After many years avoiding the dentist, I started coming to see Dr. Hing & Dr. Watters at their old location on 19th Ave, conveniently located down the street from my house. Dr. Watters got me through my root planing and the staff set me up with regular checkups and x-rays. They took very good care of me and my teeth. I was bummed when they moved, because it's very nice to walk to the dentist. When I saw their new offices on Monterey, I understood why they moved. This is the most beautiful dentist office you will ever visit. No detail was missed, it's a classy joint. Everything is the newest, shiniest, best of the best. Including the addition of Dr. Choi. I've seen him a few times now and he is just a wonderful dentist. We always have a great time, my cleaning takes an hour and I walk out feeling great. It's been quite a few years now and I really can't imagine going anywhere else. They also have the best selection of magazines I have ever seen in a medical office. I had some crazy child hood trauma at the dentist including fainting in the chair and having piece of a chipped tooth fall out after a cavity filling. But Dr Hing and his staff are super thoughtful, gentle, and extremely detail oriented. They will never let you walk away unhappy with your care. Even with my horrible tmj/tmd, I can still walk away pain free after a filling or cleaning. I don't mind cleanings now, I actually like them and think it feels like a gum massage. Ohh la la. Taking care of teeth is difficult but important, and it's crucial to have a competent dental team supporting you. I mean, I want to be able to eat with my own teeth when I'm 60 years old!!! I've been going here for a few years now, including through a pregnancy where they were gentle with my gums and advised me on how to take care of my dental hygiene while pregnant (hormones can cause him sensitivity). There is "good, efficient" and there there is extraordinary and ingregrity. Adrian does his best work daily; gives up his free time for those who are in need, and had a long journey with me re: invisiline, from making the trays, designing them, to the retainers, to the having to re-order lost trays, delivering these to my home personally.... the list is endless. I do not believe there are many ppl like him out there. I just know this. I recently had dental implant surgery with Dr.Jennifer Watters at St. Francis Denistry in San Fransisco. She is the most kind and compassionate and thorough periodontist. and a wonderful human being. She is meticulous in her work. Her entire staff was wonderful, and professional. and made me feel calm, comfortable and at ease during the entire procedure.
