Went home for a vacation. Had a family gathering and went , for an ice cream cake . Let's just say it's still taste the same and the girls that waited on me were so nice . Miss your ice cream down here in Florida ! read more

Its fine, the locals love it, Ive been once or twice, nothing to blow me away, I would rather just get something from somewhere cheaper that tastes the same. Its made from a local farm, so its probably better quality, I just personally can't tell the difference. Nothing was bad, just underwhelming compared to what everyone says about it read more

there were no cones. only styrofoam cups. i will not buy food in styrofoam. that is very unsustainable and has many chemicals.

Best ice cream from a great family farm. They have a huge menu of choices. The family and employees are always very friendly.

Best ice cream, a zillion flavors and lots of options. Great prices and caring staff! Recently tried their chocolate milk. It was a memory of my childhood - rich, real chocolate taste and creamy going down! I'm bringing my cooler next time I'll be in the area. Worth a detour!! read more

Ice cream is always delicious! I love that you can bring home your favorite kind. Service is always quick even when there is a line out the door. read more

A must stop anytime you are near Clark's Summit. Service is always friendly, and they have a great selection. The tasting of every flavor is amazing! read more

I am not a big ice cream eater cause ummmmm cake is better. Buttttt this ice cream could definitely convert me. It tasted of real milk. Fresh real milk not that ultra pasteurized stuff (people who drink fresh milk will understand this). I got the Snoopie but also tried the confetti cake and cookie dough. All were divine. And the portion....less than $3 for a small and it gave me 2 days of yumminess. The take home big container was about $5. Only downside is they are cash only. read more

Best ice cream around. Take you kids / grandkids to the 'farm' in north Dalton. Cxxxxxxxxx

Store bought ice cream of any premium brand doesn't come close to the creamy richness of this local family business.

Best local Ice cream around! By far the best price and friendliest staff in all of Clarks Summit. read more

Dear Mrs. Manning, I am very disappointed that your Mississippi Mud Pie Ice Cream once again has been discontinued for the winter. I'm certain that it's one of your best selling during the summer, I can't imagine why it's not available year round. Thanks, Kevin read more

Delicious chocolate chip Vickie dough! And sea salt caramel is to die for. Great place and great prol8ces too

Manning's is definitely the best ice cream in the Scranton/Clarks Summit area. Its old school hard ice cream with fresh ingredients and a huge variety of flavors. Manning's would get five stars from me, but growing up on Blue Ribbon Dairy ice cream in West Pittston, the toppings for the sundaes falls short. Whipped cream out of a can? For a business that advertises themselves as a dairy, I would expect fresh made from their own cream. Still the best around though, and I'm definitely going to be making the stop very frequently during the warm weather months. read more

Manning Farm Dairy - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania

Amazing service and products!!! Their ice cream is home made! Such a great family run business!

I usually prefer to go to the main farm for my ice cream but today I stopped at this location with my family. It was a good experience! I usually get the blueberry cheesecake yogurt but today I had the Carmel critter ice cream. It was delicious! Lots of Carmel which was a nice change! read more

Manning Farm Dairy - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania

De-lish! That's all I have to. Every time we come up to this area we have to make a stop at Mannings. It could be anytime of day. It doesn't matter breakfast, lunch, dinner time; sometimes we even have dessert before we eat. The ice cream is fresh, wholesome, and truly a delight. The assortment of flavors is outstanding read more

So good! Cash only...have a freezer ready a single was 3 servings for me! I tried the pumpkin

This ice cream is amazing. Their cookie dough is on point & don't even get me started on their cookie monster flavor. The people there are sweet. Be prepared for a long line!!! It's worth the wait tho for sure. read more

This is, by far, the best ice cream in the area. Large selection of flavors and the price is reasonable. I also buy fresh milk whenever I'm there. read more

This is THE place to go for ice cream in Clarks Summit. Always a long line on hot summer nights. This is not a sit-down ice cream place - just a counter with lots and lots of flavors of ice cream! Generous servings. Delicious. No complaints from me! Yum. read more

I am sure most people go for the Ice cream. Although the ice cream is really good. I love Manning's chocolate milk..it is so creamy and delicious. It is rich in flavor and a must have for when I am in the area. read more

Best ice cream period, nothing beats Manning's ice cream and milk... yes the milk is even better, chocolate milk tastes like a thin milk shake sooo good. Just don't go hear for any kind of atmosphere a few of the locations have seating but but only a few chairs and tables at best. Plan on taking it home but it's worth it. 4 stars only for the fact that you have to eat it in a dirty parking lot outside a drug testing facility, ice cream deserves 6 stars read more

Cheery service, creamy textures and dozens of different flavors - perhaps too many. None of the flavors we tried were notably intense, and some tasted artificial. Perhaps focusing on several classics -- and a few seasonal ones - would yield a higher quality product. read more

This place is a pretty cool experience and the ice cream is great. Probably a big magnet for locals but they are welcoming to out of towners. read more

I stopped by Manning Dairy Farm store for ice cream and egg nog. There are a variety of ice cream flavors for customers. I had a cup of Manning strawberry cheesecake ice cream. The ice cream was creamy and very flavorful (tasty). I got a half gallon of egg nog as well. I love egg nog especially during the holiday season. Manning egg nog was a bit pricey in my opinion. It was definitely delicious. The egg nog was fresh, smooth (great texture),and very flavorful. I could have downed a gallon easily. Service was average. There's plenty of parking in front of Manning DF. Keep in mind its Cash Only! Manning Dairy Farm is a good choice for ice cream or egg nog. I give Manning Dairy Farm a 4.5 rating. read more

OK real talk if you're visiting this area, don't kill yourself just yet from boredom and come here for some milky fresh GOODNESS. BRUH, they milk their own cow titties FRESH like my Js and whip that in their ice cream. You can actually taste the milk, which was interesting for me cuz I grew up fat on Ben & Jerry's sterilized shiz. Got their milkshake, and HELL YEAH THAT'S BRINGING ME TO THE YARD. Hella strong though, had to drink a gallon of water like I just came out of labor. But yeah, all the locals here know this joint, and if you're visiting, ask yourself why the hell you visiting this wasteland and get some enjoyment by coming here before you leave. read more

I have been to a lot of shops where people rave about homemade ice cream, but didn't really feel that the ice cream was as good as everybody claims. Manning's is definitely an exception to that! There were tons of flavors and they let us sample a lot since we had never been in. I LOVED the German chocolate ice cream. My husband loved his pistachio, also. I wished that there were labels down at the case level, but that doesn't take them from the 5 star rating. We will definitely make this store a must for whenever we are in the area. read more

Excellent ice cream, milk , and even good iced tea (in the summer). Many great flavors, generous servings, fair prices. So what's not to like? In the interest of full disclosure: some stores don't have indoor sit down space (some do); sometimes lines are long (but only sometimes ...and it provides time to decide on a flavor or two); they don't offer 1% milk...but do have great whole, 2% and skim....tip: be sure to try the chocolate milk for a special impulsive treat...it's available in pints, and is a good take home, or quick substitute for a shake (allowing room for some ice cream too). ...but then again, parking is easy, servers are efficient and cheery...and the customers are nice too. Uh, what's not to like again? read more

Manning's has some of the best ice cream around. They have a wide variety of flavors, but caramel turtles is my favorite! Their ice cream is always the perfect creamy consistency. Their milk and yogurt products are also delicious, fresh and inexpensive! Bonus points for staying open in the winter! I am one of those crazies who eat ice cream no matter how cold it is! read more

Nothing beats Manning's ice cream, and its not limited to just summer time. I used to hang out in the parking lot and act like an idiot when I was in high school. Charlie Brownie is heaven in a tiny styrofoam cup. Add sprinkles and you have my kryptonite. If you're feeling saucy, get it in a sprinkle coated sugar cone. You won't be disappointed. read more

I'd continue to go here even if I was lactose intolerant. Best ice cream, best memories. Only place where anyone could possibly enjoy the smell of cows. read more

The ice cream here is on point Good selection, serving size is good, and the chocolate milk? Be prepared to never want milk with Hershey's syrup again. It is the thickest, most decadent chocolate milk I have ever consumed. read more

Awesome ice cream that is homemade at their dairy farm just a few miles away. They make shakes and have yogurt options too.

Truly had the smoothest chocolate yogurt I've ever had. What a treat!

Phenomenal milk and ice cream. Nothing beats locally produced LTP dairy. It's richer. It's sweeter. It beats the pants off of grocery store dairy, which is bland by comparison. read more

Bought a house overca year ago 2 miles away fro. Mannings , everytime not very helpful staff , people cutting in front of us. Ridiculousness , tonight was final straw. I like to spend money in my community but really ? Should it be that hard to buy an icecream cone. We won t be patrons here again. We will try Dairyqueen when its finished though. read more
