First appt took about 15 mins to get my upper teeth scanned in to then send the image to the lab. That process took about 3 weeks or so. Second appt, met with Dr Jodi Parker, to fit the retainer and make any adjustments needed. She was so patient and careful as I told her some part of the retainer was poking at my gum. She also told me to go home and try it out, and sincerely meant it when she told me that I could come back to adjust anything if it doesn't feel good. I felt really comfortable with Dr Parker and her assistants. Also the receptionist was very nice. I was able to make a quick third appt after I went home and tried it out for that night. I had to go back to make some adjustments. She shaved off some pieces so that the retainer didn't press against my upper front teeth. My retainer helped my upper front teeth to be aligned much better than my old ones. The fit was perfect! Great experience! Would definitely come back even though it's a hour drive to get there. This office is an hour 30 mins from my house the day of the apt I get a call at 8am my apt was at 830 the call said I was late I told them I have an email with the time on it and that I was not. I get there at 8:15 and office was closed. I called and they said I was at wrong office again email conform I was not. I drove extra 20 mins and got there. The Dentis himself was very nice and look at my daughter and made a plan for end of Feb. The dentist said need a physical 30days before she went under. I called got an apt early in month which was fine. The Dentist said just needed to bring paperwork with me day of apt. I then get an email saying my apt was on monday Feb 23 I told then that apt was Tues 24. Then got a text saying apt was at 12pm on 24th the Dentist told me I would not get tiĺl day before the apt. Then I get an email saying they need the information from the Doctor office. Thank God I made an early apt because Dentist himself told me not to do tell middle of month and know saying if dont have paperwork tomorrow they will cancel my daughter apt. This offer so bad. I will never go back. I am kinda scared to even have them touch my daughters month.

The office has a pattern of canceling appointments on their end and then turning around and using those cancellations against patients by marking them as "no-shows." This has happened to me more than once. The most telling moment came when they refused to see me for a cleaning or follow-up -- but were suddenly willing to take me back the moment they found out I needed a major procedure. That speaks volumes about how this practice prioritizes patients. Most recently, I was made "inactive" based on an appointment that they had canceled, not me. When I raised this, the office manager was dismissive and manipulative, framing their own administrative failures as patient non-compliance. Rather than resolving the issue, they handed me a list of other dentists in the area and essentially told me to go elsewhere. I also attempted to enroll my four children as new patients and was told the practice doesn't have the capacity to see five patients from the same family -- even for separate, independent appointments spaced out over time. The care when you do get in may be fine, but the front office management is a serious problem. Patients deserve transparency and accountability, not to be penalized for cancellations that weren't their fault. I would not recommend this practice to anyone who values being treated with honesty and respect.

I said that if he taught me, I did not learn and I needed more information. He then proceeded to school me on going to specialists as though I did not know. It was incredibly ridiculous. When I said that I was leaving and that as a black woman, this always happens. People think that you are not smart enough to understand. He said, oh, if you are going to say things like that, I cannot work with you! I said that was perfectly fine by me. I have no desire to work with someone who could care less if his patients actually understand their condition.
