First off I just want to say service is awesome and Eve is a rockstar! I've just finalized my order and it was complicated but she was patient with me through all the changes and I will get it delivered today. I can't review on the quality just yet but I expect it to be very good based on their showroom sample! I was on the verge of buying custom cabinets but they were just too expensive, and I really wanted 5/8" cabinet boxes but couldn't find a company that does that, with a solid face frame (they're all 1/2"). I was surprised this company met all my requirements (weren't online) and were close by! If you are considering Mapleville's Cabinetry for custom work, be warned! Their process is fundamentally broken, their attention to detail is non-existent on their client's behalf, and their executive team will shift 100% of the blame onto you when they mess up. We spent the entire design phase discussing and confirming a shaker door and drawer finish. Every single rendering provided prior to production clearly depicted this exact design, and all design proofs were signed off based on those specs. When filling out their special-order form, with very little guidance, they didn't point out that the order wasn't what we had discussed. Instead of acting as a competent custom builder and clarifying a clear discrepancy between the visual proofs and the text forms, Mapleville's blindly pushed the job through. While stating they have their clients fill out these custom order forms to ensure there is no confusion, we as clients are NOT custom cabinetry specialists. To make matters worse, while they outsource manufacturing overseas, they failed to perform the most basic quality control. They failed to request production photos or if they did, they did not ask for our approval on them at the point in time where mistakes could have been corrected before it shipped. When confronted, COO Vicky sent multiple emails explicitly disclaiming all responsibility: -"Renderings don't count": She claimed their renderings were "never intended to represent the final custom door profile," and this was not noted on final renderings because their 3D software lacks their custom collection--treating their own signed visual designs as mere placeholders and disclaiming any visual reliance. -Refusing to fix or refund: She flatly denied any replacement or refund because the order was "produced exactly as authorized" by a technical form, totally ignoring the design intent. -Blaming the client: She stated it is "ultimately the customer's responsibility" to catch discrepancies between their confusing forms and the visual renderings before production begins, WHEN THE RENDERINGS WERE CORRECT FOR THE CUSTOMER NEEDS. Charging us to fix their mess: In a follow-up, she doubled down, stating that replacing the wrong fronts with the actual shaker style requested is "not a warranty issue" and demanded we place a brand-new order at our own expense including paying for air freight if we wanted them in a timely manner. The air freight doubled the cost. And if we didn't pay the air freight, we would receive the items in 10-12 weeks. Mapleville's Cabinetry accepts zero accountability, provides zero stop-gap oversight for their overseas suppliers, and expects clients to pay twice when Mapleville's fails to clarify conflicting specs. Save yourself the headache, wasted money, and defensive leadership--go with a vendor who actually takes accountability and acts as a true partner from design to delivery. read more

There consistency is unmatched and I do get cabs from other companies when a different color is needed. There quality is far better than ay other RTA cabs. End results are equal to at least top of line from Lowe's or Home Depot for at least 65 % less. Cabinets were chipped and didn't even fit into the frames! My complaint was escalated and the lady Vicky was no help..... and did not offer any resolve! The cabinets were, of course, new and as a dissatisfied customer, my concerns were not taken seriously by the lackluster response from Vicky! I will never buy any more maplevilles products and caution anyone looking at them to look elsewhere. I ordered an entire kitchen of their inset shaker cabinets and it was a nightmare from start to finish. The cabinet broker would not pre-assemble their cabinets, the only line from his offerings that would only come flat packed. That was the start and should have been a warning. I spent many many hours gluing and screwing most of the cabinets together. I say most of them because several of the cabinets they sent were mis-packaged and impossible to assemble without the proper parts. In once case they sent two right side panels to a cabinet, which of course needs both right and left. They eventually sent a left panel...but to a different cabinet and it didn't fit. One cabinet came without door hinges. I ordered several roll-out trays and 3/4 of the ones they sent also didn't fit...for different cabinets again. There are no included instructions for assembly, and many of the cabinets do not have the online instructions either. The lazy Susan corner cabinet instructions were useless, again for a different cabinet and it took an hour on the phone with them to hack a solution. Finally the inset doors are entirely up to the assembler to get the reveals and gaps correct. There are no pre-drilled holes or anything to make the door attachment exact. That is quite a failing for an inset door style as the door fit is really the epitome of that cabinet style. Look elsewhere. read more
