This is a customer service story that happened outside of the business hours…read more I would like to personally thank Cassandra Rosalez. My wallet was stolen out of my purse last Saturday night and after canceling all of my cards and chalking it up as a complete loss I was pleasantly surprised by Marco and Cassandra. My mother (from another state) received a call from Cassandra who said her friend that works as a garbage man found my wallet. My ID is from out of state so she figured I was visiting and something bad happened to me since it was found in the garbage can, or that I would miss my flight back home without an ID. She googled me and found my mothers telephone number and informed her that herself and Marco, a driver for Flood Brothers had found my wallet. She was so helpful and so sweet when I talked to her. I am touched by the fact that people can be so concerned with complete strangers. That really touches my heart and I am so appreciative of these two people. They never asked for any rewards in return, and when I tried to give one to Marco he refused and told me Merry Christmas. Thank you again Marco and Cassandra!!!!!!! Oh and it must be a small world, because I actually work for one of the Flood brothers at another company- and of course I ran into the office to tell him about his amazing employee!! :)

Machero should be rated as Chicago's best Mac repair store…read more Its a class act like this among all the sneaky ones in the world that reaffirm there are good, decent, and honest people left in this world. My Mac's screen sizzled and then went dead after some water damage. I took the Mac to Apple and off course those self serving geniuses immediately told me my Mac is history and I would need to rebuild the entire circuit board for 900.00 or get a new computer. I was bummed and did nothing for month until I realized there is life outside apple care. So I called a few places on yelp and didn't get some good vibes. Most of them wanted to charge me non refundable fees to see if they can fix it and some over the phone also said i needed a new circuit board. So my intuition told me to call Machero and they told me to bring it in for free estimate, no obligation. I figured worse case they would tell me what the others did about a circuit board. An hour after I brought it in, Gino tells me the only thing that was damaged was some memory chips and he can repair everything for under $100.00 total. Now, let me reiterate. I know as much about Macs as I do about astrophysics so he could have told me the bogus b.s. the other places told me and taken me to the cleaners Instead, his focus was on me as a person, not me as a number, or a receipt. Maybe if more businesses and their owners were as decent and ethical as he was, they'd be in business and not part of our financial fiasco. So let me save you time and money and headaches. Be like NIKE: Don't think, just do it, and if you have a Mac issue, bring it in for some real people skills in fixing your mechanical ones.

Gino is sweet! And I kind of want to leave the review at that, but I guess I'll say a little more…read more In all honestly, I didn't go to Gino for Mac help, but I know he rules the business. Gino and I got in touch because of an event I was running for FreshBooks. I needed a space and wanted to spend as little money as possible. I reached out to some of our customers in Chicago and Gino was SO awesome to get back to me super quickly and offer up his space to host our workshop. He worked with me to secure catering, audio-visuals and anything else I needed. Srsly -- ANYTHING! I needed a bunch of chairs and rental places weren't down with renting only 50. He got in touch with a nearby church and helped us arrange a donation to its after school program. AND helped me carry and drive over the chairs throughout one of the city's first snowfalls of the year. Incredible. Gino was the best host ever and I'm basically spoiled for out-of-town events for the rest of my life. Best dude. Best.

I temp with them sometimes - I don't have much to say. Nothing particularly bad or good. The work…read moreis okay, and the pay is okay. No problems so far. But I wanted to add, to Ms. N, that what you experienced is what would happen to any temp company. Temp companies make their money when companies come to them and ask them to find a worker. Then they get paid either by the hour, for every hour you work, or one flat fee. Every temp company makes you sign a contract saying that the company can't hire you directly for at least a year after the temp gig. Every temp company has that policy. This is so companies don't rip off the temp agency by making them find a worker for them and then giving them the run around and not paying.

They call me every time they have something fashion related, and are all very friendly and nice. It's rare a company that handles so many clients and temps knows your name, and here everyone seems to know who I am. It's great and always makes me want to work with them. I'm considering doing some office temping with them, so I will see what that is like and update this review.
