This fun little area is a common stop in the middle of the downtown Burien area. This square is located near the Library and several apartment complexes, just like every other town square in the area. There is also a fountain and several modern art pieces. They also feature some modern gardening that they attempt to explain with displays. I think their goal here is minimal upkeep to keep costs down. There is ample seating in the area, either on a bench of along a concrete wall, and the police do a fair job of keeping the area clear of dangerous people. Sometimes you can spot some unsavory folks about, but they are probably just trying to do drugs, so move along quickly to avoid confrontation. There is also a nearby transit center if you need additional bus options aside from the few that are near here.

I was impressed by the layout of the apartment.  It feels more spacious than the actual square footage.    It has been a breeze since moving in more than a year ago.  My neighbors are pleasant and there has been no incident.  I am a short walk or drive away from everything I need.  When it snowed, Lisa had shovels available for those of us who drove, but we are a short walk to the bus.  Renovations and improvements have continued and we are notified of any in plenty of time. The only drawback is there is no parking for guests.  We are in a densely populated area and parking for visitors can be a hassle.  Overall, management is great and living here has been awesome!

The owners are awful. I lived there for 10 years and the place has only gotten worse and not better. They cant keep a residential manager, they leave every six months. They never obtain permits before starting projects which resulted in me and 5 of my neighbors having a blue trap over our balconys for 4 months and a board going through my window...the window wasn't fixed for over two weeks in which they compensated 25 dollars off rent for. They have mold and leaks and they have been told by tenants and ignoring it for years...My grandmother lives in the place now and they finally have no choice but to fix the problems they moved my grandma temporarily and told her she would only be there three weeks. Its now been 2 months and they didn't even START til 3 weeks ago. Now they are saying she will have to be out til new years and when she returns they are saying her rent will raise from 700 to over 1000. They raise the rents often. They didn't let most of the people in the apartments that there were problems for months and were giving no notice. My grandmother was only given two days to get out of the apartment...STAY CLEAR OF THE APARTMENTS. They are awful

She is always incredibly helpful, professional, kind, and welcoming. Alex, one of the leasing agents, is particularly helpful and got me into my apartment quickly when I was going through a tough time. The location is perfect! I have a dog so we are always out walking around the neighborhood. Downtown Burien has so many good restaurants and shops. There is a small dog park a block away and the farmers market and library are just two blocks away. I feel like I have a great apartment for the price, which is really hard to find these days.

No not at all, but for me the location, convenience, service and price make it a 4 star location. Pros- Location-near the airports, near my job, near shopping, eateries and entertainment. A hop and skip to downtown Seattle. Price -when I moved in, the apartments in the surrounding area were hundreds more per month than this one. Management- Kody has been awesome. He is always helpful and responsive whenever I have a concern. CTL overall is a good management company. I lived in one of their complexes in UP and had a good experience. Maintenance- I have only called maintenance once and the turn around was prompt. The next day of my recall is correct. Cons- Age-it isn't the newest complex but it is clean and well maintained. Trash- the trash can get a bit full at times on the south side of the complex because the receptacles are small. There are others around the complex if needed. The one near my building is only full around Xmas. Safety-My car wasn't touched but my partners car was broken in to. I haven't had issues with kids making lots of noise. Maybe those people live near the pool/basketball court/childrens play area. There is also a sports field on the west side of the complex that may get loud but I live on the east side. I haven't been accosted by any weirdos. I live in the 3rd floor so no one is on my balcony randomly. The one thing I can say that is true is the car and parking situation. Parking can be scarce of you have more than one vehicle. Cars are also broken into. The reason why this doesn't lower my rating is that I have lived in a gated community with security and still had my car broken into. In both cases I spoke with management, they were responsive in assisting with a solution and it did not happen again. Over all is this a 5 star luxury complex? No of course not but I think it is a great value for what I am getting. It is a good place to live in a great location that fit my budget nicely. My neighbors are nice and they all seem like long term tenets. There are some minor gripes but nothing I haven't experienced with other complexes over the years.

It is an older building but I stayed in a 1 bedroom and it was pretty spacious in the bedroom, living, and dining. The kitchen was a bit small. The unit was neat overall. Walls were painted, carpet cleaned (carpet everywhere except bathroom and kitchen) and appliances were clean. There's plenty of storage space. Walls are thick bc I never heard my neighbors. No laundry in the unit but there is one on every floor. A key is needed to enter the room. The hallway would smell from time to time. I think it was from people's dinner? Although it is along a main road in Seatac, I felt pretty safe. The grounds were cleaned every Wednesday. It's close to the airport and the light rail and that made me think I would always hear them. However, when I was inside I couldn't hear it. Maybe I did when I had my windows open but for the most part, the community is quiet. We were assigned our own parking spot with no additional cost. One thing I didn't like was the visitor parking. There was about 4 spots AND there's no street parking. I had to tell my guests to park across the street at the post office. It's a good thing my guests came at night bc the post office won't let visitors park during business hours. There's a swimming pool, bbq area, and basketball court. I never used them but it was good to them it there if I wanted to.
