Around Christmas expect long lines, customers purchase by the box load and gift fresh cheeses and sausages. A stop to the "Cheese Factory" isn't complete with a visit to the ice cream shop and enjoy a scoop or two in a cone or dish.

I have always been satisfied with their products and service. Chrlie's has a large variety of top quality cheese to choose from. The grocery department includes both staples and specialty items -- mostly at convenience store prices. Their ice cream is generic but acceptable and the scoops are always generous. For my daughter's wedding rehearsal night picnic we ordered pulled BBQ pork & hot turkey for sandwiches, potato salad, bean salad and a few other items from Charlie's catering kitchen. We also bought a box of a variety of fudge slices, bridge mix, malted milk balls (my husbands fav and he said these were the best he has ever had). For me I could hardly get one in my mouth and they had a thick layer of chocolate. Good but not something I could just pop into my mouth like my husband can. We got a gift box of chocolates for a gift. My husband tried one chocolate off the shelf and said it was really good. So we are hoping our friend likes hers. I have been working my way through the creamy fudge. It is delicious and they have a large selection of flavors. I ate the bridge mix but for me it had too many of the big malted milk balls, which I gave to my husband.
