So much fun !!!!…read more This is my second time doing this race. First time was in DC. Different styles! DC was more competitive! But NY was so much fun !! Tips! First ! Go online to check the dates ! Second! Buy the package! Different packages according your style with different prices. I recommend the package that is mail to you. So much easy and you don't have to do the long line. Third! Check the free samples before you do the race! After the race the lines are extremely long !!! The race starts inside the mets stadium! You can take pictures and spend a little time inside the stadium and on the field! After the mets stadium you will find the Different stations of colors! You can actually play with them ! Take pictures! Sit on the floor! At the end they are giving medals and more color powder! It's extremely fun ! You can go with your family! no matter the age ! Kids ! Seniors! It's a fun family activity! Extremely reccomend!!!

This is not a timed run, also I don't believe it was officially a 5k distance. But it's a fun…read morerun! So if you're looking to be timed accurately this race is not for you. Be warned you sometimes have people literally rolling on the floor in the color areas... which already has somewhat limited view due to all the color powder, so be careful and jump over them... I recommend bringing a bandana of sorts to cover your nose and mouth when running through the areas they throw the color powder... it tastes nasty... The coolest part of this race is running through Citifield... like on the field! you bet I #selfie during that part of the run.

I fell in love with this ballpark; I don't know how else to describe it. From the moment I stepped…read moreinto the place, all the way up the ramps to the nosebleeds, up until the last pitch. We sat in front of some annoying people, but that could not kill the immaculate vibes of New Yankee Stadium. Massive in scale, it's hard to describe the immensity. I'm afraid of heights, but my romance with baseball shielded me from noticing how high up we were. It's probably not the biggest ballpark I've been to, but it sure felt like it. We rolled in on a Thursday night, one Tigers fan, and one Giants fan, having purchased tickets the night before (I think?) at $40ish a pop. It's obvious you can spend rich people money at this place, so having the affordable option for the weary (my knees are still mad at the subway, how embarrassing for me) traveler was great too. We rode the trusty subway right up to the stadium, with a quick trek three blocks up for vegan deli sammiches before the game in lieu of popcorn dinner (ha we did that too). You can find the same at Grand Concourse & E 161st if you're not sold on hunting for the ballpark options. Popcorn and beer were cheaper than they are in California; I am not complaining. We chose some "local" beer, Goose Island New York Legendary Golden Ale in a tall boy. Would sip again. The weather was perfect, and the Yankees won after giving us an entertaining showdown against the Devil Rays. We even got a good pickle. Mmm mmm. I liked the between innings entertainment, especially the Death Star sound effect. It's also pretty cool they sang God Bless America before the 7th inning stretch. I'm used to only hearing that played on Sundays/day games. The train line isn't super horrible on the way out as it snakes around outside the station in open air. Much better than being sardine canned down the stairs into the depths imo. Of course, we were headed back to Brooklyn from the Bronx so sorry if you do end up that way. Love me a transit option to the ballgame. Don't ask me about parking because I don't know her.

Yankee Stadium's Legends Club seats are by far the best sports experience in NYC! I think they're…read moreeven better than the all-inclusive seats at MSG for a Knicks game, with more food options and better seats. The food is top-notch, from sushi to filet mignon. Each night, there are BBQ, Mexican, and Italian stations, including pasta with different sauces. You'll also find Italian cured meats and cheeses, and some nights there's pastrami and corned beef. All of this is upstairs, where there's also dining-room seating. Downstairs, you'll find the same great options, plus classic ballpark food like hamburgers, sausages, and hot dogs. It's an experience worth having. If you get the opportunity and have some extra money, go for it!

Pre-booked my tickets online directly on their website and paid $20 for unlimited rides per person…read more(weekday was $15). Children under 36" are free and can get on rides with a full paying adult. Came here just before 11am and the place was half full. We were able to get on rides pretty much straight away. There are 11 rides in total, not all available to children under 36 inches. There are also games kids can play for $5 per go. We kept going from one ride to another. The rollercoaster takes picture as you on the ride and charges $6 for one picture or $10 for two. I bought two and realised upon paying there was a QR (digital download) option for $3 per picture. I asked the lady about it and she said "sometimes it does not work so we don't advertise it". Bought lunch in the venue as well. Chicken tenders and fries were $12.50. Also bought ice cream for $6. Not the cheapest but pretty convenient. There were also magic shows being run every couple of hours. The magician was pretty funny for the kids but after a couple of goes with the same content.. Apart from paying extra for the pictures, I had a great time and will come back again. It's a relatively cheap day out if you go on many rides. It is also a good alternative for the last two weeks of summer breaks when most camps are done for the season.

This armory is an amazing structure that brings great joy to all people visit this establishment…read more As a high school student who participated on the track team I would travel from Brooklyn to this armory to run races . Due to the fact that there is no armory dedicated to track and field in Brooklyn , this is where all the winter events are held. As for the inside of the Armory , it is beautifully crafted and well taken cafe of . The interior is well taken care of and the staff is accommodating and kind . The armory is a well funded structure, which is amazing place to visit .

Went to The Armory in NYC for Nike Nationals and overall the experience was amazing. Watching these…read moreyoung athletes compete at such a high level was really impressive. One of the best parts of the event was how they introduced the elite runners. They turned the lights off in the arena, announced each athlete individually, and they ran out onto the track with sparks shooting up. That whole presentation was fire and really made the moment feel special for the athletes and the crowd. The atmosphere was great and you could feel the excitement in the building. My only complaint is about some of the staff (not all). I had been sitting in a section for over four hours after being told by one worker that it was fine to sit there. Later on, a few other workers came over and told me I had to move. It wasn't even the request that bothered me--it was the way it was delivered. When you're dealing with adults, especially paying guests who've been there for hours, it's all about how you communicate. At one point it felt like they were all teaming up like Voltron instead of just getting a supervisor to clear things up. Situations like that can easily be avoided with better customer service and communication. Needless to say I didn't go anywhere until my daughter ran off the principal. Aside from that situation, the event itself was great. The competition, the energy in the building, and the way they highlight the elite athletes made it a really memorable experience.
