Ended up ordering the tartar, ceviche and ossobuco which were all delicious! My favorite had to be the ossobuco- soft tender meat and the sauce was just delicious! Cost: Well priced for the quality of the dishes. Had no complaints here! Environment: Clean and cozy, loved the decor- one of the walls were covered with plates and I thought it was extremely beautiful! Service: There weren't a lot of people when we came and so I had no problem with service! We were checked up on well and often enough! Uniqueness: Cute wine bar (would need to come back and try out the wine they have to offer) but the food here was also delicious and would come back here, especially for the ossobuco!

Delicious locally sourced Algarve seafood at an exceptionally fair price; Prato Chei is the place…read moreto be. We ordered the seafood rice (only available on Sunday), fish of the day cataplana, and squid Algarve style. The portions were pretty large, so we got our fill of shrimp, stone crab, sea bass, and clams. The seafood rice had so much crab roe in it, imparting an umami bomb of flavor that was complemented by the al dente rice. The cataplana came steaming out of the copper pot. Perfectly briny seafood forward broth cooked in white whine with bell peppers. The squid was so tender and went well with the buttered potatoes. They also had a magnificent selection of desserts. You could go up to the fridge where all of them were displayed to pick some. We ended up ordered a berry cream cake with layers of hazelnut cookies. Nutty and creamy, it went well with the acidity of the fruit.

We ordered an array of items including a bean stew that is popular in Portugal (comfort food-delicious and hearty), cheeses, an omelette, and potatoes and wine. Our total was about €19 for a feast with wine. I'd also like to add that wine was 1,50 euro -- $2USD. What a steal - - and it was good wine. Seating floods from the inside onto the sidewalk. Mimar blends in to the restaurant located next door - the strip appears to be one long restaurant alley. So, if Mimar is too busy you're bound to find something next door.

As we entered the building, it was tastefully decorated for Christmas and we were greeted with warm smiles from staff and a woman behind the counter telling us she makes all of her desserts homemade! The 6 of us each ordered something different and we all agreed, they were absolutely delicious!! We were never pressured to leave or eat quickly and enjoyed our dessert and drinks with no rush or pressure from the staff. The woman came to our table and asked for feedback and we chatted with her for close to 15 minutes! Chicca is an absolute gem and her desserts are absolutely amazing! Her dinning menu is something we will come back and enjoy. We would all highly recommend this place.
