They had items in the wrong place, with $14.99 in front of it and they charged us $24.99. When we went back in instead of offering us our money back he just said oh they are in the wrong place and had the women move them to the correct place. read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE!! I bought two bathing suits and a pair of Shorts on a Sunday. Did not end up wearing any of them. Brought them back the next Friday ( 5 days later) with original tags still on and a receipt. Was not able to return them at all! Was told by the owner I could not even get store credit past 3 days! He pointed to the tiny print on the receipt and said " It says no returns on swimwear". Which I understand if I had even taken the tags off? I actually asked him if that was even legal? What kind of store doesn't allow you to return items with tags on and a receipt? These were NOT sale items, it was over a hundred dollars worth of merchandise. I would NEVER shop there again! What a racket. Just making money off tourists, what poor customer service!! read more

I purchased a beach umbrella and unfortunately the screw came out the very first day. I went back and the manager Kyle graciously provided a new pole. The next day the umbrella actually snapped at the location near the screw. I went back to the store and Kyle was there again. I explained what happened, and once again he Graciously provided a new umbrella. We opened it all up to ensure it was working. Great customer service and I would return in a heartbeat- but hopefully not to exchange an umbrella!!! Thank you for showing great service! read more

Cheap, overpriced gifts & crap. If you like souvieners and beach equipment like blow up floaties, this is your place. read more

I like this place! It's cute! They have a decent selection of beach gear, floating, shirts, collectibles, and fudge.

I've been to a lot of gift shops on the Cape this one had a good variety. My son loved his toy from last year so much, that when we lost a piece from it, I had to return this year to get another one. And they're the only ones who carried that particular item. Believe me I looked. They also serve yummy fudge and have lots of swim toys. I think this store is pretty cool. read more

Don't waste your money or time at Marconi's Oceanside Gifts and Ice Cream. Bought a boogie board Saturday which broke after a few hour's use. We went back and they gave us a replacement part (so that was good.) Then Sunday the boogie board entirely fell apart so we went to bring it back and the "manager" was rude, condescending and called the police on my husband to get him to leave the store. We used to go their regularly but now we'll never go back. Thanks for nothing! read more

JUNK!!! They sell cheap junky crap. The customer service was really bad and the guy was rude! Bought their "BEST" beach umbrella which within broke 5 mins of using it in the beach. Went back to the store immediately to return it and he wouldn't take it back stating that "All Sales are final!!" and he cannot do anything about it. He wouldn't replace it nor he would return the money and said the umbrella is my problem after it left the store even though i bought it 10 minutes ago from him. He just turned his back on me and went inside the store while I was asking about the quality of the products he was selling. DO *NOT* BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE. THEY SELL CHEAP JUNK!!!!! read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Strict no returns or exchanges on stuff that breaks within a day. Management clearly does not care in the slightest. Avoid at all costs!! read more

So, this evening we stopped at Marconi's gifts tonight so I could get something for the person taking care of my dogs. While I was walking in with my husband, he managed to drop his car keys down the sewer grate. The people who worked there were amazing... They were so helpful, they helped us get the keys out, and saved us a drive back home to New York. The owner should be proud to have employees like those that work there. I also managed to get an adorable pair of shorts for my friend. read more

I fall for every tourist trap type store. This store had a very good selection of things to pick up and bring back home. We ended up getting our bulk of "Cape Cod" things here. read more

THIS PLACE IS THE WORST!!! Worst customer services and everything they sell is junk. Every item I've purchased from this shop has BROKE within a day or is DEFECTIVE!!! The owner is rude and will not take back anything even with receipt and all tags. Whatever you do...DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP!!! There are hundreds of great gift shops throughout the outer cape...this is not one of them! read more

We had to stop after seeing the pool floats on the roof and we are glad we did! They had a great selection of beach merchandise and we had some ice cream too. We would definitely recommend Marconi's. read more

Marconi's Beach Outfitters - Souvenir Shops Near Me - Wellfleet, Massachusetts

Terrible. At the start of our week long vacation I bought two identical donut inner tubes for my two daughters. It was immediately obvious there was a problem. When we got home one donut inner tube did not look like the other, as it was clear one item was not retaining air. When I returned to the shop, they refused to replace the defective inner tube. Sales staff kept insisting all sales were final, which I didn't dispute. My complaint was that the item was defective from the day of purchase and we simply wanted a replacement. They refused. We ultimately went to our credit card company to dispute the charge. All very sad. read more

TERRIBLE!!! I bought $60 chair that collapsed the first day we used it - several plastic pieces that hold it together broke when my lightweight friend sat on it. Their manager REFUSES to make a refund or exchange because policy is "no returns" - no exceptions. It's not that I don't like the product. It was FLAWED! This is TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. They should stand behind their products. I have bought many things there before, but never again. I hope you don't, either! read more

Do not shop at this store. They knowingly sell broken merchandise and then refuse to take it back. We purchased the "Sport-brella". The person at the checkout made a point of warning us to be very careful when we turned the screw to allow the telescoping pole to slide out. Sure enough when we opened it up at the beach, the screw was broken and we couldn't not extend the pole into the sand; and the vent zippers were broken. When we tried to return the umbrella, the manager refused to return our money or even offer an exchange. He told us that it was our problem and we needed to follow up with the manufacturer. He pointed to a sign behind the counter that said that we were required to open it up before we left the store (this was not stated when we purchase it). We're out of pocket by $90; the store obviously relies on tourists who don't come back. Well we go to the Cape every year - we've purchased items from this store before - but we won't make that mistake again. read more

Don't stop here - go a little further down the road toward Orleans. Horrible customer service. The "best" beach umbrella we bought at their recommendation broke apart the first day and they wouldn't do anything about it, pointing to their "no returns" policy taped to the cash register counter. It broke the first day and they told us to eat it. Yes, they are probably within their rights to run a business that way, but I call it reprehensible. Sell to the tourists and kick them to the side. read more
