The building has restrooms, a concession stand for the baseball and football field, a picnic area and a road which winds close to the river and ends in a cul-de-sac. There is a baseball diamond, football field and soccer field. The dog park is on the other side of the fields and has shaded areas with benches for the two-legged park attendees while the four-legged ones get to run about. There is a kayak launch located at a small creek that enters the San Sebastian River, just south of the State Road 16 bridge. A pavilion is located at the entrance to the launching site. There is a play ground for toddlers (enclosed by a chain link fence) with a deck of soft, ground up tires to keep the kids safe. There are basketball courts. There is never a shortage of parking. There's even a wide open field on the side where you can play fetch with doggo. Best of all, the porta potties are BRAND NEW!!!! They are SO NICE. Honestly, I would have them in my own home. No shortage of tp, either. Will probably be the most pleasant surprise of your entire visit. Definitely a "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" amenity. You can't see the playground from the road (Oceanview), but it's adjacent to the mini golf, so pull in there, and they share a parking lot behind back. Red Bug Motor's Pizza is also adjacent to the playground. There are two playgrounds here, younger kids on right, big kids on left, when you enter from the parking lot. The huge "GA state law says we're not liable for death or injuries" signs are prominent, and creepy. Otherwise, the equipment is brand spanking new, and lots of fun. My (older) toddler was able to do almost every apparatus, and had a blast every visit. There are always kids coming and going from here so your little ones will find some playmates. Many parents let their kids roam free while they went to hang at the pizza deck, or play mini golf. Plenty of benches for parents to sit and keep an eye on kids, and trash cans for waste from snacks.
