The staff are super friendly, and they go out of their way to make the kids feel safe and comfortable. The prize tokens after seeing the dentist are a hit for my kids. After my first appointment though, I am (mostly) not dreading my follow up appointment! The building itself is straight out of Better Homes and Gardens magazine, very comfortable and clean with obvious aesthetic appeal that made me look at my own home decor in envy. They have a very comfortable waiting room with some fun things for anyone who might have some nervous kids - or adults who are kids at heart. The staff was very easy to talk to and professional. They answered my laundry list of questions, some of which probably toed the line on what is and what is not their actual responsibility. Special thanks to Sky who helped me feel calm and at home as we watched a cooking show on the tv above the patient chair (nice!). Lastly, the complete transparency during checkout was really a huge selling point. They showed me a complete breakdown for my follow up appointment so that I could make adjustments as needed and avoid any awkward sticker shock conversations. Thankfully, my insurance covered most of my appointments, but I know that is not always the case for everyone; the transparency during scheduling is telling of their business model! They first saw her at the west side location and we moved over to Fitchburg when she started to be exclusive to that location. They since then have opened an Eastside Location, but I refuse to change doctors and feel it is worth the drive 2x a year. Dr. Allison and her staff are so amazing. They are extremely pleasant to work with. I believe I only have been not happy with the customer service of the front desk once and we have visited at least 30x. My kids are almost to the age where they no longer will go here and I am so bummed because she is wonderful and wonderful with kids. Also, I was annoyed in the begging with it taking so long for my kids to get in for braces on referral. Mostly because my kids wanted before HS. The oldest of the 2 is dentally delayed so it has been rough... But after talking with tons of other parents and hearing how they were sent to early and had to get braces a 2nd time for their kids I was relieved.
