This restaurant is located on 16th Ave close to Edmonton Trail. The restaurant looks very clean and renovated. That is the positive aspect about this restaurant. I ordered take out Peking Duck from Marco's. I've had Peking duck multiple times and really wanted a nice meal for New Years Day. Therefore, I called in the order and the lady told me the 3 course meal comes with soup and fried rice. Normally a Peking Duck is suppose to have dark brown crispy skin and rich in flavour. I have a feeling Marco did not serve a Peking duck and instead replaced it with a roast duck and just charged Peking duck prices. You can easily tell from my picture that it does resemble roast duck and even tasted like a roast duck. If the restaurant claimed that it is Peking duck then I will say this is the worst Peking duck I have ever had! If I wanted a roast duck I would have just bought it at T&T for 1/2 the price. Also, I was expecting to get fried rice and instead got chow mien noodle which was good but I was looking forward to fried rice to accompany the duck. Let's say I feel very deceived. There are multiple restaurants in Calgary that serves authentic Peking. I'll go there next time.

Don't ever trust this restaurant, the price and the order what we placed is roasted goose, but it comes up a roasted duck!!

went to try the dim sum. two hard working front staff managing everything up front. service was not bad but they were busy. received a complimentary bowl of congee after ordering dim sum. food came out hot and fresh and was enjoyable. the rice crepes were a bit gooey in consistency and not as firm as i would like. they tasted decent, especially since they didn't use any cilantro. overall a good experience. just one catch, most of the menus are in chinese.

This is my 2nd visiting to Maroc's kitchen, both dim sum and dinner were authentic and tasty. Parking might be a challenge during the day.

Good value for price and food tasted good. They are usually very busy so service could be slow but food came out fast though.

Yesterday I was quite happy so I decided to order dishes from this restaurant using uber eat. Then…read moreI was disappointed. The portions were small and did not taste very well. I have never been to this restaurant. So the good news is I don't need to go to this restaurant any more. Compared to other restaurants like Chili house, T pot, this restaurant is just "let's forget about it".

A Hidden Treasure! Tucked away with low-key signage, and only a tiny bit in English. I would have…read moremissed it entirely, and than would have been a great shame indeed. A friend invited me to this restaurant. He explained that they have serious, authentic Szechwan fare, but would choose things that even a lao wai like myself could enjoy. Not gonna lie, there was some _heat_, but the flavours were more than worth it. I was probably the only pale guy in the place, which is often a good sign for a Chinese restaurant. The place was very busy, but the staff was incredibly thoughtful. The service was excellent and the food arrived rapidly. I shouldn't say "food". It was a Feast. Everything was cooked to perfection and simply delicious. My only warning (apart from listen to them when they say, "spicy") is that it is authentic. Some dishes will have the bones in. Some might have elements that you're not supposed to eat. Just like many European dishes don't intend for you to eat the whole cloves or peppercorns. If you don't have a native guide, just let the staff know. Judging from my own experiences, they'll treat you right.

Unbeatable prices. Seriously, how is the food so cheap?! They offer 2 or 3 different discounts…read moreincluding 10% off pickup, discounted items over a certain amount, set menus... Ok so the food is super cheap.. BUT ALSO, THE FOOD WAS ACTUALLY IMPRESSIVE TOO???? NOT TOO OILY, NOT TOO SALTY, GOOD AMOUNT OF SPICY HEAT, fried food actually crunchy. I really appreciated all of the above. I know the food probably isn't healthy still, but I hate when restaurant food has a puddle of oil. The noodles were a bit stuck together because of the lack of oil. Maybe this is why the squid was so crunchy too? The guy serving us in the front said his mom was cooking in the back. She's like she really cares about her customers and making sure they eat a bit more healthy, and of course, tasty food. Each dish had a good mix of veg and meat. They are NOT stingy on meat or veg. We also got the mapo tofu and it was better than t&t. Again, another thing I liked was how the mapo tofu sauce wasn't loaded with starch. In fact, I don't think there was any (along with any sugar) because the sauce was all watery in texture. Flavour and spice was perfect. Something unique about it was that it had a bunch of green peas. I know some people don't like peas. Lol. Overall, this place is genuinely good which is surprising given the insanely low prices. The staff is really nice and chill. I highly reccomend this place for takeout if you're looking for something low-key at home. Ps. There's no seating inside. This is purely a Chinese takeout joint. They have chairs inside if you're waiting for your food.
