Come for the donuts! Yes it's absolutely worth the drive from wherever you are coming from. All the…read morebaked goods are amazing! There are a few places in the area, but this one is great. No cover charge and I could eat a dozen donuts. We got the scones and apple strudel as well. Both 12/10! The apple cider is also off the charts. Some of the best I've had. The pies are super fresh and I wanted one of everything! They post that they sell at local DeCicco's as well but can't confirm if it's all flavors... No u pick apples but they have every variety imaginable in the stand and all were fresh like they were picked that day. Plenty of other farm fresh veggies and honey. There is also some spots to eat outside and a food truck with some pizza and bbq options. The road to get here is a little rough. Super narrow and some spots where only one car can pass at a time. There is a parking lot and street parking available. Would very much depend on the time of day and year you are going but we were able to get a spot in front at the end of the day. Would definitely recommend for anyone of all ages especially if you love apple cider donuts!

Around 2pm, they were sold out of pork and wings. Live music outside (country) and several picnic tables outside. Bathroom is an outhouse. The donuts are good - they're the fried kinds. Not super friendly staff. The cheddar scone was suepr dry and tough - it wasn't flaky at all.

For about $35 a ticket we were there for an all day experience started at 11 AM. We arrive later…read morebecause it's Sunday and we like to sleep in. It was a very warm day with plenty of parking plenty of apples if you want to pick them pumpkin, squashes, preserves, apple cider donuts, and the list goes on and for those of you who like an alcoholic beverage, you could partake there were two places to get not just one. I personally enjoyed looking at all the animals chickens the goats pigs we love the pig races. They were cute little things smart too. The kid seem to be having a blast because there was a ton for them to do and we of course took part of the hayride, cause we're big kids. I didn't make it to the haunted mansion, but I did do the corn maze Which I think it's a lot more fun when you're a kid, but I did it. The chicken platter was OK. I do wish they had had some more salad options because I really can't eat a ton of this fried food but you know what what it's worth my float which was an apple cider float was delicious And the apple cider is as always superb It's a fun family activity not cheap but fun and you know what it's outdoor fun before the winter comes so why not

Not to be mistaken for a TRUE farm-to-market that sells primarily their own produce. For that you may need to go to Fishkill Farm. TIP: Focus on the baked goods in local Honey's. Read the labels to avoid more commercially produced jams. Very expensive and don't expect service with a smile. It's a great stop if you're on your way to meet up with friends or family and want to bring a hostess gift.

Not only is it wonderful to have fresh kale, Rob, spring greens, and…read morethe last of the winter tunnel, spinach, but just having the word spring in my life after a less than stellar winter is uplifting. Poughkeepsie Farm Project is conducting it outreach this weekend and next to attract new membership. It was wonderful to meet some of the new people who are considering joining the farm as a CSA member. It's an investment to be sure. You do need to pay for your shares upfront so that the farmers know how much to plant and can budget accordingly. That being said, they do accept credit card payments and even EBT/SNAP through their website ordering system. It's fun to pick up my share because one never knows what's been picked - it's a surprise every week. There's just one more pick up before we go dormant until late spring/June. I'm preparing and storing as much as I can to hold me over because I know where the food has been grown and I know it's chemical free. If you are in the region of the Hudson Valley/Poughkeepsie town, consider joining. With the price of produce and the supply chain glitches ( don't get me started on why), being assured that you will have fresh produce, fruit, mushrooms, eggs, yogurt, and cheese from a nearby local farm lends a piece of mind
