The shelves were well stocked and prices were reasonable. The two staffs available (I'm assuming the owners) were very helpful. I had a meat lovers skillet and I loved it! Plenty of food (couldn't finish it all) and was really loaded with toppings. The whole meal sat on a bed of great hash browns and was topped with two or three eggs (can't remember how many). My wife's sandwich was also good, but she thought the Split Pea Soup was only average. It was different, made without any thing in it (but peas), no ham, no potato, just a thin soup. Flavor was okay, but a little ham or another additive would have made it pretty darn good. We didn't save room for dessert, but the large selection of pies look sooooo good. Might have to stop in again just to try the pie!

This is some of the best Indian food we have had in a while outside of Chicago. I mean it's in a small town and still the flavors they have kept is outstanding (and the service and ambience just added to the experience). We ordered the mango tandoori shrimp. It was so damn good. Just not enough. Slightly overcooked but the flavor more than made up for it. The lasooni (garlicky) chicken tikka was so well cooked. (Something a lot of restaurants make it too dry). Soft, juicy and succulent. Flavor was so darn good. Tried the bhindi which was a super hit for the table but a tad sweet for me. I had tried the butter chicken in the leftovers. Very Americanized and much too sweet for me HOWEVER, the non Indian folks made a comment that it was the next butter chicken they have had. So there you go. They had a mango beer. MMMMMMMMM. Soooo good and refreshing. Samosas were ok. The exterior was EXCELLENT. The filling was mya for me. Keep in mind that I would definitely come here again, and I can speak for myself. I would drive especially from Chicago to have their food. That's how much I like the ambiance, the service, and, for the most part, the food. There's just one other restaurant in the opposite direction of Chicago, south of Chicago, about 2 hours away, that I drive toward Omaha. That's how much I like the food. This is only the second one I would drive that far for.

Staff was very friendly and got us seated right away and got our orders. The drinks and food both came out pretty quick as well. Will definitely be back to try more options!

But before the cheese curd endeavor, I had ordered a scoop of ice cream which was darn near the best I've had in a very long time - so good it rivals my ultimate favorite frozen custard. I forgot the exact flavor name of ice cream, but it was a peanut butter chunk chocolate.... Also, this "scoop" of ice cream I requested was not merely a scoop, it was more like a bowl! Also picked up a variety of meat, summer sausage and meat sticks. Never can go wrong here. Highly recommended if you're within an hours drive! Funny thing to add is my work colleague was with me - he did not grow up in Wisconsin and never had fresh cheese curds. I had been talking about squeaky cheese curds before we had been here and he gave me the crazy WTF look when I was trying to describe them. Well, he popped a few into his flapper, and he started to tell me "hey, these squeak when I chew them!". He's then telling me, hey.. squeaky cheese curds... they actually squeak! Laughing his ass off at the same time ..... and amazingly, that bag disappeared very quickly
