We were at Cedars Bowling Alley in Cedarburg recently for a bowling fundraiser tournament and had a really fun time. It's a great vintage bowling alley with a lot of character -- not a big flashy place, which honestly adds to the charm. They have 8 lanes and it worked really well for the event. We bowled for the fundraiser and they also used the large side room for a big raffle and gathering area, which was perfect for the group. It made it easy for everyone to hang out, socialize, and participate in the raffle between games. We didn't eat while we were there, but we did have drinks and the service was friendly and attentive even with a full crowd in the building. There's also a patio area that looked like a great place to sit when the weather is nice. Overall it was a really fun atmosphere and a great place to host a fundraiser or small tournament. We decided to check out a local alley for my kiddo's 9th birthday. We had an hour to bowl since leagues were coming in later, which was fine. He had three young kids with us and an hour was plenty. The guy at the counter quoted us $27 and said we pay after. 30 minutes in, the lane broke. It was fixed in a couple minutes. 45 minutes in, the motor on the ball return died. The staff member tried to fix it. Ten minutes later, he turns to the other family and offered to put them on a different lane (but they were full and lanes were about to be taken up by the league), but told them the motor died. We stood there never given any info while the guy went back to go bartend. My husband went up to pay since we figured that's that, even though no one wanted to talk to us. When my husband went to pay, the guy tried to charge him almost $40, which was more than quoted, and us not even finishing one game. After my husband disagreed with the price since we were there less than expected, had a broken game we couldn't even finish, we paid half. No apology (fully understand they can't control an electronic component, but some kind of sympathy is just being human and a good business person). I was more upset that we didn't get any kind of communication that our game was cut short and there was no solution. Unfortunately, we will not be back. read more

I have been in a bowling league for a few years here so I am particial to the place. The atmosphere they have created is amazing. There are tons of big screen TVs all over the place to watch the game. The bar is very uniquely shape that has almost turret like areas where the bartenders can get in and ask people what they want and you can eat more in a circle table then a straight bar with your friends. There is great service, great bowling, nice pool tables, and very large area to sit down at if you don't like the bar. The place is small and has a towny feeling to it but is a very nice place. In regards to the food, they have great homemade chips and flatbread pizzas. They also have great regular pizzas too. I have tried to bowl here on Sunday's several times. The website lists Sunday as open bowl from noon on. I pack my kids up and head in looking for a fun Sunday afternoon. I get there and they really condescendingly tell me there are no lanes the whole day because of a benefit. I clearly see at least 75 percent of the lanes open. I'm not exactly sure what you have to do to bowl here, but this is the third time I've had this experience. You have a website, please use it to tell customers you are not open to the public. And be more public friendly. If you wanna just be closed for leagues and parties, that's fine, don't list Sunday as open because it never is. read more

What a lovely bowling alley! We recently had a party here for our school and it was great. The people were very friendly. The location is gorgeous- they have large windows and a deck overlooking a beautiful section of the creek. The whole interior looks like it has recently been redone and is in great condition. It is small- maybe 10 or 12 lanes? I'm not sure how busy it gets during regular hours since we had the facility privately rented (which I would recommend for any type of large gathering).
