We heard right from the start that it would be something special and after our first visit it was confirmed first hand. This is upmarket Indian dining in the suburbs and certainly there is no need to head back into the city for the commuters. We got a quiet table to the rear of the restaurant, lower level and realized that there is a whole second floor which is a great space for your special functions like birthday parties, office dos and the like. There is also nice outdoor seating which overlooks the Waitakeres which is a nice place to have pre-dinner cocktails.
