Spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, it feels like a library meets urban oasis. The top floor is the star of the show, with a mini park, solar-panel shade structures, and breathtaking views of Lady Bird Lake. There are cozy reading nooks, spaces for games, a whole floor for kids, plus a cafe and gift shop downstairs. Parking is conveniently available below. We came for books but stayed for the views! As I walked inside to get my non-resident library card, the team working at the front desk was extremely helpful. After getting my card, I took the time to explore their space. Their communal work area in the lobby is basically like a coffee shop without the coffee. There's a kids' area separated by a door and a glass window, which I watched a kid smack right into on accident. Not important to the review, but funny! Upstairs is the endless rows of fiction and non-fiction books, with plenty of comfortable spaces to work and private rooms to get tasks done. I didn't check anything out, but I was amazed by the sheer size of the spot. Outside there's an outdoor play area that I would've investigated if it wasn't 105°F outside. It's a lot cozier in the A/C. Cedar Park Public Library is the book readers' mecca for smaller municipalities. I am still dreaming about it a few days later. At the very front of the library, there's a separate play room with kid's books. They have a very large selection of large print books as well. They even have a Wi-Fi patio outside which is available 24/7. Apart from the courthouse, this is the most impressive structure on the downtown square.

I got my library card today and turned in my voter registration forms. The ladies at the front desk were both so amazing and friendly. The upstairs area has study spaces and plenty of books. The study rooms are spacious and clean. There are so many great resources to explore and the librarians were so happy to share. There are movie nights events, a silent book club, puzzle fun, and much more. Upstairs there is an area for plant propagation and a car you can complete if you have a plant question. You can check out the availability of your book online and reserve it, and they will put it in a special place for you. However, I love going through and just looking through the books and finding my book myself . There's something special about a book! When the book is due to be returned, they generously text you and ask if they can extend the rental, the avoiding charges for forgetting to return a book! There are events that are held at the library, such as concerts and other gatherings. They are posted in the front of the library. You should go look at them. This has become my new regular place. I am now reading a book series and it's so nice that I don't have to buy the book. I just read a book and I bring it back and I get the next one and in the meantime I'm certain to make a new friend! They have a children's section that just looks amazing. They even have a Jeep in there for the children to play! It is modified to be completely safe. There's no risk here. They have an elevator so you don't have to take the stairs to the second floor if you don't want to. When I was there, they were having a sculpture sale and it was just beautiful sculptures all over the library just wonderful. I highly recommend this library.

I had asked about getting a membership, which was a quick form to fill out with basic information. And a drivers license. Within minutes I had my very own Bee Cave library card. Like I said, this is a small library, independent. But they do have a lot of wonderful books to check out for 3 weeks. And if you need to renew a book, it's another 3 weeks. They didn't have the books I was looking for today. But I can alway check back another day, or use the "Libby" app.

I spend so much time on business matters because of their mistakes. Another review mentioned they are condescending and rude, which is true. They repeatedly burden their mistakes on the students, and I have to get involved. The only good experience has been with teachers and the registrar's office. However, the registrar's office needs to get up to date with the times and allow students to drop classes online. Business Services, Financial Aid and Advising offices are the biggest hassles. Their billing could be more clear as well. I am college-educated from a private university, and I have a kid at a top-ranking school, and this is not even close to how a university should be run.

The Pflugerville community library is so perfect for children and adults alike! WiFi is fast, plenty of tables and chairs for you to read or work, and the staff are super kind! I had to print a few documents today and all I had to do was email it to an address and they printed it quickly for me for 10 cents a sheet in black and white. Super easy and convenient since I was already there! Unfortunately they don't have a licensed notary onsite but the UPS is close nearby that also offers this service. Highly recommend you stop in and say hello if you're in the area and want to support your local library!!
