Disappointing experience and an even more disappointing response from the owner. My partner and I hired Manny's Wine Tour for private transportation during our Napa trip, and unfortunately, the experience was well below expectations. We had two drivers. The first one was genuinely lovely, and we actually ran into him the following day and gave him a hug! However, he barely spoke and offered no insight into Napa or the wineries, which was something we had hoped for from a local wine tour service. Our experience with the other driver was considerably worse. She seemed uncomfortable behind the wheel, was unconcerned about arriving late to reservations, frequently inserted herself into private conversations, and repeatedly asked about the cost of things at the wineries. At one point, while we were enjoying our final tasting, the car began repeatedly honking because she couldn't figure out how to stop it. It was disruptive and made us feel rushed. (I took out there names because they shouldn't feel like I am coming for them - everything should be on Manny and it is Manny's fault 100%) What ultimately prompted this review was Manny's response. Rather than publicly criticizing his business, I initially sent him a thoughtful private message explaining our experience. Instead of acknowledging our concerns, he suggested we should have booked his van with him personally rather than choosing the less expensive option of having a driver operate our own car. I wasn't aware that professionalism, punctuality, and competent driving were premium upgrades. We weren't expecting a luxury chauffeur or private sommelier, just knowledgeable, professional drivers who could enhance our Napa experience. I genuinely believe both drivers had good intentions, but the owner's dismissive response to constructive feedback was the most disappointing part. Zero stars. Needs serious self-reflection! My name is Monica, and I work at a highly respected winery in Sonoma County. During my interaction with Manny, he repeatedly referred to me as "Monica Lewinsky," despite me correcting him and making it clear that was not my name. His continued use of that reference was disrespectful, disappointing, and made me uncomfortable. When he was asked to be respectful, he became combative and rude rather than acknowledging that his comments were inappropriate. After looking through previous reviews, I noticed a pattern of him responding negatively to people who leave genuine feedback about their experiences, including attacking those who share concerns. This type of behavior is extremely inappropriate. If you are looking for a professional wine tour experience and want to build positive relationships with wineries in the area, DO NOT recommend booking with or associating with Manny. Based on my personal experience, his lack of professionalism, empathy, and respect was deeply disappointing. Harassment is NEVER OKAY. Please be aware of this behavior when making your decision. Respect and professionalism should always be the standard, and this experience fell far short of that! read more

Manny made our entire Napa experience. I'd give him 10 diamonds for this review if I could, but since I can only put 5 stars, that'll suffice. Manny met us at our hotel, curated every single one of our winery tours, and drove us over an hour to our airport, from Napa to Oakland, once our trip ended. Manny is so knowledgeable and knows the best locations and will ensure you have the best experience fathomable. I was on the waitlist for a month for Jarvis Estate, and he was able to get me and my group in within an hour. We had wineries and experiences planned but ended up canceling them to just have Manny take the reins and it was the most incredible wine country experience we've had. Manny secured private tours with the most incredible vineyards we could imagine. Manny is personable, incredibly funny, trustworthy, reliable, timely, always happy, and is all around just the best. As a plus, Manny will set you up with most incredible experiences if you let him know that you're coming into Napa in advance-- I have his business card saved in my phone and have passed it along to several friends since being on his tour. If you are looking for an unforgettable time in Napa and you choose to have anyone except for Manny curate your experience, you'll deeply regret it. I truly couldn't imagine my time in Napa being better than it was, and it was thanks to Manny. He drove us around in an Escalade, so we were incredibly comfortable, and he let us know that he has a sprinter for larger groups and smaller vehicles available as well. We went to regiis ova for brunch, then went to Del Dotto, then went to a private tasting at Covert, then went to dinner at Press. The next day, we went to Jarvis (my favorite by far as it's a subterranean winery), had lunch at Auburge du solei, had a private tour at sequoia Grove, and then departed to the airport. Manny is the only person we'll be contacting when we come to the Napa/Sonoma/Russian River area, and we can't wait to book more tours with him. read more

Best experience ever! Super low key and let us DJ between each winery. For one tour, we got our timing wrong and showed up an hour early so our driver took us to a cute local spot he knew about to pass the time so we could get food and a glass of wine while waiting. We did a birthday trip to Napa this past weekend with Friends. We were recommended to use Manny's wine tours. Manny and Justin set up our itinerary to visit smaller, more private and personal wineries based on their suggestion. We had a fantastic time. It was a great experience and we truly enjoyed the first class service with Justin as our driver. There was 5 of us so we rented a Suburban out of Sacramento airport, drove to where we were staying in Calastoga. Justin drove our rental and was our designated driver. He did suggest small batch, boutique wineries, Redmon Wines was very nice, a great family history, and a wonderful future for the property. There was a second boutique winery, Blue Oak Hill Winery, the atmosphere was nice, impressive location. Service at all wineries was great. Manny is a great guide, very knowledgeable, excellent driver. Quite a comedian. We stopped at a cute cafe, the name escapes me, but the bread was fresh, which made for delicious sandwiches.
