The food here is always good. Most everyone is helpful and friendly with customers. There is one exception as I have had a negative experience with Nick on three separate occasions now. From acting like I'm trying to rip him off personally, despite literally saying I'm happy to pay for the side of sauce I added to my order to huffing because I dared to ask for napkins, this man should not be waiting on customers. The delivery time could be two to three hours. I'm perplexed because this is a small town. I'm from Honolulu Hawaii and that's a big tourist town and it doesn't take that long to get a pizza delivery. I had six hungry children waiting for hours for food that was coming from the same town. It's Great probably my favorite pizza place in Jackson very good cheese bread of different variety . Bone-in wings and boneless both not to bad and the chicken isn't slimey like most pizza places. Ordered 3 pizzas and some inn stix (which are my favorite) used a special deal they had for $10.99 large 4 topping pizzas and had some reward points to use. Sounds simple right? Apparently not. Went to pick up the pizza and they told my husband that I had a balance. I gave him my phone, showed I paid. He came back out and I went in. They said well our online system is different and you still owe $8. Even though I showed the breakdown with my receipt. They wanted me to pay almost $20 for 1 pizza! Yea nope! Was stuck in town on our way home due to weather. It was really late and this little place was one of the very few open that delivered. Took about an hour to get our pizza, but I'm assuming that was also because the weather was so awful so I'm not using that against them. Honestly, every time we order delivery, something gets messed up. One time they seriously brought us a pizza where all the cheese slid off, and it was cold. Cottage Inn used to be my favorite pizza place in Jackson because they have such a great variety of toppings, but its not helpful when all the toppings are in the corner of the box instead of actually on the pizza. :( That said, they do have a pretty comfortable environment in the actual restaurant. Very good pizza joint! I ate in this afternoon and had the cheesy bread and Motor City Meatball pizza. Both were exceptional. Portion size was excellent, and very filling. Our go to place for pizza when in town! Delicious crust deep dish to round to thin crust. We savored every bite of the chicken Cordon Bleu on thin crust. It was amazing!! Their ingredients are always fresh and plentiful on pizza. Meats are quality. The Hawaiian and all meat pizza unbelievable and their prices are exceptional for the quality. Well, the delivery times are terrible. So far, delivery is very late. Why do you have to tip before your even get your pizza?!?!. Ordered pizza off website that I purchased many many times before with light cheese I get it and it has way too much cheese. Never had that much cheese before ever. I call them they say nothing they can do it has 2oz less than the standard amount. Eat it or don't eat they didn't care. They have lost my business. One of the best pizza's in Jackson. We've never tried any of the other menu items at Cottage Inn, and there are many, because we go there for the great pizza, and can't get past it to try something else. The service is always tops, quality is always in the pie. Fresh toppings, cheese to die for. no matter the crust type you choose, you will get a great pizza at a great price. I'm not sure if their still doing the great carry out prices they had been running, but if so, you can't beat the price/quality. Ordered delivery online and got a call to say they were out of boneless wings and we needed to change our side. Delivery came and they forgot the side of blue cheese and the side of ranch and the 2 liter. This normally wouldn't be a big deal if we didn't have to pay a dollar for each side and 3 for a 2 liter. Ordered our food at 6:15. At 6:40 went to the counter to ask about our order. Employee said "oh here it is, it just came out". I had to ask for the chips we had also ordered. When i looked at our ticket on our box the time was 6:25. We ended up leaving the building with our food, which ended up being cold because it had sat there for 15 minutes. The staff is beyond rude at this place. I have never heard of someone answering a phone with such a tone, and the rude responses to simple questions.
