Absolutely LOVE Hotworx! I was introduced to Hotworx from my sister's bestie and close friend of…read moremine Krystle K. My sister had joined Hotworx shortly after Krystle did and I had been meaning to try a free class with them for some time. After setting up my initial free class with Haley the three of us managed to finally take one of these virtual sauna classes together. It was super fun and I was absolutely down to supplement my powerlifting workouts with these quick and intense workouts in the saunas. It's been a little over a month since I joined and I have loved being able to sign up for classes at any time of the day in a 24 hour period, being in the sauna by myself or the max of 3 people. It has been the perfect self care regimen I've needed since the weirdness of the pandemic and the world getting to a new norm. I know I'll keep coming back to this location to workout with my sister and Krystle as well as one that's opening up near where I live. Thank you Hotworx midtown for helping me realize what my mind and body need to be the warrior woman I am!

We tried a yoga class at my first class here and it was great! I have tried yoga at many other place before, but since you can probably only fit a maximum of maybe 3 people at most in a room at a time, I felt way more comfortable here than anywhere else I have ever done yoga in my life! Hotworx gets its name because, well, you get to workout in an infrared sauna! You definitely will sweat! After our workout was finished, I was able to take a tour of the studio and Haley was our guide. She is so helpful and friendly! She is definitely what made me want to come back for a second workout, after which, I did end up signing up for a membership. It is so worth it if you think about it! You can do so many different classes at different times of day! If you need to cancel, you can cancel about 2 minutes before class and you can sign up just before class starts as well if there is available spots! Hotworx is so convenient for a busy person!

Correct Gym Culture…read more Christopher consistently demonstrates strong leadership and has had a measurable impact on his team performance and morale . Chris clearly communicates team goals and how his work connects to company objectives, making members feel safe and welcome. Today I witnessed Chris identify an issue constructively resolved the issue while he still protected both the customer and the company while maintaining good values. Christopher show he doesn't ignore the issue or take a shortcut and demonstrated strong ethical judgment. I'm very confident he'll get his staff onboard with this way of thinking

However, the customer service experience we recently had at the front desk was extremely disappointing. A friend of mine had a payment issue where her monthly transaction didn't go through. She came in the next day to figure out what happened and to resolve the issue. While she was politely trying to explain the situation, the front desk employee, Christian, was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. She asked if she could still work out that day and contact her bank afterward to resolve the payment issue. He immediately said no, idk may that's the rule, but considering we've been a member since. However, the way he handled the situation showed no effort to be helpful or respectful. There was no attempt to offer alternatives or explain things professionally. She ended up paying the balance, but there was also an additional service fee added on top of the monthly fee, which didn't make much sense since she came in right away to resolve the issue. Then the next day another charge appeared even after she was told she would not be charged again. We pay to be members here, and while the gym itself is great, members should not have to deal with rude or unprofessional behavior when simply trying to fix a billing issue. Customer service, especially at the front desk, should reflect the quality of the gym.

I love that this location is near a few great dining places as well. It makes it easy to put in an order for pick up on your way out from working out. The workout studio is fairly large compared to the other studios I've been to. Rather than a typical L shape I'm used to the studio is a large room with the rowers and treadmills positioned across from each other on one side near the windows and the weight floor is to the left. There's enough space for a 3 group comfortably without having to move around too much to avoid being in someone else's space. Just like the other studios there are showers and toilets available for use. Near the locker area there are also two vanity areas for you to get ready for the rest of your day with hair dryers and other essentials one would need. I love that Orangetheory offers these amenities especially for those who go straight to work or an event after working out. I know I'll be coming back to this location again soon when they all open up again. I appreciate the how central it is to other places and love the ample parking and proximity to great food joints like foodies and that bison burger place.

There are clear instructions for strength training by the person running class but never fear they have TVs on the wall with demos if you forget. The rest is choose how hard you push yourself on the treadmill and the rowing machine. For rowing it's about form which you learn. For the treadmill you choose your pace depending upon if you see yourself as a walker, jogger or runner. You wear a hear monitor to be able to judge how hard you are working. Use your scores to push yourself. The staff here are super helpful to show new people how to use everything and they can help you modify anything if you have any injuries. I will definitely return when I am in Omaha again.
