Sure, it's got a good location near Green Lake and they allow dogs. But what is missing from this apartment complex is good management and thoughtful allocation of resources.
The complex did a complete facade makeover (without telling those moving in to expect months under plastic tarp), but failed to update its VERY, VERY, VERY noisy pipes. If your neighbor showers at night, you'll be awoken to the loud sounds of tubas and trumpets---which are really the pipes within your walls.
Neighbors with dogs don't seem to let them "out" in time---stairwells to the outside are noxious with the smell of old dog pee, and outside the building, few owners pick up after their pets. (Though, it helps that the complex does offer free doggie bags for picking it up.)
In the winter, when snow fell for days and froze over, the complex refused to pay for shoveling of walkways or the uphill driveway, making navigating in, out, or around the complex dangerous.
When complaints are brought up, they are rarely addressed. Staff change frequently. New rules are constantly foisted on residents. All in all, there are much better places you could live in the Green Lake area and pay far less. read more
