Today, with my prior purchased winning tickets, I reinvested for over $110 again. When I got home, it turned out to be $225 in winners. So I rushed back to store to cash in $125 of winnings and reinvest the other $100 back into more tickets. When lady scanned tickets, she kind of whispered something to the other co worker, who said they just cleared registers, and couldn't cash tickets. Said his register was empty, and she only had $200. I said, I just needed $125 back, to which he replied that wouldn't leave any money for anyone else and insisted it is up to retailer to cash in tickets. He clearly said they had the cash to cash in ticket. For the number of times I have been here purchasing hundreds of dollars through the years, to be denied cashing in a winner, when you admitted you had cash to do so, makes no sense. Once or twice in past, cashier mentioned they couldn't cash in tickets, which at those times , was fine, because I was merely purchasing at those times.
