If I could give it zero stars, I probably would. Hours suck. You have multiple employees, all of which work during the day. If there's not enough work during the day for all of you (I mean, I'm constantly seeing you guys standing outside smoking cigarettes and going back to dry clean peoples clothes? smelling like a cigarette...gross) but schedule someone in the evenings... Not doing a service to your community by closing so early, there's many people that would love to give you their business in the evening (I work during the day so evening are the only time I can do laundry). Employees can be quit rude. Expensive. Their restroom used to be open to customers but now it's employees only? We shouldn't have to go across the street to the gas station to use the restroom if we're sitting there for a few hours giving you our business. I've been rushed out on numerous occasions while I'm going as fast as I can to fold my laundry. One time I was even told I might have to take my laundry home to fold. Umm, no. I live just blocks away from this establishment, and I take my business to Onekama. It's cheaper. they're open until 11:30PM!!! They have a restroom. Take your business to Onekama if you can, just not in the evenings. kidding. Need new management or new owners. Somebody that understands the needs of their community. read more

This laundry is expensive but also very uncaring. I spent $35 doing my laundry. I had been there for 1.5 hours. I looked for a restroom. I could not find one. I saw an employee walk out of a door and I politely asked about a bathroom and was told they did not have a "public" restroom. I said I just did $35 in laundry and I needed to use the restroom. She said NO! I then asked to speak to a manager or owner, she said she was not allowed to give out any information. She would give me a piece of paper to write my complaint down. What a horrible joke. Obviously I will not ever return. read more

Blonde lady is VERY rude to female customers. I am on medication for HBP and Diabetes. I had a emergency, almost pissed myself. These bouts happen often without any warning. They don't allow customers to use the bathroom. I couldn't hold it. She let me use the bathroom but was angry and commented that I had a drink and when my grandson said he had to use the bathroom as well she mumbled of course you do. People can't help it sometimes. She made a judgement on "people like you" always get your way. Which is far from the truth. If I could of held it I would. She also refused to give me the name of the owner or any other way to contact whoever it is. If my dryer would not have broken, I would of never went there. She is ALWAYS rude, never smiles unless it's a younger man, then she's all smiles and acts friendly. She made me so angry I told her what I thought of her behavior. read more

The equipment itself works fine, a bit expensive but works fine. The employees however are all rude. The are very snippy and short when you talk to them. I watched one of them sweep up 2 quarters someone had dropped and rather than letting that person know she had dropped them she threw that woman's money away. It is posted that they close at 7. The same woman made the couple that was waiting for the bus stand outside in the rain so she could lock the door at 650. Maybe be more concerned with how you are treating your customers! read more

The lady working was so rude, not helpful at all. Stood over my shoulder the whole time making things uncomfortable. Definitely needs better service. Will not be coming back. Highly recommend finding a new worker. The buisness can only thrive off paying customers and based off many other reviews of this place, it doesn't look like it will last long with this lady working. read more

Laundry service works fine, but the employees are extremely rude. I came in to do a load of laundry before closing (online and posted outside said 7pm) and the first thing out of the employees mouth was, "you have to be out by 6! I close at 6! Your stuff has to be out by 6" - no hello, welcome, or a how are you. I totally understand the whole closing thing - it's super annoying when people come in right before closing time but don't treat them like their business does not matter. After I came back to pick up my clothes (knowing I wasn't going to dry my stuff) the same woman goes "are you drying your things too?" in an extremely rude tone (mind you, it's only 5:30). I was very short back to her and all I said was no. I grabbed my WET CLOTHES and left to head over to the other laundry mat in town to dry my clothing. After I left (only about 5:40) she locks the door. She must have really needed to leave early or something! read more

The laundromat is pretty clean, and most of the equipment works. The rates seem a little high (see below) but I don't frequent laundromats much anymore so who knows. Soap available for purchase, and close to several other stores so you can walk around while you get laundry done. I'm glad at least one laundromat is left in Manistee since all the others closed! There are always broken and unlabeled machines. The employees are extremely rude. Drive the extra distance to go anywhere else!

We use this laundromat to do the laundry of our film crew & talent. The rates & service were great! Every person on the crew commented on how awesome their laundry was done! We drove from the Dallas, TX area to stay in a VRBO (annual family reunion over the 4th). Stupidly, we didn't make sure there was a washer & dryer where we were staying!!! As most people do these days, we "googled" "laundry." We finally ended up here after passing the only other two OUT OF BUSINESS laundromats!!!! I am so glad those were closed!!! Instead of spending whole days of our vacation waiting next to hot spinning washers & dryers, this family of four found a true vacation in Manistee Laundromat's full service drop off!!! For a VERY reasonable fee, we were free to go about our day! In just a few hours, we returned to find our laundry clean, folded, and beautifully presented! The staff (Lacey B) was so patient and attentive! I feel every single star on this rating is earned at LEAST twice over!!! Horrible place! The laundry employees are very rude to the customers. The large dryers for comforters charge 50c for five mins and I thought they were not working. She stated the last 3 mins of the 5 mins are set for cooling.. I asked why they didn't post that information and the employee stated most people have common sense!! Why would you think it's okay to speak with a paying customer in that manner? I told her we would never come here again and she said she would bet me I would? Again very rude.. seriously why are these laundry employees nasty? Don't waste your money on this laundromat. There is another laundromat that is cleaner and rated far better.. read more
