It's not fun to be sick and bloated and sore and in pain and not know why. I had been searching for an answer for a couple years and finally, with Dr. Hunt's expertise, found out what was wrong. He is gracious, kind, patient, loving and God fearing. He is an expert in his field and I am so blessed to have him in my corner. My cancer was rare and aggressive and scared the hell out of me, but Dr. Hunt walked me through all the choices and decisions that I had to face and gave me nothing but honest and bold answers to all my questions. His staff is caring and sweet. They always were supportive and generous with their time, never making me feel I was a pain in the butt. I cannot recommend him, or his staff, highly enough. Dr. Hunt will always be a very special person in my life.

As the severity of my pain continued to grow worse.I had no quality of life or desire to keep pushing back from just giving up. Dr. Hall has been able to determine where much of my pain has been coming from and has with a few tests been able to help me feel like a human being again. I actually want to do things now. Dr. Hall provides documented findings to support his diagnosis and helps to educate you on how to help yourself. Dr. Hall is concerned and truly cares about his patients and he desires to make you feel better. I have been shocked, his attitude and approach is an unknown concept in the medical profession of today. I admit I was.skeptical at first but I feel so much better that I am a believer. It's unfortunate that he does not except most insurances and some of the tests he needs are not covered by any insurances. The out of pocket expense for test/medicines with insurance has been closed to $1200. But considering, I now feel human and actually look forward to doing things today and planning for tomorrow it was worth every penny. If you have mysterious aches and pains, and feel like you just can't go on one more day and no doctors seems to be able to determine the cause, considered investing in yourself and make an appointment to see Dr. Hall. He looks me dead in the face says what to you want me to do. I'm like help me... he does his exam( which consists of him sticking his finger in my vagina and swirls it around... sniffs it then wipes it on a Petri dish) looks at my discharge on a microscope says there's nothing there. Then proceeds to give me the same medication I told him didn't work. He didn't send any sample in for testing. I thought maybe he wants to see for himself that this medication doesn't work. I see him a few times get the same medicine the same type of exam. Then at my last visit he says he's tried everything. He then looks me dead in my face a says " you are very heavy and smell is going to happen unfortunately. the winter is coming so the smell should go away. want to see you back in 6 months." Then sends me on way. Come to find out I went to a different GYN and I have something called AV. So it's not because I'm fat... I'm really not even heavy. So go somewhere else do not see this asshole. Not once did he send ANYTHING IN for testing. He basically fingered me, sniffed it and wiped it on a dish.... How is that even remotely okay. I was so desperate for a solution, I ignored the red flags. Please there are better doctors out there. Don't go to this practice.

However he prescribed medicine which he knew I was allergic to and was not happy about my asking for a different prescription to be sent to a pharmacy that could provide what was needed. He had seen me previously and knowing I needed a follow up as a previous cancer patient, said he didn't have time to examine me. They said they were closing in December but I was trying to get an appt. in the summer! I told the staff I could see one of the nurses or pa's but they would not accomodate me. Without my permission he sent my file to a different doctor located in a different city. This doctor never called me and I was not interested in seeing him. When I asked for my file they wanted to charge me per page and said I had to come to Ocala to get it! Finally, they agreed to send it to me. They had a sign hanging on their wall which was their supposed mission statement that "we are all friends here etc". They certainly failed to live up to their claims.

In July 2024, after my pregnancy became high-risk, I was referred and transferred to Shands in Gainesville. At that point, I began requesting that my insurance claims be processed and the balance of my pre-payments refunded for services not rendered. Since September 2024, I have been calling the office regularly and have been told the same thing over and over--that everything is processed, and that I am simply waiting for Dr. Marquette to sign the reimbursement check. Nearly a year later, nothing has been resolved. Despite my patience and numerous attempts to work with the office, the reimbursement I am owed has not been issued. This lack of follow-through and accountability is extremely unprofessional. Patients should not have to spend months chasing down money that rightfully belongs to them. Unfortunately, my experience with this office has been one of unnecessary stress, lack of communication, and unfulfilled promises. I would caution anyone considering this office to be aware of how they handle financial matters.
