I was traumatized by several dentists and orthodontists not listening to me, not taking my pain into account, even later on as an adult. Dr Boucher and her assistants reconciled me with going to the dentist, and I am no longer scared. Not only do they explain everything, answer any and all questions I have, show me the X-rays and teach me to read them... They also have consistently been the most thorough and the most comprehensive dentists I have even been to. They truly treat your teeth and your oral health as an important part of your body health, not a separate one. Dr Boucher asked a series of questions regarding my sleep, my medications, and my work, that I was never asked before. Turns out, it was playing a role in a problem I have, and we're now able to fix it. The clinic is small but not stuffy or congested, and very comfortable. There are bright colors, plants, plenty of sunlight, and nature sounds playing very low in the background. If you have anxiety about medical and/or dentist care, this helps a great deal. If you don't, it'll still be very pleasant. Everything is extremely clean but still comfortable, and I always feel safe going there. Last but not least, the administrative workers are also friendly, never rushing me, yet efficient. Long story short: if you are scared of going the dentist, come to Dr Boucher for friendly yet rigorous, and empathetic care. If you aren't scared of the dentist, come to Dr Boucher anyway, for comprehensive and efficient care.

Saw Dr. Lee for my first appointment. They do a full set of x-rays here which I find a little annoying because I really think that a full set is unnecessary if no problems are found. Anyway, Dr. Lee was nice and I liked her. Then for the cleaning, Dr. Spiewak was the attending dentist (had teeth cleaned by hygienist). My dad is a dentist and I have chosen not to get my wisdom teeth removed because they are impacted but not coming in crooked but they are just hanging out under the gum. The dentist freaked out when I said that I wasn't removing them for now and he was like "OMG there's bacteria festering under there if you were my daughter I'd tell you to do it!!!" I've read the scholarly journals. There's not significant evidence that getting wisdom teeth out as a preventative measure is helpful. I've gone here for another cleaning and yet again Dr Spiewak has harassed me about the wisdom teeth. So overall, I liked Dr Lee but not the other dentist. If you choose to go here, consider saying that I referred you! We both get $20 gift cards if you're referred.

I adored Dr. Bruden and when he retired, I knew that he would not have sold his practice to Dr. Jean Piper if she weren't a wonderful person and a fine dentist. I can't remember how many years ago that occurred - maybe 25 years - but I remain a devoted patient of Dr. Jean, as do my family members. Dr. Jean and Rhonda, her hygienist, have set the tone for the office - grace, calm and friendliness. After my first appointment though, I am (mostly) not dreading my follow up appointment! The building itself is straight out of Better Homes and Gardens magazine, very comfortable and clean with obvious aesthetic appeal that made me look at my own home decor in envy. They have a very comfortable waiting room with some fun things for anyone who might have some nervous kids - or adults who are kids at heart. The staff was very easy to talk to and professional. They answered my laundry list of questions, some of which probably toed the line on what is and what is not their actual responsibility. Special thanks to Sky who helped me feel calm and at home as we watched a cooking show on the tv above the patient chair (nice!). Lastly, the complete transparency during checkout was really a huge selling point. They showed me a complete breakdown for my follow up appointment so that I could make adjustments as needed and avoid any awkward sticker shock conversations. Thankfully, my insurance covered most of my appointments, but I know that is not always the case for everyone; the transparency during scheduling is telling of their business model! I had very complicated and unique roots and he was so incredibly thorough that he fixed all of my roots and explained to me what was wrong! If I ever have to have another root canal, I hope I can see Dr. Katz again. After the root canal, I had questions and he explained everything in an easy to understand way. He even had pictures! I'm a nurse so I had a lot of medical questions Dr. Katz always had the time to answer my crazy questions! Also, I had a little bit of a child emergency right before I got there and everyone was understanding and thoughtful! Highly recommend this office!
