I have read the reviews and I can't say that I have the same issues. Is this place a magical Wonderland? No not at all, but for me the location, convenience, service and price make it a 4 star location. Pros- Location-near the airports, near my job, near shopping, eateries and entertainment. A hop and skip to downtown Seattle. Price -when I moved in, the apartments in the surrounding area were hundreds more per month than this one. Management- Kody has been awesome. He is always helpful and responsive whenever I have a concern. CTL overall is a good management company. I lived in one of their complexes in UP and had a good experience. Maintenance- I have only called maintenance once and the turn around was prompt. The next day of my recall is correct. Cons- Age-it isn't the newest complex but it is clean and well maintained. Trash- the trash can get a bit full at times on the south side of the complex because the receptacles are small. There are others around the complex if needed. The one near my building is only full around Xmas. Safety-My car wasn't touched but my partners car was broken in to. I haven't had issues with kids making lots of noise. Maybe those people live near the pool/basketball court/childrens play area. There is also a sports field on the west side of the complex that may get loud but I live on the east side. I haven't been accosted by any weirdos. I live in the 3rd floor so no one is on my balcony randomly. The one thing I can say that is true is the car and parking situation. Parking can be scarce of you have more than one vehicle. Cars are also broken into. The reason why this doesn't lower my rating is that I have lived in a gated community with security and still had my car broken into. In both cases I spoke with management, they were responsive in assisting with a solution and it did not happen again. Over all is this a 5 star luxury complex? No of course not but I think it is a great value for what I am getting. It is a good place to live in a great location that fit my budget nicely. My neighbors are nice and they all seem like long term tenets. There are some minor gripes but nothing I haven't experienced with other complexes over the years. read more

This apartment complex is clean, quiet and offers peaceful community living. I also like that it is close to freeway access, shopping centers and entertainment. The staff is amazing, especially the apartment manager! They are prompt to answer maintenance requests & repairs if necessary and any questions you might have. After 3 years I have had vehicle keyed (3 separate occasions), vehicle broken into, random vehicles parking in my assigned spot. Today took the cake... vehicle parked behind my vehicle (my vehicle parked in ny assigned space) so I cannot leave. I call the after hours line for the apartment, they state they cannot do anything for me. Tow company won't come unless the complex has them come out...so I am left unable to leave. One should not be inconvenienced and left with no other option but to try and hunt down the owner of the vehicle door by door. read more

I've lived here for 10 years now. There are good reasons for that. Our current apartment manager is Kody, he does a top rate job. Managing apartments is not easy, there are so many kinds of people, and some very difficult to work with. Our grounds are kept up beautifully, and the apartments themselves are very nice. (Like I said, I've been here 10 years). I love the diversity of tenants too, and meeting my neighbors. We have optional gatherings a few times a year to help get tenants familiar with each other, my favorite is in the summer, when we do a barbecue. The pool is kept really nice, we have lounge chairs around, and security is keen to watch that people nearby that are not residents, don't 'crash' the property to use it. There is also a jungle gym for the little people, and it's well loved. Our workout room in the cabana is clean and big enough for there to be a few people using the machines, weights, and floor at the same time, but not so big that it's overwhelming. Sauna is small, but always nice and clean, and tanning bed. We've almost always had good management, Gabby (that now manages another property) and Kody have been my favorites. As I mentioned, they deal with a wide range of personalities here, and I've seen first hand, Kody deal with tough situations with calm and coolness that I would not able to do. As with any place, we've had tough situations, but how they're dealt with is important. I can always count on any issues within my apartment to be resolved quickly and thoroughly. Our maintenance manager, Seth, is also a very kind, tolerant, patient person. I trust him, and the team, in my unit whether I am there or not. I have two dogs, and never had any issues (they're good dogs) with trouble between maintenance and my dogs. I also love that we are across the street from a fantastic walking trail that goes up towards the third runway at Seatac, it's a bonus to have that option for movement- we have busses that run next to the property, and are very close to the light rail. The one thing that I'm not happy about is the cost of rent, which is high everywhere and not the fault of Kody or Maple Pointe Apartments. The company that owns Maple Pointe, CTL Management, keeps competitive with the going area rates, (I was going to give 4 stars because of this, but this review is about Kody and Maple Pointe Apartments, not the senior company, CTL management, that could lower cost but doesn't) so it's average with surrounding properties. I've found places higher and lower, but I believe for the price of these apartments, what you get is a great place to live. read more

I love living here at Maple Pointe Apartments. It's nice and quiet. I have great neighbors. It's in a very convenient location. Takes two mins. to get to the freeway. Five mins. to grocery stores. Very close to public transit. Can't even begin to tell you how much gas I have saved from catching the bus or light rail to work. I highly recommend this complex! read more

I am coming up on 1 year of living at Maple Pointe apartments and I really enjoy it. The rent is very reasonable for the area and people comment all the time on how much they like our apartment (our two bedroom two bathroom is huge!). We are right across from the airport but the insulation of the doors and windows is amazing and when closed you cannot even tell there is an airport there. I have had people sit on my couch for hours before realizing that planes have been flying by the entire time. When we moved in the apartment was very clean, the carpets had obviously just been cleaned, and even though the appliances looked a little old almost all of them worked great. The exception was the fridge which we had problems with the first day, when we called the maintenance guy came and looked at it (the door seal had fallen off) and attempted to fix it once. The door still wouldn't seal but they gave us absolutely no trouble and instead of trying to fix it again like many other places would have they replaced it with a brand new fridge. We had only been there two or three days and really appreciated the prompt attention this issue received! In the past year we have enjoyed the events that Akili and staff have hosted and we really feel like they actually care about the residents. We are looking forward to another year at Maple Pointe and would definitely encourage people to check it out. read more

I lived here for 2 years, had my car and storage unit broken in to. Have had random people come up to my door knock and stand extremly close to the door, making me feel very unsafe. They say they have a security officer at night but hes just some skinny little dude always on his laptop, not even looking at the complexes. They charge a $400 pet security deposit per animal and then another $30 for pet rent per month. your patio cant have any indoor items. not even a wooden chair. smoking is banned from the whole complex so they expict you to go across the street or somthing. there are so many crying kids in every building, the bushes are filled with trash . the rent will increase. i started at $1000 for my 2 bedroom and by second renewal they were trying to charge me $1600 for month to month. the dog poop bags are never filled. my mail box have been broken in to several times and it took them 6 months to get new locks. the gym says its 24/7 but when the office closes at 6 you cant get in even withyou key card, it is also closed on holidays. People will take your parking spot unapologetically. There is rarly any visitor parking. It sewaterlike every month there was some inspection either for bugs or mold or the fire place or the patio, ect. I messed up a payment on my second month of living here. (put my roating number in the wrong box) making it so i had to pay through cashiers checks for the next year and a hafe. They told me if i wrote an apology letter i could go back to regular computer payments, after doing so i was then told that they would not exept my apologies and kept making me pay with cashiers checks. They also have your mailed packages sent to the main office, then the main office will leave a note in your mail box telling you to come get it. Everytime i received a package the note would either be a week late or i never even got one. Oh and when we left and filled out the form to vacate, i got less then 1/4th of my securiry deposit back with a full page explaining every little thing wrong. Lint in the dryer. Finger prints on the fridge... Real small pety crap. The apartment them selfs are made of nothing but drywall and fake wood. Walls are very thin and fixters are not boilted in right. Our dishwashers water wasnt hooked up...and maintenance is a fucking joke. You scedual the help online throgh there website and either they wont show up...they'll come without notice...or they well come for no reason.. A maintence guy came to my door when a paper saying my stove was broken. The paper had my name on it and everything but. Best apartment complex in the area.( You will not find anything close to what you will get at Maple Pointe). You get what you pay for, The main Leasing agent Gabby is absolutely amazing, She is always kind and welcomes you with a smile, if you ever have any maintenance issues, the maintenance staff is there with quickness. I lived in a 1 bedroom 1 bath for $1,100 on a 9month lease. I worked at the Seatac airport, and it would take me 4mins to get to work. There is also a RapidRide F-line (Sound Transit) that runs along the complex, you also have easy quick access to 509N to Seattle as well as I5 and I405 and SR167. Great location with the Southcenter mall minutes away. Overall I have no complaints with Maple Pointe or the leasing agency CTL Management. I worked nights so I slept during the day, I am not the heaviest sleeper but the sound never bothered me occasionally you will hear kids yelling outside, but that is because Maple Pointe is a family complex and the kids are always outside playing, or Shooting hoops at the basketball court. I never had any theft problems or anything like that. Maple Pointe contracts out a Security company who does frequently patrol the complex at night, which I liked. Again I have nothing but good things to say about Maple Pointe. For the area for the price, it is worth it. Other places in the area might cost less, but the quality is nothing compared to the quality at Maple Pointe. I lived there while I worked at the Airport, I am in my early 20s and it was a good first time rental. If your a small family or a family starting out this is the place for you, there are kids out playing everyday, rain or shine in the courtyard. There is a basketball hoop, pool and playground. If you have kids they will make tons of friends and never be inside. read more
