The only serious help I needed from him was his opinion on my broken bridge and he decided I could still live with the chipped tooth that is still a constant nuisance and a food trap in my mouth. The biggest concern I have with the office is their policies, the cold, inhumane and heartless attitude I had received from their office manager Cathy. Machine-like, cold-hearted, uncaring, unsympathetic, big barrier and block to any potential goodness of that place. The office itself is outdated and small. I will never set my foot in that place again.

While they get the job done most of the time, they do not go above and beyond. Positive: The secretaries in Bremerton and the main clinic in Gig Harbor are friendly. They find appointments most of the time quickly. I like that they will see all 3 of my children on the same day, whereas most will only see 2. Negative: The is a lack of communication. Most recently my son had an appointment for a tooth extraction. My husband waited a good little while before they told him they could not see my son because a month prior he would not let them take xrays. They referred us out. That should have been done when the appointment was made.Besides, they could have take xrays prior to the work as I am sure they would have been able to do it. They do not work well with kids who have anxiety or other special needs. My daughter was supposed to have a filling done. She would not stop crying and they refused to fill it. They put a cap over it to supposedly stop further decay. My son most recently suffered from ADHD and some other issues. He had a bad day and we went in for an appointment. While he has had xrays done before, this particular time he would not cooperate. The Hygienist was nice and talked to him. She was not able to get much done. The dentist who was Asian saw him. My child would not cooperate and would bit down on the equipment. The Asian Dentist was snappy and was huffing and puffing and was not please with my son. I personally did not like the way my son was treated. Most pediatric dental clinics have partnerships with the hospitals to do light sedation or other methods to get the work done. The clinic they referred us to have the partnership with Harrison This clinic is limited in what they can do. They are behind schedule most of our appointments, so I cannot they are always late. Maybe they are on time for another family. They reschedule weekend appointments the day before because the dentist doesn't want to come in. Occasionally they are open on the weekend. I had a weekend appointment set up, but I was told the dentist did not want to drive into town. I had an appointment on 12/24 and they called the day before to say they were not going to be open. If they had a few patients, they should have squeezed everyone closer together or had staff come in. My time in just as valuable as theirs. Also, they are telling patients private business. One hygenist was explaining why another patient was gagging. I was not concerned and did not mention it nor ask, but I was told the person was sick, had a medical condition, and had just finished Chemo. That was not my business to know. Unfortunately, this is the only or one of a few places that take State Medicaid Insurance. Once I am able to put my children on my plan, I will transfer them to a different dental clinic

One of my children is on the autism spectrum, and Dr. Levey is excellent with him, better than the pediatric dentist I had been to in years past. Our consult was great. I found him knowledgeable, experienced to the extreme and very personable. I definitely don't understand why someone would characterize him as rude because he was very polite and interested in me and what had brought me to his office. I was most surprised by his low pricing relative to his reputation and amount of experience! For about 3-4 months I had investigated the cost and where to go to complete a total mouth reconstruction. I.e. implants and fixed dentures. I spent weeks researching and meeting with dental consultants. I came to Dr. Feldman's office assuming he would provide me with the upper range in pricing for dental implants. His prices were actually lower than non surgeons with a third of his experience. If you read my other reviews, you will see that I always do my homework with regards to getting things done that matter. Without a doubt Dr. Feldman and Dr. Bloomquist at Swedish in Seattle are the best in the Pacific Northwest at dental and maxillofacial surgery.

A piece of bone was protruding from my jaw, lacerating my tongue every time I spoke. I went to a dentist who referred me to Dr Feldman - I got an appointment right away - which made me happy- late in the afternoon. This was 2 years ago - but from the office you'd think it was 1978- the receptionist was aghast that I had not brought my checkbook. I hadn't written a check in years - they did not have the ability to take any kind of credit/debit cards. Then they came to get me, taking another complete set of ex rays - One of the first things Dr Feldman told me my drs were idiots and that there was no way cancer could be diagnosed from dental ex rays - which struck me odd - Drs don't usually bad mouth each other. After that he looked at the ex rays then told me that he was leaving in 2 hours to fly to Singapore to meet a grandchild and that someone would contact me in 2 weeks to schedule something - he had only taken my appointment to "get another one in " before his vacation then he was gone. I was in pain and all he did was try to cast doubt in my medical team - milk my insurance and leave. Funny thing though - I managed to fall a asleep that night - when I woke up the next morning - it was gone - it had broken off in the night - less than 10 hours after he looked at my ex rays. You'd think one could tell. I never heard from him again - but he continues to bill me the $40 co pay - I am sure it has cost him more than that to try to wring the $40- I hope since then he has upgraded his office to include those new fangled card readers Why'd I wait so long? I had another oral surgery nightmare recently and it all came back- honestly I thought he was no longer practicing - he seemed pretty close to being on his last legs then. Dr. Feder/Dr. Germack's office has a great set of staff who are friendly, accomodating, and always willing to help answer my questions. They have been really good at making me aware of the costs not covered by my insurance so that I am not surprised. Dr. Germack is very personable, knowledgable, and has been doing a great job in treating my dental problems.
