Dr. Mankey was a lifesaver! At the end of my pregnancy I had the most excruciating back pain and he gently and patiently helped me relieve it. Once I gave birth he adjusted me and my newborn daughter. During her adjustment he was very clear and detailed about what he was doing, how he was proceeding, and assured me that she wasn't in any pain during the adjustment. My son is always complaining about some kind of bump or bruise, but he was continuing to complain about having lower back pain. I was going to take him to urgent care but then decided he might just need to see a chiropractor. Mankey was able to get us in that day by shuffling things around (thank you!) and we saw Dr. Allie later that morning. My son has special needs, including being on the autism spectrum - and has previously had an intense fear of breaking bones, especially his neck. So needless to say he arrived tense. Dr. Allie totally took it in stride and was so great with him. She took the time to explain how chiropractic works, showed us bones and muscles, and eased him into the treatment. I could tell he was still tense but he let her treat him and he definitely felt better after. Because he is on his iPad so much and leaning over quite a bit, I decided some additional visits for maintenance were probably a good idea. I was disappointed in the lack of covid safety measures during my daughters visit today. There were 2 patients not wearing masks in the waiting room and the chiropractor was not wearing one. When asked about it, they said they have the antibodies so they cannot infect anyone and they cannot get it. This is not true based on all of the recent information from the CDC, so it's very concerning that they are spreading misinformation. We will not be back. read more

Dr Alison is very knowledgeable and kind. I first started going to her during my second pregnancy when I was having some discomfort in my pelvis and having close call fainting spells. After only a couple visits my discomfort was under control and baby moved to a more optimal position for labor. I birthed my daughter vaginally very quickly and without any complications. I now continue to see her once a month or as needed for shoulder & spine misalignments. She helps reset me and I leave feeling amazing. Great client service and expert insight. Grahm has worked with Olympic water polo and college rugby teams. I had a sports injury and needed a sports injury expert. Grahm quickly got my hips realigned and explained to me what had happened and how to follow through with healing. I was able to make rapid progress and get my head wrapped around how to fully heal and get back in the gym. I also have never felt that he is interested in overbooking for unnecessary adjustments. I have been attending Mankey Family Chiropractic aproximatly two month now. I went there for lower back pain since separating from the service. I explained to Dr. Mankey the pain was so severe, I could barely walk out of work leaning on walls for support. Other days, I could barely get out of bed. I've seen several chiropractors who have relieved my pain temporarily, but not given much feed back after the session. My lower back pain would return, and the pain would be worse. Being treated by the Mankey family my lower back is feeling much better. I was explained why, I was having recurrent pain, and discomfort. He recommended a plan to relieve my symptoms, with much incouragement needed. I can do activities again, I believed once would never be an option for me again. The receptionists are rude and condescending. The doctor talks incessantly and doesnt focus on treatment as much as the conversation he is having. I had an initial appointment and was made to wait an hour before being seen. Next time I show up early and am told it takes 15 minutes to adjust one person .....because of the incessant talking so appointment mean nothing. They see you when its convenient for them. I've been going to a chiro since I was a baby. It takes max 5 minutes to adjust when the doctor isnt trying to keep a conversation about philosophy going. read more

For nearly 11 years following a fall (1) from the roof; (2) tripping in the dark on a huge root embedded under asphalt, my right hand has been, to say the least, challenged by the mundane activities of daily living. Until one experiences numbness, clumsy response to routine tasks and concern for possible atrophy, this might not seem like a big deal. It was. I have had good care through these years and am grateful for each person who worked with this injury. Dr. Ali and Dr. Graham have reintroduced my right hand to my life. The hand can now hold a needle, whip cream with a whisk, pick up an errant slip of paper from the floor and has moved from an 11 on a scale of 1-10 to a 5 in the feeling (numbness) and prehension categories. The integrated use of multiple chiropractic techniques seems to have made the difference. The falling and then falling again impacted more than my neck and shoulder.
