I took a piece to be framed at Michaels with an estimated finish of two weeks. A call was promised…read morewhen the work was ready. No call came, so I went in person about two weeks after the scheduled completion date. The worker could not find my piece (payment was completed at time of order.) She called her manager, and I was promised a call on Monday, as this was a Saturday. In the meantime, she searched one more time and found the piece. The frame was completed but the work had not been mounted and was laying in the bottom of the frame. Left it to be fixed and waited for the promised call on Monday - never came. When I tried to call the store twice later in the day, the phone system kept hanging up on me. I went back on Tuesday and the piece was still not fixed. The manager was there and was able to fix it while I waited. Refund for all this trouble? $11 store credit! Apparently Michael's policy is 10% regardless of the circumstances. I do not plan to use Michaels again and would suggest anyone with a framing project to support a local business.

I made a large purchase at Michaels at Christiana Mall yesterday. I was shocked to find they no…read morelonger offer any bags. I said to the service rep at the register, " are you kidding me"?! I realize that this is a company choice but I was still dismayed. Miranda, the "customer experience manager " was there and quickly defended the store. She said, everyone has changed to this now" . She went on to say that Walmart doesn't offer bags anymore. I have two things to say to this, I'm not at Walmart, and I don't shop Walmart. One reason is that I expect better service from other retailers. i don't expect the customer service to be so rude at Michaels but if you strive to be Walmart, keep up the lack of service and promoting incredibly rude people to manage customer service. She didn't stop muttering about how I could expect bags until I left. I would like to add that the young woman at the register was perfectly helpful and did not argue with me. She just offered the bags to purchase. Maybe she should be the customer see manager. I will gladly take my business elsewhere if this is what I have to expect.

Went in looking for a gift for my friend's birthday and he really likes Rem. I went around and…read morethought the place was very cute inside, reminded me of being at a con and it was a booth there. Good selection of items and some I believe were house made. They had a good selection of Rem figures and I bought a good one for my friend.

Bought some blind boxes the other day and when I opened them realized they were all bootleg…read more Contacted the owner for a refund and while the owner apologized, they were sorry that I was unhappy with my purchase rather than apologizing for selling me bootlegged merchandise. Apparently the store doesn't give cash refunds so I was stuck returning my figures for store credit. Added photos of the blind boxes I purchased since there's some question to the legitimately of my claim. When I went back in took a closer look at a lot of the merchandise and the majority is either unlicensed or straight up bootleg. Do not buy blind boxes, figmas, or nendoroids from this store. The quickest way to tell if what they're selling you is legit or not is to look for a holographic sticker, usually of the anime company that's putting out the fig (i.e. Sailor Moon, One Piece, boxes should have a toei animation sticker.) Other items like banks and wallets are just such low quality you know they're unofficial. The store itself feels more like a middle school anime club than an actual store. The kid working was playing a card game the whole time and I had to interrupt his game in order to get checked out. The sign for their yaoi section includes a rape joke and is disgustingly homophobic. Update: Really uncomfortable that the employees have been openly talking about me to the point where another reviewer can name the day I came in. Also, to address the kid saying everything is imported straight from Japan, the owner states that she gets most of her merchandise from AAAanime. Which is based in California so you don't know what you're talking about. Secondly, Goodsmile lists it's partners on it's website http://partner.goodsmile.info/support/eng/partnershops/ AAAanime is not on the list.
