Anyhow, I scheduled a cleaning and went. There I was greeted by Dr. Maritza Merejo, a diminutive human with colossal skills. I was expecting a hygienist for the cleaning, but she did it herself! I found that perplexing and satisfying at once. She was very gentle and gave me a lot of good tips in regard to brushing and flossing. Did you know there is good brushing/flossing and also TOO MUCH??? I didn't, I guess I was overzealous on certain teeth and she saw it!!! She also had this cool tool with the X-Ray which utilized AI to point out areas of interest. (first time for me) Thankfully none of my interesting areas were cavities. Just some cracks and whatnot... I went back about a week later to fix a chip I've had on my front tooth for a minute and whatever she did, a composite of sorts, has stayed intact! Surprising to me because it tends to chip! They (front office and medical staff) answered all of my questions and specific needs and were so kind in doing so. They are efficient and don't try to upsell you. They provide you the care that you need and don't push anything further than that. The recommendations for my home care I received were doable and definitely something that has benefitted my dental health. I enjoy going to this dentist office and have a history of nervousness when going to the dentist. They are professional, clean, have not hurt me and ensure that I'm not uncomfortable. During my deep cleaning with Dr. Leila Jamshidi, the appointment felt very rushed. I've had deep…read morecleanings before, and they have always been much more thorough and taken considerably longer. One side of my mouth was completed in about 12-15 minutes. When I returned for the other side, I experienced significant discomfort during the procedure. Dr. Jamshidi told me she had accidentally poked a blood vessel and that I might feel jittery for a few minutes, which would pass. While I appreciated the explanation, I was surprised that there wasn't any acknowledgment or apology for what had happened or for the discomfort I experienced. A couple of weeks later, I returned to discuss my concerns and saw Dr. Wang. Unfortunately, that visit wasn't much better. I felt my concerns were dismissed, as I was repeatedly told the deep cleaning had gone well and that there was nothing wrong with my gums. I mentioned that gargling with warm salt water may have helped relieve some of the discomfort afterward, but my point was that I didn't expect to need home remedies after a routine dental procedure. I left feeling unheard and unsatisfied with the care I received. My wife also had a similar experience. During her appointment with Dr. Leila Jamshidi, she felt that the dental hygienist was more thorough and attentive than the dentist, which reinforced our shared impression that the quality and consistency of care have declined. What made these experiences especially disappointing is that I had previously been treated by Dr. Mathai, who was always thorough, attentive, and took the time to explain everything. The difference in care and communication was very noticeable. We've been patients at this practice for years, and its convenient location is one of the reasons we've continued to come back. That's what makes this so disappointing. It's genuinely sad that, after so many years, we've reached the point where we feel we need to find another dentist. I've also noticed what seems to be a high turnover of providers, which has made the patient experience feel less consistent. While the office has added nice touches like a beverage center, amenities like that don't make up for a decline in the quality of care and service. The one bright spot throughout my visits has been Mackenzie. She has always been warm, welcoming, and kind when checking patients in and scheduling appointments. She consistently made me feel comfortable and valued, and I truly appreciated her professionalism. After two experiences that left me questioning the quality of care--and seeing my wife have a similar experience--I've decided it's time to find another dentist. I hope this feedback is taken in the spirit it's intended: as constructive feedback that helps improve communication, consistency, and the overall patient experience.

I used to dread going to dental appointments because of the bad experiences I had at previous dental offices. However, ever since I switched to this practice, I have never looked back. I've been coming here for the past 12-13 years, and that alone says a lot about the quality of care they provide. Dr. La and Dr. Cheng are both professional, friendly, and genuinely caring. They make you feel comfortable and take the time to talk with you about more than just your dental concerns. They'll even share travel recommendations if you're planning a trip to places they've visited, which I always find helpful and enjoyable. The office is always clean and welcoming. I don't think they have a receptionist or at least I haven't seen one since I started coming here but everything still runs smoothly.
