Dr Teo has been our dentist since he started practicing. We went to visit his office when it's newly opened and immediately become comfortable with his personality and knowledge. When he left his old office, I was saddened and good thing he came back to our neighborhood. He is proficient and gentle with my elderly mother. He takes his time to explain the process. Lily is also very efficient with handling my paperwork and schedule. I have recommended him to my friends and would continue to recommend his practice. The office location is also close to transportation and parking is available. read more

I've had a flawless experience at Dr. Manaois. Starting with the office experience, Lilly was super helpful and efficient from the first time I gave them a call to follow up appointments and change of insurance providers. She's on top of things and made coordination with the insurance company super smooth. She's fast and has immaculate communication always telling me exactly what to do and clearly explaining benefits which are available to me. Dr. Manaois is exceptionally talented and great at his job. He makes patients feel comfortable, he's kind and caring. He will always explain things in a simplified way and I felt completely at ease with him. He's super skilled and I was super comfortable through all of my appointments. The facility is located in a great part of the city. They have parking and public transportation right outside. The equipment and client are very well maintained. Everything is super clean and modern. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Especially if you have anxiety around going to a dentist. It's literally the full package and perfect experience throughout! 10/10 read more

Dr Manaois is a kind and thoughtful dentist. He takes the time to explain what is going on, what are the options, and what he would do. Highly recommend! Also great experience for kids as he has chairs with tv shows! read more

I highly recommend this dentist! He is extremely nice and informative. His staff, especially the receptionist, are all very friendly as well. I've never had to wait longer than 5min in the waiting room and appointments are easily scheduled. The office is in an older building but it is always clean. I've been here twice for cleanings and I've had great experiences every time. Under my insurance, I have to go elsewhere for wisdom teeth extractions and invisalign, but Dr. Manaois gave great recommendations. read more

The bay area is lucky to have a dentist like him. His work ethic is second to none, and he would go great lengths just to accommodate my parents before their insurance ends. I find it so touching that he offered to come outside normal office hours if he couldn't find a slot, and because my dad (who works graveyard shift) would normally be sleeping in the day--how considerate of him! And the most remarkable of all, Doc Teo remained patient and understanding despite my dad being a little too difficult. He is finicky on the fit of his new dentures, and for some reason, couldn't immediately tell what's uncomfortable until he'd worn them a few hours later, leading to many sessions of adjustments. We appreciate his professionalism. It's also worth mentioning how the entire staff is just so nice. Lily at the front desk is amazing, professional and organized. She listens to our concern and kind enough to find a suitable schedule for us. The dental assistant (too shy to ask her name) is also friendly, warm and sensitive to needs. She would always offer me a chair and ask me if I would like to come inside the treatment area to accompany my anxious mom or dad. This clinic deserve 5 stars! No wonder my brother highly recommended them to us. There is also plenty of parking space behind the building which is great. read more

Great and personable dentist. Tells you how it is and takes care of business. Lily the receptionist is also very friendly and my whole family actually enjoys their visits when they have to go. I'm so glad my insurance takes them! read more

Our whole family now goes to see Dr Manaois. Great practice that I highly recommend. Very friendly and professional staff. Great with communication and reminders. Dr Manaois is just an awesome person. Gets to know you and genuinely cares about your oral health. Easy to talk to and calming which makes for an anxiety free visit every time. read more

The receptionist Lily is rude. The dentist is friendly, however, the service isn't that great. Went like 3 times, teeth were never properly cleaned. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Manaois since he took over Dr. Shaw's practice (the former owner of the current dentist practice Dr. M owns) and cannot say enough great things about him! I absolutely adore Dr. M and think he's a wonderful dentist! Clean office. Organized. Timely. Will be there for you in the event of an emergency. Despite my wonderful things I have to say about Dr. M, I'm giving it a 4 stars and an not sure I'm comfortable returning to the office based solely on the receptionist Lily. Lily has been there FOREVER and while typically nice/organized/professional, when I called to schedule my last appointment told me I "better" show up to my appointments and that my "history" of not showing up to appointments was "not acceptable. " "If I book this appointment, you absolutely have to be there ." It was said in a very demeaning, degrading, and just flat out rude tone. I've NEVER missed a dentist appointment in my LIFE... I will say, I do call to schedule appointments more towards every 6 months when I'm due as I'm not sure of my college schedule... But that made me EXTREMELY uncomfortable and it was so uncalled for... I never canceled my appointment before, but I did cancel the next day because the thought of being faced with such a rude lady gave me anxiety. If Lily wasn't there, I'd happily schedule an appointment. But as a long time customer, I'm extremely disappointed in how I was treated by this dental office. read more

Dr. Manaois patched up my front tooth 13 years ago (when I was 14). I had an accident and chipped the corner of my tooth a couple years prior and was very self-conscious about it. My pediatric dentist refused to touch it and after switching to Dr. Manaois, not only did he offer to fix it immediately, he did everything he could to make sure it was affordable for my family. Dr. Manaois made me feel totally at ease, and I often think back about how grateful I am that he helped me during an age where I was so much more sensitive about my appearance. To this day I haven't had any issues with the patch he put on, and am so so so grateful. Even though it's been so many years, my friend was recently asking if anyone knew of dentists who could help with the same issue, so I had to come and leave a review for others. Thanks Dr. Manaois! read more

I haven't been to a dentist in a while until I started seeing Dr. Manaois and his dental hygienists. Each time I go there for a cleaning, I am so happy with how thorough it is I wait as long as I can before eating or drinking. The staff are friendly and Dr. Manaois has a great sense of humor. I definitely feel like a human being when I'm there. I'm glad I stumbled upon his page through my benefits portal. read more

I highly recommend this dentist. I found him for both my parent's cleaning because they live close to his office. My parents are very satisfied with his work. Everyone in the office is super friendly and nice. If I can, I would give him 6 stars. read more

Had an appointment scheduled and my insurance verified with their office well in advance. On the day of the appointment, they call me and say they're not able to take my insurance (Aetna) due to issues with their membership in that insurance network. read more

There's the dentist recommendation you get from someone who's had few, if any, dental problems. Then there's the one you get from someone who's had many dental issues. I'm part of the latter group. Dr. Manaois is the best dentist I've ever been to. Period. And his staff exemplifies kind, courteous, and professional behavior. He does not charge an arm and a leg for his work - no shady dentist behavior here. On top of that, he goes out of his way for you as if you're giving him an arm and a leg. No joke. I recommend him to everyone. read more

Woke up one morning with a toothache... Called this office and they took me in as an emergency appointment with no hassles.... The front desk did so much to accommodate me and basically did all the work for me regarding insurance and prev dental records... What I hate most is new patient info forms and theirs was ONE page which made me happier... In one visit, he solved my issues and even talked to me about other things we can do to improve my dental problems..... Ie; Invisalign or braces.... Dr. Manaois is a great dentist... Staff was great and he was very gentle and attentive! I hate going to the dentist but he made my visit pleasant. I wouldn't go to anyone else. FYI, they send you texts and email reminders for your appointments, and there's free parking! read more

Highly recommend!!! Great family dentist. Always feel so well taken care of. So professional, very welcoming & warm, and high quality care!

Is it possible to LIKE going to the dentist? Si! Se Puede!! Dr. Teodor Manaois loves what he does and it shows in his work and how he treats his patients. From the time we showed up to the time we left, we were informed about each step in the process, what options we had, and his recommendations. We never felt pressured to make a decision on the spot, which I've experienced at other dental offices. I've gone to other dental offices and have left with a weird feeling...like have you ever gone to a mechanic for one issue, then the mechanic tells you there are actually more issues, but you're not sure if it's actually true, and you leave with that feeling like you got swindled? I've left my past dental offices wondering if i really needed that work done. Not with Dr. Manaois. He told me straight up what his recommendations are, how necessary the work was, and what the possible outcomes are. I felt very comfortable discussing the options and what to expect, never felt uneasy which is new to me based on past experiences. (I just got a text message from Dr. Manaois following up on today's cleaning and checking if my gums were ok! who does that nowadays? now that's what I call great CUSTOMER SERVICE!) I am so impressed with Dr. Manaois' work that I've already made an appointment for my kids, who'll be switching over from the dentist that's worked on their teeth since birth. He has a promotion going on for referrals that you can win a Kindle Fire or one of many gift certificates. So if you're reading my review (which I know a lot of you in Yelp land do) please, please, please mention that I, Ray R. (or even Ramon Ruiz), referred you and I promise I'll treat you out to eat if we win a gift certificate! One last plus on the long list of plusses - Dr. Manaois is a HUGE 49ers/Giants/Warriors fan!! Check out the SF Giants championship patch on his lab coat! read more

Awesome dentist. My old dentist left this location and now I go here. Really awesome staff and very helpful. All my dental needs are met when I come here. Definitely a 5 star facility in my opinion. The parking could be better but I can deal with it. read more

What a great experience! Dr. Manaois is very nice, down to earth and relaxed. He not going to take your insurance for all its worth, I felt as his approach is "if its not broken no reason to fix it" and when it is broken he makes you feel very comfortable. The receptionist Lilly is also very sweet - a mix up about my appointment I felt so bad but she was able to find me an appointment with in a few days. Bless You Lilly. I highly recommend Dr. Manaois (Teo) and his office. Tell em' Bryan P sent you =) read more

I was so scared to go to another dentist until I found Dr. Manaois. He is literally the best dentist ever. Every staff member there was also very professional and friendly. From the minute I made my appointment to walking in, seeing the dentist and leaving, I felt very comfortable and welcomed. Everything was explained thoroughly to me, every step of the way. He is also very personable and made me feel at ease. Best of all, I didn't feel any pain. I'll be excited to come back. read more

Amazing dentist! I tend to have between 5-10 dentist appointment every year so a great dentist is essential for me. After an almost year long search through shady dentists, Dr. Manaois was recommended to me by a co-worker. He is honest, skilled, friendly, empathetic and professional. His prices are fair and has free parking in the building's private lot. read more

The best dentist Office my husband and I have ever been to. The whole entire staff is great and makes you feel like you are with family. They were very accommodating in our situation. My husband and I had back to back appts and We brought our 3 year old with us so we could take turns watching her. But of course she wanted to stay with me most of the time and they were very accommodating about letting her watch what the dentist was doing to her mommy and daddy. They Gave her toys as her dentist visit even though she wasn't a patient and even gave her snacks. They are so knowledgeable and do great work and explain everything they are doing to you and what your X-ray shows etc. I'm so happy we found our lifetime dentist! read more

Let me start by saying how much I hate the dentist! I thought I had a cavity and needed to see a dentist in SF. I am originally from houston and had not seen a dentist in my area since moving here. I searched and searched for someone that I would feel good about seeing. I called Dr. Teo's office and was able to make an appointment that day! The office was easy to find, and the parking lot was a nice addition specially in San Francisco. The whole staff made me feel welcomed and comfortable. I have never felt so comfortable in a dentist office before. Dr. Teo and I laughed like two old friends. We got to know each other pretty well and his assistant was warm and kind. I walked out with the greatest feeling. The feeling of finding a new lifetime dentist! I would recommend Dr. Teo too anyone that would listen! He even sent me an email the next day to check in on me and to see if my family was doing good (they are all still in houston during the flood). Please, do yourself a favor and make an appointment with Dr. Teo. You won't regret it! read more

I hardly do reviews but this is well deserved. Dr Manaois is very nice, personable, and professional. I would highly recommend him, especially to those who are fearful of getting any dental work like me. He makes you feel at ease greeting you with a genuine warm smile and a firm hand shake while you check in the office. He has a great personality making you feel comfortable while he explains what he will be doing, so as to ease your mind and helps you understand the process. I had a cracked filling and tooth last night and his office was able to accommodate me today during his own lunch time. This says a lot how he loves his job and cares for people. Both my husband and son had nothing but great things to say about him as well about their experiences. Lily, the receptionist, was very nice and helpful as well. I'm so happy to have finally found our family dentist!! read more

Thee BEST Dentist with the most sweetest and very helpful staff ever!!! I've never ever enjoyed going to the Dentist. All I could think about were those crazy needles and lots of drilling (buzz buzz buzzzzzz) eeek...but now since becoming a patient of Dr. Manaois I find myself excited to keep going back! I was referred to Dr. Manaois by a friend. When I had called to inquire I had spoken to Ann, his Front Desk Coordinator. OMG! Ann is sooooooo sweet...so professional, incredibly helpful and very genuine. She was more than willing to answer any questions I had and I had quite a bit...she's super great! I went ahead and scheduled a consultation. Dr. Manaois had looked at my teeth and had suggested that I get certain things done. It's nice because I actually needed fillings and such...but because he overlooked my teeth thoroughly I didn't even need to explain a thing. He was very clear on what I needed done first, why and what the costs would be and there was absolutely no pressure whatsoever. Afterwards we went ahead and set up appointments. Dr Manaois has done such a great job thus far. He is very gentle and it shows how much he really loves his job by his work and how he treats his patients. I'm so glad I was referred to him. Highly recommended! Get your consultation today :) read more

I accidentally enrolled in the wrong Aetna DMO plan for this year and felt so desperate finding a good primary care dentist. What a relief and luck when I finally find Dr. Manaois in the DMO plan. I've been here twice and will come here for future dental work. He is very professional and considerate. He only recommends and performs treatments I absolutely need. I feel his approach is to do as minimal as possible to fix the issue, instead of trying to sell aggressive and expensive treatments for the money. Other staff at his office are also super friendly. I highly recommend him! Thanks, Dr. Manaois! read more

Dr. Manaois is definitely 5 star. After going to a scam dentist, I found Dr. Manaois who is totally professional and customer service oriented. A great, trustworthy experience. My implant is finished. I love it! It was an easy, well explained process. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This man doesnt only know what he's doing with teeth but he is an honest dude. I came here for the first time a year and a half ago with teeth more crooked than Lombard Street. Now a year and a half later I'm finally ready for my commercial shoot for crest tooth paste. I only had 15 cavities and they all got filled without having to do any root canals. He is also a big Niner fan and that is a huge plus. Thank you Dr. M for making me be able to smile again while showing teeth. read more

We are so happy that we found Dr. Manaois! Because we're self-employed, we don't have employer-sponsored dental insurance.
