This is a fantastic store. The games are really unique and were all chosen because they stimulate specific parts of the brain. Some games that are found at Marbles are a spin-off of a popular game, such as chess and tic-tac-toe. The prices are great and not any more expensive then a really well made game. The staff is really friendly and are really approachable. In my experience, I've tried out some games with a sales associate just to narrow down my gift search. Marbles: The Brain Store: Excellent place to buy games and toys that challenge your brain in different ways - the store is divided into different sections: memory, coordination, visual perception, word skills & critical thinking. The staff is enthusiastic and fun to play with haha. I spent almost an hour playing a number of games with them and bought 1 game and 2 toys (going back for another game next week - I need to pace myself!) Will come in handy during the holidays (they have a wide price range from $10 to over $200). They just opened yesterday - my only complaint is that I wish they'd been open before the hurricane left us with an 8 hour power outage. read more

Won a contest that was taking place to advertise the grand opening of the Natick Mall location. I expected a small goodie bag with a few coupons to the store. Instead, I received a reusable shopping bag filled with a puzzle, music cd, book of brain challenge games, and a set of cards with brain exercises! I was very impressed with the generosity of store staff in creating this prize! Staff also seemed quite knowledgable about various games in the store and are willing to play them with you. This is probably one of the funnest stores in the mall. The games that they have are really unique, fun to play, and challenge your brain. The prices might be slightly higher that what you might expect, but are well worth it for the quality. The staff is wonderful. They are very knowledgeable, helpful, and quite friendly. They've also got a daily puzzle, which upon guessing the right answer, will get you a stress-ball brain. It's definitely a store that I recommend you check out while you are in the mall! read more

These stores seem to be popping up at several different malls lately, and I think that's a really good thing. First of all, it's great to have something in the mall for those not particularly interested in clothes shopping. This is a game store with unique and interesting games that you will not likely find at a local toy store. Wobble chess, a version of sudoku using colors instead of numbers, and so many more. They even have the super difficult Isis and Ramisis puzzles. Oh, and none of those ridiculous rc helicopters, fortunately. If you're looking for a unique gift or want to have a few friends over for a game night, marbles is definitely a must stop shop. Highly recommend! read more

Horrible return policy. So watch out if you buy gifts there. Assistant manager says to me I can't return that without a receipt other places sell this same product. Really it's the holidays and this is why I don't shop at these so so places. Better return policies to places online that aren't local. I love to shop local but can't deal with such small brain places like this. read more
