Airy, light with plenty of seating. Hard working staff keep the place clean and the refreshments area well stocked.

More creams and lighter oaks used in the dinning room. It was a pleasant and nice change. The fam and I came here for a family get together and it was fine. I do frequent Moxies in other parts of the city frequently so the menu can get a tad tiring as its stayed pretty consistant over the last couple of years with some minor changes. I decided to try the beet salad which was new to the menu. It was large and it was topped with SO SO SOOOOOo many crispy beets, that they were all stained and stuck to my teeth and lips when I went to the restroom. I had no idea. It is not a "date friendly" salad. I also ordered the espresso martini which was $5.00. It was very potent and tasty, but it didn't come with 3 espresso beans on top which is supposed to be for luck. The hubby had the mahi mahi and I tried the mashed potatoes and they were delish. Service was to the point and not overbearing.

Two things I liked and will bring me back are: they are celiac friendly, and, have a 1 to 10 scale for the level of spice you want to have. We are are an extended family with some odd food allergies and food intolerances, so finding a restaurant that makes everyone happy is gold. I did spice level 2. I would try 4 the next time, as my dish ended up being good, but a bit bland. It was the XO dish. The person who had the best experience ordered the Pad Thai, level 10 spice. They found their meal to be perfect. I will note he has a very high heat tolerance. I had some Sashimi to start, and it was perfectly prepared. Decor is brown/black and gold with lots of windows. It's casual, but in a nice way. Overall everyone was happy and we will return.

Ambience is nice, it's pretty inside and on the darker side. The chairs/furniture can use an upgrade. The food unfortunately has not been the same. All the sauces have a similar taste. The pad Thai sauce was so thick and had way too much of it :( Same with the black bean. My daughter ordered a second round of avocado rolls, and it came out in less than a minute and was warm :/ It's heartbreaking because I truly appreciate all the waitresses hard work however I will not be going back.

We got the nachos to start, and i got the cobb salad, while my partner got the ribs. the nachos were good, although they were a little too salty. but i can appreciate that the chips seem to be fried in house, which is a bonus for sure. My partner said the ribs were fantastic. He really enjoyed the sauce. The cobb salad, while I really enjoyed the jammy egg, was really annoying to eat. It comes deconstructed (although i'm not sure that's the right word) and the lettuce isn't chopped.... which i found to be a bizarre choice. It's also garnished with what seemed to be a handful of dill. wasn't a huge fan of that.

We came here with the kids last week, and it was a great time. Service was fast, and again, it was quiet. Happy hour sweet potato fries and dip were amazing! Bite of brownie is always delicious.

D'Arcy McGee's has two locations in Ottawa: this one, and the one on Sparks Street. When I took a look at the menu, there were some appetizers that we wanted to get. However, they weren't serving anything any apps; just some of the main dishes. The confusion may have stemmed from the online menu pertaining solely to the Sparks location, which may have been why the airport menu was so sparse; I've come to expect that from airport restaurants. The fish and chips was the dish we ended up ordering. It's worth noticing that the dishes were quite overpriced for their serving size; again, to be expected in the airport. The fish was mediocre, and the fries relied on condiments and salt to be halfway decent. Service was fine as well. It can get pretty busy (writing this two years and three months since the start of the pandemic), so waiting times can get pretty long. As such, the atmosphere was fine; people mostly kept to themselves. Overall, I should lower my standard for airport restaurants.
