I've always been scared of the dentist but Dr.Su changed my perspective! Towards his dental work - he always shows care and precision. I felt ZERO pain during a whole hour of work with him. Had an emergency on Thursday night, left a message, connected and got an appointment on Friday end of day. Got a call back and due to a cancel, I got in at 3. New patient, no insurance. Everyone was super careful about covid safety, and also very nice. Office was very clean. Dr. Su remembered my mom had been there and gave me a discount on the work I needed. He did a thorough exam (with x-rays), and recommended three ways to go. Fortunately, I was able to get the work done same day. This is a great dentist if you are fearful of dental work. He explains each step before he does it and tells you what you expect. I had zero pain during or after. The office is located in a high rent area and the cost was very reasonable. read more

I had an appointment elsewhere but my daughter convinced me to cancel and check Dr. Su, I am very happy with the service I got. The office has state of the art equipment, no more old X-ray machines or ancient technology. The office is clean, well lit and well maintained. I'm a new patient of Dr. Su and all I can say is I'm impressed! And usually I am the kind of patient that avoids seeing the dentist if possible. From annual checkup to a deep cleaning and a cavity seal, he makes sure his patient is taken care of. Two second opinions after Su's didn't match his treatment plan, which makes me believe his was inflated. He seemed more interested in overdiagnosing so he could maximize my insurance fee schedule. He claimed I needed 10 (two-surface) fillings, which would require permanent damage to my tooth structure. The actual filling work for an *aggresssive* treatment was four one-surface fillings, and some of those were just pitted indentations. Su also suggested four quadrants of deep cleaning, despite the fact that I had no visible interproximal calculus from the radiograph. I was searching for a doctor with positive reviews, and I thought he would be a good choice. I don't believe he's actually interested in patient tooth health. Find someone that'll preserve your teeth. read more

Had a great experience (as much as a dentist visit can be) at Su's office. The staff was very nice, and they agreed to let me in with an emergency in less than a day. The doctor was able to make a fix fast, and I am happy with the result! They are very carful with COVID, making sure there is a small number of people in the office, and they make sure you sanitize hands and mouth before you can start, which I appreciate. read more

I had an appt today for 3 fillings. His staff is very friendly and his personality in general puts you at ease. He spends time to explain what he will do and as he proceeds with the procedure, he tells you what he will do each step of the way. When it came to numbing, I hate the needle since it's usually the most painful part of going to the dentist. He did it in a way where I barely felt the prick and pinch of the needle which is great! Dr. Su is the best dentist I ever had! I have trusting issue with dentist due to some bad experiences I had in the past. When I was told that I need crowns for my front teeth, it took me a long time to find a dentist I felt comfortable with to do them for me. My first visit with Dr. Su was GREAT. He was such a kind, understanding and knowledgeable dentist. After my first visit with him, he told me in detail what to expect and how long it will take to have them completed. He was never pushy and very patient answering all my questions. My first two visit, he didn't like how the crowns and colors look on me. Even tho they look fine to me, I was okay with them. He insist to have them sent back to the lab and have them redo it. He say he know its the front teeth and they will show when I smile, so he want to make sure they look as natural as possible. His staff is very nice and knowable. They can explain to you what your insurance cover and give you a estimate of how much you have to pay. And if you have questions, you can always email them. They always reply back. As for those that say this place ask for more payment from you; the estimate they give you is JUST a estimate of what they think they will receive from your insurance. I always get a statement from my insurance whenever a treatment is done and it tells me exactly how much insurance pay and how much I owe the dentist. If you have doubt, you can always ask them for a "itemize" receipts which tells you exactly how much insurance pay, how much you pay and your remaining balance. Contrary to most beliefs about fear of going to the dentist, I had a wonderful experience at Dr. Su's Dental Office! Shame on me, it had been 5 years since I'd gone to the dentist. No excuses.. Just procrastination. I always try to take good care of my teeth and pride myself in never having had a cavity. (WOO!) His staff was very friendly and the office is very bright, clean, and welcoming. I was helped by Alice and she was SUPER patient and helpful with all the insurance information. All of their equipment is up-to-date technology that works quickly and efficiently. My x-Ray took less than 2 minutes and all the pictures were downloaded directly to the monitor at our station.
