We ended up here by accident; we are driving cross country and decided we didn't want to drive all the way to Scranton. I used a dog friendly app, and they have lodges that accept dogs for a $10 fee. Lodge has a whirlpool bathtub as well as a shower, bunk beds built into the wall, comfy couch, stocked with snacks for sale for $1, and a bedroom with a queen bed. They serve breakfast but we were leaving too early to enjoy it. Seriously tempted to drive back to pick it up lol. The owners stayed up to receive us since we came in late, and it was very appreciated. Dog friendly and pointed out areas he could walk around. I definitely want to make a trip back! The price is also a great deal.

The home was built in 1989 with efficiencies for a bed and breakfast and does not disappoint! Set back and located off of Bee Line Highway next to the Treasure Lake entrance provides ample accessibility to and from Dubois and the surrounding areas of Clearfield and Jefferson county. The entrance to the Inn is very welcoming and inviting with lamppost lines of light guiding you to a cute little narrow creek run along the left of the property. The grounds are well kept and fun to admire. The Inn is large and cozy. The suites are great accomodation for a couple or individual and they do have a larger suite for small families. Ample parking available and relaxation abound. The roommate rates are very affordable for all travelers and I have to say the breakfast is quite tasty! impeccable service and attention to detail. I will be staying here again.

They are wonderful! They do anything they can to make their guests feel like they belong. Finally, there is the house itself. Enjoy mechanical music? Boy have they got it! Then there is the collection of rare clocks...to many to count. During the summer, you will probably receive a tour of the spectacular antique car collection which includes two Franklin Automobiles and an American LaFrance roadster, to name a few. Also, because of covid, you had to ask for extra towels if you want them, extra toilet paper, and you had to ask to get your barrel emptied. But Julie was there to get in touch with if you needed anything. There is a nice veranda in the back where you can sit and enjoy the yard. We stayed in room two, which was very nice for us; it overlooks the front of the home, and has plenty of windows for a nice cross breeze which we enjoyed in early May for sleeping. The property overlooks a quiet spring in the back, where chairs and a firepit are nestled near the stream. We had a nice time sitting on the back deck and getting to know Carrie and Dave, and another guest; the innkeepers were genuinely interested in getting to know us, but not overly involved and had zero problem giving us and the other guests plenty of room to enjoy the home ourselves. Breakfast was again very generous and enjoyable for us; we are healthy eaters and picky about what we eat. We did not go hungry whatsoever. Breakfast consisted of ham quiche, fresh coffee and tea, milk, sausage, muffins, Greek yogurt with fresh cut fruit and a crumbled topping. All amenities were accounted for in the rooms including towels, soap, shampoo, body wash, Q-tips, cotton, plenty of towels, and clean drinking glasses. We could not have asked for a nicer stay and plan to go back again.
