Came here for the second time in a week and once again, they did not disappoint. Brought my lady the first time and my mom the second. Both times an amazing meal. The service and servers are incredible. They make you feel right at home. Warm, welcoming, and attentive. We ordered the special sweet and spicy calamari to start, and the lobster fra diavolo special for dinner. Mom is allergic to shrimp so they swapped that for scallops because she loves those. Meal was delicious and although I'd love to post photos, let's just say, the camera did not eat first unfortunately lol. Ambiance is quaint and family friendly. Incredible job by the team here. RUDE is an understatement. I ordered food on the phone and the person answering the phone was short and quick. Although I repeated my order twice when I got there, there were three times the amount of food that I ordered. I paid by credit card so it wasn't until I looked at my receipt to realize that ordering a sandwich and two small rolls cost me $50. When I questioned it, there was an abundance of food that I did not order. They did absolutely nothing. My questioning, they just walked away from me and I walked out with enough food that I threw out because not one person can eat that much food. Never again. Go elsewhere. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to get a slice of pizza. read more

Pretty decent Italian restaurant, however it was pretty expensive. We got a bunch of things to share, but be warned they do have a $7 sharing fee per person (we got a great waiter who didn't charge us though). I was here last night, honestly very disappointed. We were waiting for over an hour just for a slice of pizza and one order of pasta. We had ordered calamari as an appetizer and we did not finish it so we asked for a box. They took it to the back and we never received it back. When we asked they said they lost it. We have been long-time customers, but our most recent experience has us questioning if we will return. My husband ordered a sausage and pepper roll for an appetizer. There was a significant language barrier with our server, and he explained to him multiple times what he wanted. My husband ended up receiving what looked like a garlic knot stuffed with sausage. For dinner, my husband ordered the Veal Chop, which he orders every time we dine here. Tonight, the veal chop came out looking like a lamb shank. Not pounded out, a thick tendon of meat, extremely tough. And for the price, it was extremely disappointing. I had one of the specials, the cod. I received what looked like 2 cod nuggets, drowning in liquid, with tons of chopped tomatoes and a few asparagus and artichoke pieces. It's truly the worst pizza. The sauce is spicy and so much garlic. The pie is too thick and way too much cheese. This makes it extremely hard to get the authentic crust. I don't know what is different but it is not the same person or recipe. This is really far from pizza you would get in Italy. Five of us went for dinner on Monday night. We all ordered different meals. Each of us were 100% satisfied. Each meal was cooked perfectly, all meals were hot, prepared as described(delicious), and came out at the same time! The service was excellent, house wine was great and water glasses were constantly being refilled. The portions were generous which left no room for dessert. The portions were a very nice size ... the drinks from the bartender .. spot on. !!! And the service impeccable. ! Overpriced for bland Italian food. We've been ordering takeout quite a bit from here recently because it's close but that's no longer a good enough reason for me. Mixed seasonal salad, too much provolone cheese and it's very salty. Not enough vegetables. The chicken is decent though. Chicken francese is always cold. Outdoor seating was our choice. We got our drinks promptly and placed our order, our waiter gave us the specials (there's always a special). Bread and butter came and so did water. We ordered the recommended special appetizer stuffed artichoke. We each got a pasta dish where usually we got a grandmas pizza to go. Chicken Marsala with rigatoni n tomato sauce, as well as the white clam seafood combo on linguine (loaded with seafood). Both dishes were perfectly cooked! We had enough for leftovers for both of us. Portions are generous and service is attentive. Great place for dinner if you don't mind dining in the parking lot. Next time we'll try for dessert. read more

I just want to let everyone know that my mom ordered $300 worth of fish salad for Christmas Eve... when they opened the containers, it was all ice surrounding all the shellfish. My sister called the owner and even sent him a photo of all the ice and he said it's impossible so they obviously lied....now my mom is out $300 and I think it's a disgrace and I want everybody to know about it because they should not eat there or order food out there because if there's something wrong, they will not take any responsibility, my mom had to throw the seafood in the garbage. Now I'm a chef and if you get some thing that is full of ice, obviously it was prepared and frozen. The seafood had no flavor whatsoever after it was defrosted. Also, she left her credit card there by mistake and they said they had it and to come get it and when she got there nobody knew what she was talking about so she had to cancel her credit card but of course they had already billed her at $300 ! We went to Mannino's for the first time recently for take out. We ordered a few of the grandma style slices. We were stuck by the friendliness of the guy who took our order. The pizza had a well baked crust, quality cheese but the sauce was so sweet it could qualify as a confection. I like a little sweetness but this sauce so clearly contained ample added sugar. I tried to ignore it but felt like I was eating a pizza donut (if there's such a thing.) A generous 2 stars for the pizza. An added star for the friendliness. read more

Upon entering the pizzeria I noticed it was fairly empty for lunch time on a weekend. This should have been my first red flag. I ordered a slice and a mini pepperoni roll to a particularly stand-offish guy who seemed annoyed that I even walked in. I walked away after ordering, trusting it would be fulfilled without problems. I got my slice and a pepperoni pinwheel, which was not what I was looking for. Although I was annoyed, at this point I was so hungry and I thought to myself "I'll just eat what I can and then save the rest". I wish this was what actually happened... First, I took a bite or my slice and almost spit it out. The crust was burnt. The sauce and cheese were fine, but the crust made my slice inedible. Now happy I got the pepperoni pinwheel by mistake, I moved on. Again as was my slice of pizza, the bottom of the pinwheel was somewhat burnt . I was able to pull it apart and salvage some of it. Normally we dine in at the Commack location. Did not know this location was here the whole time. I only ordered take out from here. The Restaurant is cute and small, always busy so we make sure that call ahead to place our order. The Pizza is always on point then and never burnt on the bottom. I usually order the Penne Supreme which is Penne Pasta with Scallops, crabmeat and Shrimp. OMG its so good. The garlic knots and Chicken cutlets are on point as well.
