Pretty average food, but if you are absolutely hankering for Lebanese pizza, there is nothing else in the area.

I love Lebanese food. I'll be the first to admit it! I was soooo looking forward to this place. We…read morebooked in for 8 people on a Saturday night, banquet menu only on Saturdays which is totally fine with me because I know Lebanese do a good banquet. The whole place was booked out but we were pretty much the first table there. It was a muggy afternoon/night and the aircon was cranking. Nice. However for some reason one of the vents was leaking water and dripping right in the centre of my sister in laws head. My pregnant sister in law.. When we asked to be moved it was like I'd just asked for a million dollars!! Totally understand you guys are booked out so let's shuffle the table 30cm back.. reasonable. No we can't sorry. Wait what? Plenty of room to move back for both tables to get in and out. No sorry can't do that. After a few slightly awkward moments they agreed and it was done. Geez that was difficult. ahem. Now to the food! It was delicious, really authentic proper Lebanese food that was on par with my mums cooking. Bread kept running out though. Bread is cutlery for Lebanese food and every time I had to try super hard to flag down someone. BUT the only food item I didn't like was the dessert baklava. Now I know my Leb sweets and this was horrible. I also know that Lebanese are not stingy with coffee and sweets. These people were. Never have I been to a Lebanese restaurant or any middle eastern place that pours the coffee out on the traditional tiny cups then takes the coffee away.. WhaaAat! That's a massive no no. My grandma would have lost it if she was there! Come on guys I already paid $45pp give me a second cup of coffee 5cm worth. The service and hospitality I am used at middle eastern places was completely missed at this place which is soo disappointing. That's the part I treasure the most. Oh and one more thing. 2 pregnant ladies were also dinning with us and asked for a herbal tea instead of coffee. No. $4 extra. As we were walking out the owner caught us and we informed her of why we were not pleased and she very generously gave us 2 takeaway cups of herbal tea.. Thanks for that! But a little to late.

The food and service were below par. The garlic sauce was amazing a bit sharp but still the best…read more Tabouli and fatoush were inedible as they were toooo sour. Chicken was dry and so was the kafta. The lamb skewers were quite ok but fried cauliflower, sambouski and kibbe had no flavour at all. Also they had a lunch function which had continued past 6 so it was a struggle to get attention of wait staff. Don't think will ever visit again given the choices avilable for lebanese food in Sydney.

Holy. Crap. I made…read morea stop on my global adventure in Sydney to visit a friend from SF.. a fellow Lebanese; so I knew when her family insisted on taking me to El Jannah.. it was going to be forking good. We ordered pretty much everything on the menu. Chicken, fries, extra garlic sauce (toum.. twice), tabouleh, fattouch, a kafts sando, and more chicken. The char-grilled chicken was cooked to perfection. Juicy, flavorful and smokey, just how we like it. The tabbouleh needed a bit of extra lemon squeezes but really hit the spot. Fries - superb. Extra thick and crunchy which is how I like mine thankfully.. other Lebos like them thin and lanky. The kafta needed some more moisture, but was good. Get a side of the pickles to pair sour with salty along the way. I'm salivating just writing this. I wish SO badly that they would open up a store in San Francisco. Owners- if you're reading this, and interested in making you're way to the US, I will personally back you :p Yallah Service was fantastic. It was freezing in their 2nd dining area and they promptly turned it the AC down after we asked. Everything was clean, very friendly staff. A must for a quick meal in Sydney.

I'd recommend going with friends if you can and getting a meal deal with pita wraps and pickles. Whatever you do, get an extra garlic sauce though, because one is never enough!

Noi Due is a poplar restaurant in Canada Bay, and has won numerous local hospitality awards over…read morethe years. In my opinion, these accolades are well deserved. Noi Due consistently serves up fresh, delicious, cheap meals. A wide range of traditional, homemade Lebanese and Italian cuisine is available, at more than reasonable prices. Last week a friend and I ordered the dip plate (Hommous, Babaganouj, Labni and bread) as an entrée. Delicious, and only $10. I had the $17 Rocket Pizza as my main (Prosciutto, bocconcini, mushroom, olives, topped with fresh rocket). It was so good, and had just enough of everything- though some of the rocket leaves looked a little worse for wear. Service is usually pretty good considering how busy this little restaurant can get, especially on weekends. If crowds bother you, Noi Due offers free local home delivery. Another big plus for Noi Due is their commitment to promoting local artists. Beautiful, locally created artworks adorn the walls of the restaurant, and they're all for sale! Trading Hours: Tuesday to Sunday from 5pm (BYO)

The food served are still as delicious as I remembered when I was first introduced to this restaurant and fortunately STILL reasonably priced (especially for the quantity you get). They cater for everyone from all walks of life. So whether you want to bring a group of people (e.g. family) or want to dine alone...this is the place for it. The smell of the meat being cooked (I think they are charcoal grilled) permiates all over the restaurant. You could even smell it before opening the door to enter the restaurant (the aroma was enough to get me hungry)! The yoghurt they serve with the meat is incredibly delicious - and healthy! It is light textured (unlike those yoghurt that makes you feel heavy in the stomach) and there's a hint of mint on it that will linger on your tastebuds. They also add diced cucumber to make it refreshing. Their rice: I have never appreciated rice as much as I have in this place. I ate a whole plateful of it and still felt great afterwards. Not sickeningly full - just satisfied. They also mixed a bit of butter on it. Taste and freshness in ingredients is obviously important to this restaurant. I'm not usually fond of eating lamb. But this place might have just changed my opinion on it. I'll definitely be introducing it to more people.
