Our garbage disposal totally failed and was pouring water out into our cabinets, whether it was turned on or not. It's 9 lives were up! Scheduling our job with Mike was quick and easy. Within a day, John and his co-worker came out to replace our completely failed garbage disposal. John called me when he was on the way and showed up right as advertised. They were both very professional and courteous; a definite pleasure to work with and extremely knowledgeable as I was asking questions. Maples Plumbing - Failed Garbage Disposal pouring water out - Plumbing Near Me - Lincoln, California

Unfortunately our tub cartridge needed replacing and Maples had already replaced it within nine months. So a bill for nearly 400.00 was quite shocking. We have used Maples Plumbing for all our plumbing needs and with three houses on the property and 5 bathrooms, thats awful expensive. We are now using another plumbing company. Our water heater recently stopped working and we were sure we needed to buy a new one since a number of neighbors had recently replaced theirs. We called one company and received a $1700 quote via email. We then called Maples and they said they have to see a job before giving a quote. Mike arrived later that morning exactly when he said he would. We described what was happening and Mike said he thought he knew what the problem was and could likely fix it rather than us having to purchase a new unit. He inspected the water heater and confirmed the problem was what he suspected. He had to order the part, but was able to get it working enough for us to have hot water in the meantime. Four days later, Mike was back to install the new part. He inspected for rust and sediment, as well as any other problems, and confirmed everything was in good shape. Total charge was $340. Mike is obviously extremely skilled and knowledgeable, but what we find most impressive is his integrity. Beyond that, he is genuinely nice and fun to talk with. When he left, my husband and I commented that we wished he was a friend because he is someone you would love to hang out with. How many service providers can you say that about??? Bottom line is that Maples Plumbing is a company we've found we can trust. This is a small family business that is built upon generations of experience. Such a professional and personal experience! Mr Maples and his team are experts. Very efficient, friendly, and quick! I had a 12 yr old toilet that kept clogging, even after Mr Maples snaked it. We had them out in the beginning of the year to unclog our shower and some other plumbing in the home. They couldn't do simple fixing that we ended up doing ourself. Waste of $75 with our home warranty. It's absolutely ridiculous. Don't even think they need what they were talking about because we never had to access the roof to unclog our shower. read more

This is how a locally owned service company should operate. Having plumbing problems is never a fun experience and owing a house over 40 years, one expects there to be problems from routine maintenance to something worse. When we had a drain stoppage I had called my home warranty provider who offered up Maples Plumbing to make a service call to our house. They called within an hour after I made the service request, and asked if they could come by the same day to have a look which they did and got us able to use our sink again. Unbeknownst to them and us, there was a deeper issue that required them to make another service call, to which they did with a smile and eliminated that problem. Soon another non related problem popped up, again I was pleased when Darren from Maples came out again to help us out that he took a very holistic approach by using his camera to look at our pipes and see if there was anything going on that we couldn't see. Fortunately all was good and we were of course relieved that nothing serious was going on under our house. What impressed me the most and why I'm writing this review is that Darren was in touch with me over the weekend and made us his first service call on a Monday to help remedy this problem, and I know he spent more time than his service fee allotted, and yet he did us a solid by making sure our plumbing was in good shape, which also saved us from not having to check into a hotel. My two year old Toto toilet started screaming while the tank was refilling. Consulting with Google & YouTube explained the fill valve was the likely culprit, fixing or replacing would involve getting on my artificial knee. That was not going to happen! Maples Plumbing, right here in Lincoln, had the best reviews in the area. Mike answered the phone, worked me in the same day, and arrived wearing his face mask, stopped just outside the front door to put on his surgical booties. Mike tried a standard Fluidmaster fill valve; it wouldn't fill the tank. He headed to Home Depot, no Toto brand fill valve, he tried the "universal" Fluidmaster, wouldn't fill the tank. Since I already had shopped at Amazon for the Toto fill valve, I suggested I order the valve (the Toto part # is on the underside of the tank lid) and call him when it arrives. Mike was flexible, returned the same day I called, had the new valve installed & working in short order. Mike was quick, knowledgeable, clean and flexible; I will call them for the next plumbing issue. read more

I literally would not hire these guys to park my car. They were sent out by our Home Warranty company to replace a failed hot water heater. The first guy gets it installed, and does not put the PVC pipe from catch pan to the floor as is required by code. The solder job on the copper pipe on top was so bad that is start leaking and without that PVC pipe there it just pools on top of the riser with no where to go but in to the wall. So a second guy comes out, he installs the PVC pipe but cannot find the leak, and proceeds to tell me that the HWH is defective. I had to show him the leak on video and point out the bad solder job. This guy goes on to put a blob of solder on top that would make ANY engineer cringe and tells me we are good to go. Fast forward to the city coming out for the permit and they fail us because of this shoddy work. Wife calls the owner hopping mad, the owner says HE will be personally out to fix the problem. Turns out he does not have the stones for that, and literally send the FIRST guy out that screwed it up in the first place. Who, as a business owner would do that? He fixes 2 of 3 of the defects and tries to leave, when I stop him and ask about the 3rd. He has to get on the phone to verify that the INSPECTOR is correct. Honestly, I don't care if the inspector is wrong, they're telling you this needs to be done. We have let the Home Warranty company know, and we are going to do our level best to get them removed from the pool of plumbers so nobody else deals with these clowns. We tried to get another plumber through the warranty company, but since the permit with the city had their name on it we were stuck unless we went through the permit process again. Lets hope 3rd time is a charm. read more

Darren is someone that is a straight-shooter and will not give you the run around, unlike most other places. Very impressed with this company! Our water heater suddenly stopped working last night, around 8pm, and Maple Plumbing was highly recommended through Home Advisor. We originally scheduled their earliest appointment that wasn't for another 2 days. This company really impressed me. They were easy to schedule with and I got an appointment quickly. My plumbing issue wasn't an emergency so waiting two days was no problem. I had a constant drip in my bathtub no matter how long after use or that it was tightly shut off. Plumber diagnosed the issue, ran to Home Depot for a part and fixed the leak in under two hours. I came across Maples Plumbing through our home warranty. They came in to put in a new water heater for us, and my husband and I were really happy with how timely and efficient they were. When I had other issues not covered by my warranty (such as a clogged shower drain), I shopped around and got estimates from 16 to 17 plumbers. Even though a few were actually cheaper than Maples, I called them and asked them to come in anyway because I really liked their vibe. I just think they're so friendly and courteous. The son (Darren) and the father (Mike) are both such gentleman and really take pride in doing a good job. They call you back right away, are so friendly on the phone, and are even thoughtful enough to put on little shoe booties so they don't get the floor dirty! you'd be surprised how many people DON'T do that. I love that I'm supporting a small local business, and even though they're not the cheapest plumber, I absolutely do not mind paying a decent price for excellent work. We aren't made of money and are on a tight budget, but I will only ever call Maples Plumbing for help with any of my home plumbing issues! :) They are the best and are absolute superstars at what they do. read more

Maple plumbing is the "use car sales man "of plumbing. Once you've made the purchase and they have your money their whole attitude changes. They had put a water heater in for me of close to $2000 and which I never had hot water over five minutes. My gas billed doubled due to water heater being turned up on highest setting . I made a call to them to find out what was wrong and spoke with the father. I informed him that he could come whenever he's in the neighborhood and after two months with no response I called him and he said he lost my number. How could you lose a number of a customer that just bought a $2000 water heater. Do they keep no records once you purchase something. So we scheduled an appointment for him to come out and he was a no-show. He came out a week later And said it was a cartridge in the shower area and not The fixture connected to the water. Darren came out once the part was available and quoted me $240. I felt it was a hunch because he had not examined anything and thought that was high ,Darren then said well I am here what do you feel comfortable with I said 150 and he raised his voice very loudly at me and said my price is not negotiable? He just asked me what I felt was fair ,after Darren Left my young grandson asked me if I was sad , I think he sensed Darren's hostility towards me . My son changed the part in less then 10 minutes for 40 and it was just as I thought ( not the problem) . So glad I didn't pay the 240 for 10 minutes. I told both Darren and his father that I believe it had clogged up from my previous water heater and they were aware of this problem but did not really know how to deal with it , the next day I called a different plumbing company and the plumber showed up with the tools and parts ,he knew exactly what was wrong just by me relating to the office booking woman. I was Polite and patient with both Darren and his father and don't understand how they treat single women as poorly as they do or any customers for that matter . Only interested in collecting money and not solving the problem. Poor Poor service and not knowledgeable once a problem arises . Turns out it was the fixture that the father told me it was not .
