There's a playground for the kids, live music by local performers, and there are bathrooms with changing tables if you have littles that require them. It does get hot since this is Atlanta in the summer so prepare accordingly. The food trucks are mostly a variety yet there have been times when some of the trucks offered the same types of food (fries, tenders, burgers/sandwiches) which can be a buzz kill, so I would recommend going on the City of Smyrna government page on Facebook to see which trucks would be in attendance that day to avoid disappointment. There are some trucks that are there each Tuesday with the King of Pops being one of them. And they have vegetarian and vegan options as well. Ding ding! Most of the vendors accept cards so having a mix of cash and cards is better but not required. Again, I love it and so does my family since there's something for everyone to enjoy!
