I've been going to Dr. Peter Su's practice for over 10 years and he has been a very attentive and helpful dentist. Very friendly and cares about his patients. read more

The only dentist I trust. I have a major fear of going to the dentist, and this is by far the best experience I've had and really felt comfortable in the environment. They are so patient, friendly, and do take their time to remember their patients. His staff is professional and friendly, that it makes me at ease when I walk through that door. Thank you read more

Dr.Su is amazing! Very funny and nice. He always takes time to remember his patients as well and makes his best to make you comfortable. I've always been scared of the dentist but Dr.Su changed my perspective! Towards his dental work - he always shows care and precision. I felt ZERO pain during a whole hour of work with him. He drilled and poked me my terth and still felt nothing! He constantly checks up on you to make sure as well. Also his workers and dental assistances are awesome! They remember me and always laughs at my crappy jokes. All in all, Dr.Su's dental clinic is possibly the chillest and most welcoming place I've been in. read more

Best dentist I've had so far. Good at teach preventative dental medicine. Five star!!

Had an emergency on Thursday night, left a message, connected and got an appointment on Friday end of day. Got a call back and due to a cancel, I got in at 3. New patient, no insurance. Everyone was super careful about covid safety, and also very nice. Office was very clean. Dr. Su remembered my mom had been there and gave me a discount on the work I needed. He did a thorough exam (with x-rays), and recommended three ways to go. Fortunately, I was able to get the work done same day. This is a great dentist if you are fearful of dental work. He explains each step before he does it and tells you what you expect. I had zero pain during or after. The office is located in a high rent area and the cost was very reasonable. read more

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Su for anyone wanting to receive good dental care! Dr. Su has always been extremely friendly and informative about my oral health. He takes the time to explain what is going on inside my mouth with images to help me better understand. He is a very patient and professional dentist. He always has a gentle touch and ensures that I am comfortable with what he does. His staff is also very welcoming and proficient. They always explain to me about my insurance and are easy to talk to if I have any questions. The office is very homey and clean. The instruments and x-rays are all very modern and I always enjoy that I can watch television when I am in the chair! read more

Dr. Su's dental office is clean and the staff is professional, friendly and caring. I had an appointment elsewhere but my daughter convinced me to cancel and check Dr. Su, I am very happy with the service I got. The office has state of the art equipment, no more old X-ray machines or ancient technology. The office is clean, well lit and well maintained. The dental chairs have tv monitors on the ceiling to help minimize stress. There is street parking, M Line runs in front the office. read more

please believe me dr. Su is the best dentist in the world!! I'm very rare to write review on yelp, after 3 time visiting , 2 time do fillings , I'm highly recommend Dr. Su to everyone! He's not only a professional doctor but also a good person! He cares his patient, always tell you what the next step is, making you relax. I had never met such a good dentist before, I'm not afraid to see dentist any more. I almost didn't feel any pain when he's filling my teeth. Unbelievable... the girls Janice and Tina , they are good assistants too! Super nice people in this place. read more

I'm a new patient of Dr. Su and all I can say is I'm impressed! And usually I am the kind of patient that avoids seeing the dentist if possible. From annual checkup to a deep cleaning and a cavity seal, he makes sure his patient is taken care of. He talks to you while he does the long procedure so you aren't that anxious and are aware of what his doing. His staff are all friendly and very personal. Easy to make appointments for the most part! read more

Two second opinions after Su's didn't match his treatment plan, which makes me believe his was inflated. He seemed more interested in overdiagnosing so he could maximize my insurance fee schedule. He claimed I needed 10 (two-surface) fillings, which would require permanent damage to my tooth structure. The actual filling work for an *aggresssive* treatment was four one-surface fillings, and some of those were just pitted indentations. Su also suggested four quadrants of deep cleaning, despite the fact that I had no visible interproximal calculus from the radiograph. I was searching for a doctor with positive reviews, and I thought he would be a good choice. I don't believe he's actually interested in patient tooth health. Had a great experience (as much as a dentist visit can be) at Su's office. The staff was very nice, and they agreed to let me in with an emergency in less than a day. The doctor was able to make a fix fast, and I am happy with the result! They are very carful with COVID, making sure there is a small number of people in the office, and they make sure you sanitize hands and mouth before you can start, which I appreciate. read more

Dr.Su is awesome! He is very friendly and pleasant. He explains procedures very clearly and ensures that you are comfortable while the treatment is in progress. His office space is very clean and welcoming. His staff is very professional and friendly. He is our family dentist now and we are all very happy with him. read more

My new favorite dentist! Cannot wait to come back! The front desk and assistants were all extremely helpful and nice throughout my whole visit. Dr. Su was very knowledgeable and discussed everything clearly so I had a full understanding of what was happening. He works efficiently and doesn't keep his patients waiting. Will definitely recommend to all my family and friends! read more

Have been a patient of Dr. Su's dentistry for about a year. I walked into his practice in pain and with a "train wreck" in progress. One by one he treated and made sure each issue was addressed. He clearly laid out the treatment plan and what the priorities would be. Each of his referrals for other prep work (root cancal, implants, etc.) were all excellent. His staff is professional & friendly. Highly recommend you check this place out. You won't regret it! Thank Dr. Su & staff for giving my teeth 'new life'! read more

People select a dentist in their local area due to creature comfort. SF is quite a distance for me to drive just to get my teeth cleaned. But let me tell you, it is worth the drive. I was recommended to try Dr. Su and I have been with my dentist for 20+ yrs and now I'm switching. Your teeth is an investment and Dr. Su does an outstanding job in cleaning my teeth using state of the art technology. I haven't felt this clean ever and having good hygiene is important in overall health and well-being. Dr. Su answers all of my questions, staff friendly, good location. read more

I've heard it before. "oh you owe this MUCH more because your insurance doesn't cover it". I've been coming here for years and have been voicing myself on always getting the price before I get any service done. Once again, it must be greed on the new year, where patients are the ones to be victims. Already spending more than $600 for rootcanal/crown; now asking for another $200+ because of a ludicrous excuse/reasoning. On this new year, your greed of wanting to gain my $200 just lost yourself 2 patients. read more

I had an appt today for 3 fillings. His staff is very friendly and his personality in general puts you at ease. He spends time to explain what he will do and as he proceeds with the procedure, he tells you what he will do each step of the way. When it came to numbing, I hate the needle since it's usually the most painful part of going to the dentist. He did it in a way where I barely felt the prick and pinch of the needle which is great! Overall: he takes good care of your teeth. :) read more

You are awesome Dr. Su! I had 4 fillings at Dr. Su's office and am completely satisfied with it. A+++ read more

Tried Dr. Su for 3.5 years. Waste of Money & time. Not honest with quotes. Nor is he efficient with client's best interest. I left his office for the final time 3-4 months ago very unpleased at his unprofessional behavior and told him that I would yelp my experience. He didn't have any positive comments during the 3 years of me going to him, which seemed odd. read more

Peter Su and his team made my visit look like a Sunday-school picnic. It was really fast, non-stressful. Every step was explained to me in details, so it was pretty clear even for non-specialist with average English language skills. Very friendly and professional, highly recommended! read more

Dr. Su is the best dentist I ever had! I have trusting issue with dentist due to some bad experiences I had in the past. When I was told that I need crowns for my front teeth, it took me a long time to find a dentist I felt comfortable with to do them for me. My first visit with Dr. Su was GREAT. He was such a kind, understanding and knowledgeable dentist. After my first visit with him, he told me in detail what to expect and how long it will take to have them completed. He was never pushy and very patient answering all my questions. My first two visit, he didn't like how the crowns and colors look on me. Even tho they look fine to me, I was okay with them. He insist to have them sent back to the lab and have them redo it. He say he know its the front teeth and they will show when I smile, so he want to make sure they look as natural as possible. His staff is very nice and knowable. They can explain to you what your insurance cover and give you a estimate of how much you have to pay. And if you have questions, you can always email them. They always reply back. As for those that say this place ask for more payment from you; the estimate they give you is JUST a estimate of what they think they will receive from your insurance. I always get a statement from my insurance whenever a treatment is done and it tells me exactly how much insurance pay and how much I owe the dentist. If you have doubt, you can always ask them for a "itemize" receipts which tells you exactly how much insurance pay, how much you pay and your remaining balance. If you are looking for a good, honest and knowledgeable dentist who treat you like family and not just a patient,I highly recommend Dr. SU. read more

Dr. Su has been my dentist for the past 3yrs and I will definitely keep him around. His assistants/receptionists are super nice and sweet. His office is very clean and high tech, everything seems to be up to date. I had quite a few amalgams replaced with composites and they look wonderful! No sensitivity, nada. Had a few treatments done before and everything has turned out perfect. Dr. Su would always check to make sure that I'm comfortable during these treatments. I am very impressed and satisfied with his work. read more

5 Stars for the first Dentist to sway my opinion on how scary cleaning your teeth can be! Yes, I'm 27 and still afraid of the dentist. I have had a fear since childhood and cannot stand the probing, picking and scraping. Well, if you are anything like me, please do yourself a favor and get your teeth serviced by Dr. Su and his team. He has a clean office, great staff and is super personable. I told him about my fears and he was more than accommodating. He is very gentle and goes step-by-step, per your approval of course. I will continue to come back for my cleanings and recommend him to anyone searching for the perfect dentist. read more

Contrary to most beliefs about fear of going to the dentist, I had a wonderful experience at Dr. Su's Dental Office! Shame on me, it had been 5 years since I'd gone to the dentist. No excuses.. Just procrastination. I always try to take good care of my teeth and pride myself in never having had a cavity. (WOO!) His staff was very friendly and the office is very bright, clean, and welcoming. I was helped by Alice and she was SUPER patient and helpful with all the insurance information. All of their equipment is up-to-date technology that works quickly and efficiently. My x-Ray took less than 2 minutes and all the pictures were downloaded directly to the monitor at our station. Dr. Su and Alice got to work on my cleaning, which wasn't painful and didn't take long at all. Afterwards, he explained what was done in detail and what still needed to be done. Scheduled my next appointments already. All in all, great experience, found it on yelp, and definitely going back again!! read more

I love Dr. Su! I am super picky about dentists. My dad was my dentist growing up and I even spent the majority of my teen years working in his office. Ironically, I have REALLY bad teeth, so I've had a TON of dental work done. Dr. Su is a great. I've recommended friends to him and they've been very happy as well. He's got a great sense of humor, his staff are great, and he does a very good job of explaining everything before he does anything and he's really professional. I don't know what that other reviewer was talking about. I've never had a bad experience with him and I would HIGHLY recommend him. read more

Dr Su has been the trusted dentist for our whole family for years. I can judge the professionalism, competence and ethics of a practice quite well as I am in the healthcare and surgical field myself. I can say that his dental work, techniques refined over years practice and materials used is excellent and far exceeds the quality of many other practices. His office uses top grade equipment and great attention is paid to infection control and patient safety. These are qualities in a doctor that I always look for first. Beyond that, good communication skills and patient rapport are important. He is always fair in his assessments and treatment recommendations. read more

Dr. Su is a great dentist. Just moved to the city and needed a dentist, luckily got referred to Dr. Su. He made me feel completely comfortable the first time I met him. He was talkative, informative, and cares about his patients. Went in for cleaning and examination of my oral health. Got my teeth x-rayed after him knowing that my wisdom teeth are still in there. He carefully explained about my teeth and gum condition and suggested ways to improve my brushing and flossing habits. He was gentle and made this my most comfortable cleaning yet. His staff are also nice and friendly. Thanks and will be visiting again soon! read more
