On a road trip with friends who had never experienced Buc-ee's, we had to stop. Her first reaction…read morewas "the gas was cheap." That is when I knew I had made a fan. The kids loved shopping for new shirts, snacks, and seeing what fishing equipment they needed for a trip that didn't involve fishing. We stocked up on car snacks, grabbed pulled pork sandwiches, and a few new shirts for our collection. This was the right choice for us. 31.07.2026

While I understand businesses may ask questions about service animals, the way this was handled was incredibly unprofessional. Krysta loudly questioned me in front of other customers and began reading questions from a paper about what tasks my dog performs. When I tried to explain that I have POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), she was dismissive and laughed, which was humiliating and embarrassing. Not all disabilities are visible. I felt singled out, judged, and treated with a lack of respect simply because I do not "look disabled." My dog was clearly identified as a service animal, and I even offered proof when questioned. What upset me most was not being asked a question, but the rude and public manner in which I was treated. No customer should be made to feel embarrassed because of a disability. Unfortunately, after this experience, I do not plan on returning.

GAS AND GO! This is…read morea simple little gas station that was located super close to our hotel. We stopped in to fill up. I noticed that they had a sign that regarding an inside grill that prepares breakfast and lunch items so I wanted to check it out. When you are a gas station that is also serving food, I need to see a clear and distinct separation between the areas, (for sanitary purposes). This was not the case here and it was not evident where the grill area began and the store stopped. Also, there was an overwhelming slightly perfumed odor in the air that appeared to have been sprayed to cover other odors or to give an air of freshness. As far as I am concerned this would never do because I don't believe in spraying in an area with an open grill. Also when I enter a place that might be preparing my food, I need to see and smell nothing but clean. I don't want to smell chemicals or cigarettes and I definitely don't want to feel as if I am walking through a haze. DEAL BREAKER! If you are feeling bold or lucky and want to try something from the grill, it is only available Monday through Saturday. Good luck with that!

I went over to the coffee machines and dispensed the liquid into my cup, which was light brown and had obvious dirt particles in it. I looked over to the cashier, who was intently discussing her personal life with a customer. I tried again with another type of coffee, and this liquid was dark green. Again, I looked to the attendant. Nothing. I walked to the counter, as if to ask a question. Nothing. She is still talking about her personal life. My fiance walks in, and I lightheartedly say to him, "You have GOT to see this! " I take him to see the "coffee" and the attendant dismissively says, "Oh, yeah. Those have cleaner in them. There's no coffee. " I tell her that maybe there should be a sign or something on the coffee dispensers to let people know this, so that no one will accidentally drink the cleaner. She shortly said, "Sorry... " as we walked out the door..... never to return again.
