Unfortunately they did not have an answering machine. I attempted to return the ripped dress the next day even though I'd detached the tags. I figured the number of items that I purchased, the amount of money that I had spent, the fact that I'd called as soon as I found out the dress was ripped, the fact that I was visiting from another state, and the fact that my daughter and I came back to purchase more items would have been enough to receive an exception to the return policy rule concerning detached tags. The manager, Pablo, was nasty, condescending, and kept a sh%t eating grin on his face when telling me that I could not receive an exchange. More importantly, I did not want a refund, but I wanted to exchange the rip dress for another dress. Although, I will never patronize this store again, I recommend that anyone purchasing items from this store to try on all items before purchase. Lastly, I would like to say that the cashiers that assist me the night that I purchased the items had great customer service etiquette. But she kept coming back showing me dresses that I really didn't like and I felt bad telling her I didn't like them. She kept following me around the store and I would've liked her to just step back and let me look without any pressure. And when I got a dress she took it away from me and took it to the changing area. When I approached the area she took it off the hanger to try on, which is fine BUT when I asked her how much the dress was again she got another hanger that was not the one my dress was hanging on and gave me the price of $89 when the dress was $59 (the prices are marked on the hanger). So be very careful when you pull a dress, look at the price before they take it from you to hold. Cause they might change hangers and give you a higher price than what it originally was. I did not take the dress and after I told her it was too expensive she did try to cut me a deal but I still didn't take it. There were other people there negotiating prices and it sounded like the staff was giving them discounts. So you might want to ask for a deal. Today, one of the employees made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I had my headphones on, and I was walking up and down the isles, looking for earrings for a trip coming up, and the employee came up and took my baskets stating I was not able to carry my basket around , I was a little confused since I had been there years with no issues. I typically don't pay attention to the employees when I'm there, but then I realized they were following me around like a hawk. Which I get it to an extent, but I wasn't doing anything suspicious I typically walk in the center of the isles and just look at everything. I only touched stuff if it's something I'm potentially interested in. No big bag I had a small fanny pack. What made it worse was that then I watched other people walking around with their baskets being able to freely shop. Maybe because I keep my headphones on and just look for what I'm looking for, but they felt a certain way. I don't go in corners of the stores or anything. I just go there to shop. Like I said, I have been going here for most of my adult life. I felt super uncomfortable and yucky after that. I will not be returning. It was a pure curiosity because of the balloon arch at the entrance. Me and my friend walked in and greeted by several employees. There were music and refreshments at the entrance and throughout the store. The store is well organized and OMG there's a huge selection of men's clothing at reasonable prices. I ditched Kohls, Marshall and Ross for Nordstrom Racks. I would never shop at those stores for clothes again. I bought a real leather belt and a Tommy Hilfiger t shirt on my first day. I went back to buy a hoochie daddy shorts. Hehehe. I joined the Nord Club to receive rewards. Because I know I'll be shopping here for all kinds of things.
