Love love love the Barre Code! If you're looking for low-impact, isometric workout that'll lead to a good burn and sweat, look no further. The music is usually an upbeat remix of pop hits, the shades are drawn, and the lights are glowing. It's an immaculate studio that has motivational phrases and a class milestone board for those who take 100+ classes to sign. The instructors push you and model the exercises. Whether you're beginner or advanced, the workout will challenge you. I don't like a lot of hullabaloo and chaos at the gym, and Barre Code is super efficient. Check in, store personal items in a locker, grab your weights and bands, and find a spot. You're in an out of the studio in under one hour! Plus, there is free parking in the adjacent outdoor lot. It's easy to book classes through Class Pass. A monthly membership for unlimited classes is $75. Barre code currently offers a mix of morning and evening classes, some of which are in person and some are live-streamed. There are even outdoor classes for those who want a HIIT-type class. Definitely give it a try!

I thought I was going to fall off the bike and die the first time, but I didn't by the end of the class I was sold! I love love love Whitney's class! She's full of energy, has great playlists and makes it fun! You can go at your own pace and do what you want so I really enjoyed that and was very comfortable my first time.

My friends and I did Chaeli's sculpt class (or I believe that's what it's called) and loved it. We were sweating our butts off, which who doesn't love a good sweat?! It was a combination of yoga poses, little bursts of cardio and strength training. Due to covid, the yoga studio isn't renting out Yoga matts and weights. I would recommend bringing a matt and 5lb weights for this class if you'd like. Otherwise my friends and I did it without a matt and weights and did just fine! Ps - if you don't have a yoga matt and your worried about the floor being hard, don't fret, the floors squishy! We signed up for our first free class through the mindbody app and it was one of the easiest processes I have ever done. The ladies at the location weren't super pushy about signing up for a paid membership and were extremely kind and chill. I'll definitely be back for another class!

All of the classes are heated, which makes it feel like such a good workout every single time! I always leave feeling like I really did something for my body. Every instructor I've had has been great. They are encouraging, clear with directions, and make the class feel welcoming no matter your level. It is definitely beginner friendly, which made me feel so much more comfortable when I first started. Also, the studio is always very clean and organized. I also really like that they have multiple locations around town, but the Aksarben location is the one I go to the most since it's super close to my home. It makes it easier to stay consistent when it's that convenient! If you're like me and need a class environment to stay motivated, this is such a great place to try. I'm so glad I found it and I definitely plan to keep going!

I'm pleasantly surprised and now considering an annual membership! I've tried most of the classes and have enjoyed all of them. From someone who lifts more heavy and less reps, the sculpt and barre classes require more time under tension so it's a great challenge and something different for my week. The yoga classes have been calming yet challenging and I feel comfortable as a pretty novice yogi to flow through without many hang ups. All the instructors I've had have been very nice and personable and you can tell that there is no judgment, regardless of where you're at in your fitness journey. I haven't used the facilities besides putting my stuff in a small cubby and the women's locker room but everything seems nice and clean. It's a little weird to me that no one really locks stuff up, but I understand that they lock the actual when there's a class in session. Between the street parking in the garage right behind inner rail, it's really easy to park and get to.

If you are more of a person who likes to plan their own workout, they have a massive variety of machines and free weights that ensures you are able to get a great workout in without having to wait a long time for a machine! They also have an amazing indoor and outdoor pool. The outdoor pool is a DREAM in the summer- I could literally spend all day here. They have an outdoor and an indoor cafe that has high quality ingredients and food, truly making it so you could spend your whole day here. On top of the workout classes, expansive gym, pools that make you feel like you are no longer in Omaha- but somewhere more tropical they also have a great workspace if you are looking to make a meeting right after a workout. They have a clean, well maintained locker room that allows you to shower and get ready for your day here as well. Life Time is truly like my second home. Perfect day: yoga, steam room and sauna, cafe for a protein packed smoothie, get comfortable in their work space and get power through some projects, pool with a book and a slushie, shower off and go home. Could not be a more perfect day.

Unfortunately, my experience changed due to a situation involving a spin instructor that deeply impacted my personal life. This situation made the gym feel uncomfortable and no longer like the safe space it once was for me and my family. What has been most disappointing is how everything was handled. I did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously, and ultimately I was the one who had to leave and cancel my membership after many years. I understand that personal situations can be complex, but when they affect members' comfort and trust, I believe they should be handled with greater care and accountability. Because of this experience, I would encourage others to carefully consider what kind of environment they're looking for when choosing a gym.
