I placed an online order and went to the side window, where we are told to go, to pick it up. Another customer was in front of me and when I walked up to the window, instead of being serviced the employee closed the window in my face and went to work on other orders. I proceeded to make eye contact with another employee and once she saw I wasn't leaving she asked me, with an attitude, how she could help me. I've lived in the area and have been a customer at this location for years. Do a better job at teaching your employees proper customer service. If I could take back my tip, I would. read more

Bruster's ice cream brought back good memories for me from when I used to live in GA. I came to GA to visit my best friend from high school and we went out to Bruster's for ice cream one night. I forgot how creamy and wonderful the ice cream is at Bruster's. I had a regular waffle cone with the chocolate peanut butter with nuggets ice cream. It was pure heaven in my mouth!! My best friend had a hot fudge sundae and loved it! His fiance had a strawberry cheesecake ice cream and enjoyed it very much! The staff is very friendly and professional. We received excellent customer service! I wish we had a Bruster's in Indianapolis, Indiana because I would visit it whenever I had a craving for ice cream. This Bruster's just sucks balls. I went with a few family members on a Saturday afternoon. The employees speak...barely and are very dry like you bothering them. If you don't like customer service, DONT GET A JOB WHERE YOU HAVE TO SERVICE CUSTOMERS. So my mom gets hers on a cone and of course they wrap it up with a napkin. She removes the napkin and boom, the cone is broken. She literally ate none of her ice cream and asks the girl can she have another. The girl brings out an empty cone and says "put your ice cream in it." Like...wtf. Makes no sense. The cone then collapses and falls on the little counter in front of the girl. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary, and decided to get dessert from here. There were plenty of people out front, so nothing unusual about that. I was so full from the restaurant where we ate lunch, I stayed in the car while my husband got out to go place our orders. Well, the wait was unusually long for a strawberry shortcake and a chocolate mudslide. After what seemed to be forever, I asked my husband what took so long? My husband stated that since school was back in session, this location lost a lot of it's employees. Therefore, there was ONLY ONE person working! How odd! Now, the reason I always order a strawberry shortcake from Brusters is because of the homemade taste of the cake itself. However, I have never ordered a strawberry shortcake from this location. I used to order it from the location in Hiram before they closed it down. I thought that if they used homemade tasting cake there, then the cake here would taste homemade as well. Well, I was wrong. Even though the strawberry shortcake tasted ok, I was disappointed that it didn't have the homemade taste I was looking for. It tasted like a cake loaf one may find in an old bread store. C'mon, it's ice cream! How can you go wrong? =) After a day out and about downtown with friends, we ended up on this side of town and out of 5, 3 wanted ice cream. Brusters, it was! I ended up getting the strawberry shortcake. I must point out that I am a chocolate fiend, and that this is highly unusual, me getting a fruity flavor. This location is hooked up to some hotdog joint, too. Gosh, I can't remember the name, but boy- it smelled awesome. If I weren't stuffed from the pizza we'd just had a little before then, I would've gotten a hotdog and some onion rings, too! But the ice cream was awesome. I sampled the fudge brownie ice cream as well. It was pretty good. Brusters isn't some nice gourmet ice cream, but it's darn good when you're craving. =) read more

The waffle cone was very stale and the sprinkles were too hard but the place was peaceful and quiet and had a lot of options.

I went here last weekend after taking my dog to the park. I got a double scoop cone and a free pup cup for my doggie. The girl who waited on me was so sweet and accommodating as I changed my mind about the type of cone I wanted after ordering. Definitely recommend this location!! We have come to this location before and have had good experiences but today was not the case. We ordered a banana split and a brownie sundae this time. When my aunt noticed her banana split did not have the pretzel stick I mentioned to employee Sirak he stated he mistakenly placed it in my sundae, which I had already received from him and paid for. He then attempted to remove pretzel from my cup and place in banana split. I asked if he could simply place a new pretzel into the banana split he stated no and that he would have to charge me you in order to correct his mistake if i did not return pretzel that was already in my ice cream. I don't know how much a pretzel stick is but it must be a pretty penny for him to be so absurd about it. Oh well! Guess I'll try frozen yogurt! read more

I love this place. I've been coming here for years no matter where in Cobb I am living. Excellent quality ice cream. I have yet to be able to top it with store brought or other chains. This location has been going downhill for a while because of the poor customer service. The employees have been acting annoyed when customers come to the window. But it's really the only ice cream shop near me and the flavors are great. So it's around 7:30 and I stop by. I wait about 5 minutes or so and although the shop is open, no one is to be seen. I never received any service. Don't go to this location expecting friendly service or I guess any service at all. As I left, I saw the employees hanging out behind the shop in cars. I feel sorry for the owner of the shop because he's losing potential sales. read more

I previously posted this location in Austell on the "closed for seasonal business", back in Feb. 2017. I went to this location on NATIONAL ICE CREAM DAY, Sunday, July 16, 2017. I wanted to check out the progress since the new owners took place and things outside looked much better than over the last 12 months. They spent money on umbrella tables and cleaned it all up. I really expected a little 'perk' as it was national ice cream day. I ordered a small Birthday Cake cup and the owner tried to up sell me on a medium for $.50 more. Come on mister, it was national ice cream day, the perk was supposed to come my direction. It was good ice cream, nothing extra, it was small and it was what I ordered. Good luck to you, I purchased Birthday Cake by Turkey Hill at Kroger and it made me just as happy several scoops over the $4.50 I paid for mine at Bruster's. Went to the Bruster's today that is co-located with Nathan's to get a chili-cheese dog with the cheese fries and lemonade and of course some ice cream for my daughter. Employee was rude and let me stand on the Nathan's side for a significant amount of time before telling me to come to the Bruster's side. The fry machine wasn't working so I couldn't get the fries. Ordered my daughter's ice cream and also two chili cheese dogs which I was charged for but when I got home I received to cheese hot dogs no chili. Receipt says two chili cheese dogs. I just want what I want and definitely want what I pay for, My daughter enjoyed her ice cream though, just wish I could have enjoyed my food too. read more
