However, 95% of the time, when I take him to Karate, I sit in the truck and have a cigar. If I'm on that mat he's going to be paying attention to me. No matter what activity is going on; even when we're working in different groups, he will always watch me to see what I'm doing. Sure, I can teach my son MY set of skills, but Master Robert Hylton is connected with a vast number of highly skilled fighters & Instructors with decades on top of decades of experience, and because I'm not a hypocrite, when I tell my son I want him to be better than me that means I have to expose him to teachers who are better than me.
