(2022 - 2024) While I do not question the competency of my provider, I do question the necessity and frequency of the treatments recommended and provided. The significant dental work has involved mostly "crowns". This dental work has caused me great financial strain. Dentistry is subjective and offers no second opinion without a financial impact. At the end of the day all we have is our integrity. I suspect some will say my beliefs are not supported by any evidence. Who can afford to pay for such evidence. So, my beliefs are grounded in my instincts, and they have served me well over the last near seven decades. I will conclude detailing that the staff at Attleboro Falls Family Dentistry is second to none. Respectfully,

I can honestly say that I did not feel a thing and was out of there in no time. I also met his father Dr. Theodore Safer as well as his mother Cheryl, what a wonderful family! We went for a consult and the staff really made us feel comfortable. They took X-rays and measurements, then we met with Dr George and she made her recommendations and shared her plan and timeframe for how long he would need to be in braces. We booked our appointment that day and met with someone who discussed payment plans and options with us. We left that visit with everything we needed, what a relief. I had braces when I was in middle school and I too was a patient at this office. I was impressed with how this office has kept up to date and current with what's relatable and important to kids today. It had all of the familiar comforts of kindness and care I remember, plus all the things that makes it "cool" for kids to have braces today. I knew we were in the right place. They have a kid friendly portal with games and trivia on it and let you earn and track points to redeem for gift card prizes. This has been a motivating tool for my son and because of this, he's excited to go to his appointments and share his progress with the staff.

There is no organization or professionalism at the front desk and sadly that reflects on the provider herself. I left a review earlier this week explaining that the front office lacks organization and while the dentist is amazing. It creates a very poor patient experience. They tell people they are checked in, and do not check them in. Take the patients in reverse order of arrival and appointments. After reflecting I actually removed the post 2 hours later planning to speak with the office when they called with my child's Referrel the next day. They didn't call and asked us to find a new dentist today. This practice has gone down hill, I'm not sure if they have trouble keeping staff, just hire family for the front desk who doesn't have the appropriate experience or if they just don't value their patients time because they have too many patients in the practice and can't manage how many patients they schedule at once. My child asked to start with a new dentist after we left the appointment - so the feeling is mutual . I think it's fair for people looking for new dentist understand that if they have feedback. You will be dropped as a patient. Best wishes to Dr Carolyn and her practice!

But, what I didn't realize was that they book the X-ray Examination and the cleaning SEPARATE. I had to come in for 2 days! Since I was on winter break, it was not a big deal. However, if you are in the working world, it is not okay. I saw Dr. Vo. Dr. Vo's background is extremely impressive, especially considering she is so young! First impressions, I was not impressed. Everyone has an off day, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. The second time I came in, it was much better! She's not very talkative (which is fine, because I hate when they ask you questions and you got stuff all up in your mouth). I had my cleaning done that day, but was able to squeeze in a follow up appointment for a filling as well. For my first appointment, they gave me a water bottle as a welcoming gift. Pretty good marketing strategy, I'm impressed. I will be returning for my second cleaning of the year!

ALL the staff go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable. Procedures are explained very thoroughly, which alleviates a great deal of anxiety. Before any work is done, they go over your record, asking if there have been any changes to your health, current medications, etc. They're always asking "Are you okay?" or "Do you need anything?" or just stop when you signal to ask a question or take a breather. They never "dismiss" you and listen very carefully to anything you need to convey. (That's a HUGE plus in my book!) Compassion & quality time are first and foremost. Their finance department makes all the charges understandable and will set up the best possible payment plan for you, if that is what you need. If I could give TEN stars I would!
