My daughter and 2 adult granddaughters along with my 11 year old grandson were shopping in the store. My daughter was in the process of selecting hoodies for my grandson which he just loves. My grandson was with one of his sisters and they came across some small bells which my grandson proceeded to ring just a couple times. Prior to my grandson ringing the bell, a couple other customers had rung the bells. The owner promptly YELLED ACROSS THE STORE TO STOP RINGING THE BELLS! Stated he was the owner and ringing the bell once was okay, but more than that you could leave the store. The worst part of this is that my grandson has Down Syndrome and was very aware that he was being yelled at and was quite upset. When my granddaughter told the owner that he has Down Syndrome, the owner stated "sorry" with no sincerity what so ever. Setting aside the fact that he has Down Syndrome, is that how customers should be treated? My daughter dropped everything that she was going to purchase and we left the store. There were also four other parties of customers in the store at the same time and when they heard the owner yelling, they immediately left the store as well. It was great to see support like that! My sweet grandson kept telling his Mom that he was sorry and we reassured him that he didn't do anything wrong. We tried to not let that ruin our day, but it weighed heavily on our minds to think that such a rude and ignorant ass could be a shop owner and be so disrespectful to customers. My last word is "KARMA" and it can't come soon enough for that poor example of a human being. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS STORE!

The T-Shirts that are sold here have to be the highest quality T-Shirts I've ever bought in Cape Cod I had my tshirt almost a year and still looks exactly the same. The people working there are so pleasant and not pushy at all like having a personal assistant very knowledgable, truly hard to find a gem like this store because it is a family business I had the pleasure meeting the husband and wife and little one. I went to another store right by the beach and it's not even name brand but it was more expensive than the t-shirts here. This store may be a little cozier than other stores ( as I read other reviews here) but the ppl here make it easy to maneuver around and they are just so helpful. Pretty much everything sold here is overpriced, but I always come in to look, but I don't tend to buy much. I did find the classic black dog t-shirts on clearance one time at another shop in Newport, RI in March. So perhaps the trick to getting deals here is to come in the off season. They sell items for the whole family from children's apparel to clothing for adults. One of the most popular items to buy here is the simple t-shirt with the store logo (a black lab) on the front. They also carry items like sweatshirts and other clothing items. Items like mugs, tumblers and more are also for sale. The store is pet friendly, which is nice since sooo many people are traveling with their dog up in Ptown. I have small dogs myself, so I absolutely adore the pet section. They have the CUTEST little pet hoodies, so if you love dog items and have an unlimited budget, this will be your spot! Check their website if they don't have the item you want in the store.

Here's the back story: my husband has wanted a hat the way I've wanted a private dinner invitation from Jake Gyllenhaal for as long as I've known him. We see a hat, he tries it on, it's not quite right and on and in it's gone. Tuesday we walk into this adorable hat shop in the middle of P-town and are greeted by an even more adorable proprietor. My husband puts a hat on his head - nope. A second hat - nope. Third hat - yep. Proprietor says, "I could show you other hats but I'm not going to. That one's perfect for you." YEARS of looking. 5 minutes in Mad as a Hatter and my husband has the best hat. Five stars seems hardly adequate praise.

I might just be a little obsessed with this store. Why? Because I'm not a girly girl. Never have…read morebeen. I tend to really like a lot of styles that are in the boys and men's sections...but they're not cut well for my figure. Too long, too broad-shouldered....or even too narrow in some spots (notably the chest and hips). Women's clothing was just never my jam. I cried when I was forced to wear a skirt and/or dress as a kid. I'm a creature of comfort and not really into makeup, either. But, if I need to dress/glam up, I clean up fairly well...and actually own a single dress (but I prefer wearing a suit - with pants). Generalization alert: I find that many women's garments are not made as sturdily as men's...and they cost more. Well, there's a few companies out there that are catering to those of us that prefer androgynous clothing styles...and happen to be shorter, thicker, curvier...insert whatever adjective. Even shoes! My feet are tiny and yes...I can buy boys shoes (they're cheaper...)...but not one men's style of shoe is made small enough for my paws. Enter Boichick. I happened to be in Provincetown back in May...and the name of the place caught my eye. They had not yet opened but I was back in town during Carnival week and visited twice. I didn't mention this before...but I absolutely hate clothes shopping. Like...despise it. But...upon walking into a place that carries not only styles that I identify with...but SIZES that actually fit me...kinda life-changing. No joke - I'm still wearing stuff that's decades old. When it falls apart, I toss it. I found a whole bunch of well-made stuff at Boichick that I can wear for work or play...and prices are reasonable. Oh yeah...everything fits me! I don't need to see a tailor to shorten my sleeves and/or pants. Buttons aren't popping off my chest. My cute new pair of shoes are super comfy. I actually feel pretty good about myself when I'm in my newly acquired duds. So...thank you. Thank you, Boichick...for existing and filling that clothing store void I've had my whole life.
