Although we did have some decorations, minimal were needed as the space is very well maintained and looks pleasing already. The food was very good. The drinks were good and reasonably priced. The staff was very attentive to our needs and fun to engage with whenever we ordered at the bar. At the end of our function (bar time) the staff even helped us out to our vehicles with the decorations and supplies that we did have to break down. Overall it was a very good experience. We did have one lane of our 3 give us some issues throughout our 2 hour slot and had to find help a few times when we couldn't troubleshoot on our own, but we were given some extra time to finish up, and we had a great time. The bowling alley looks like it's had a fairly recent refresh - updated signage and decor and lots of screens. The older bowlers felt the music was a little loud, and wished you could see the arrows on the lanes but the younger members of our crew seemed to enjoy the vibes.

The staff is friendly. We had a few issues with our lane and had to reset it a few times. Recreational use seems to be very common here. It was more noticeable as it was getting later in the day.

We also added some large games to our space as well. We then made it upstairs for our dinner program and the buffet was amazing! Delicious and tenor serving they have a very nice event space upstairs. The staff were very nice. Two notes would just be that they had our program run on a court back to back with another group so it was ackward since we needed all those large games set up, had preset beverages and appetizers. Plus a full check in table. The other court was empty so I'm not certain why we weren't just in the other space. Then they also only had the front bar open in the first hour versus the one right at the courts and bowling where we were and other guests enjoying their time. In the case of our group it also left us separated into two since as they waited for drinks then they just became comfortable in the front bar talking. They did open the upstairs bar once we moved up there. I would book an event here again I would just make sure to clearly note some of those details and/or even book the court an extra hour to ensure no crossover even though I was able to set up 15 minutes before our event start. Everyone had a really fun time and for many it was their first time experiencing it.

The alley opened early and gave him and his classmates run of the place. The building is surprisingly large inside. The vibe is retro, not out of a conscious effort but because it's been kept up with what is likely its original furnishings. I loved the green chairs for lane-side seating and the white and beige checkered lockers. There's a large bar area with games and your typical bar/bowling alley menu; all items are affordable and around $5. Behind the bar is a large smoking porch open to those 21+. In the front of the building is a banquet room with a silk-flower-covered wall on one end and a front porch facade at the either. There's ample floor space and several 8-foot rectangular tables; the kids had a great time running around and helping themselves to a buffet that the parents were allowed to bring in (hot dogs, sloppy joes, cake, hot chocolate, etc.). The owners/managers were super chill; they hung out at the bar to serve anyone who wanted drinks and generally just seemed to have a good time watching the kiddos have the times of their lives - no complaints when they accidentally stepped onto the lanes or decided to climb on the ball return. They let the parents do their jobs and had a good grasp of the behavior that comes from a group of six-year-olds hopped up on sugar and bumper bowling. Prices for regular bowling are reasonable and they've got a slew of other activities to keep the people of Jefferson entertained from karaoke to dart leagues. It's a bit of a drive from Madison, but I'll keep it in mind for some pre- or post-drive-in movie fun!
