We were camping at the State Park Campgrounds and they do not provide laundry services/facilities. I went on Yelp and was so lucky to find this place. The reviews don't lie!! The staff and the owner Jim were amazing, when my boyfriend got done at the store, the coolest nicest customer there came up and shook his hand and introduced himself to him as well. The facility is well kept and all the machines accept card or coin/cash which is super cool. They have these amazing giant dryers that for 25 cents it gives you eight minutes. You only need two quarters because they dry that quickly!! He has coffee for you as well as fresh cookies from the local bakery and there is a CVS right behind them in case you need anything else. You shouldn't need anything else though because he has it all. Everything is well kept, clean and very accommodating. I am very foreign to laundromats but they helped me and walked me through the process. The people that wash here are are a joy to talk to and I actually want to go back just to hang out. Had to find a laundromat, in a pinch, to help out my mother. Went directly to Yelp, and chose Eastfield. If there was a 6th Star to give, they would get it. Everyone was friendly and extremely helpful. Did an enormous load of laundry, wash and dry, for under $10. They even gave me samples of their Soap and Softner, as I was unprepared. Super friendly , and A+ service. Will come again. read more

No one was there, had an issue with a machine... paid $5 dollars in coins, machine stated it was on. Waited a few and it never started, called the number posted and left a messaged, never heard back. The machine was asking for another $3.75. So a $5 wash cost me $8.75. Maybe someone will call and rectify the issue. Clean place with the exception of other customers dropping dryer sheets everywhere. Bathroom was nice and clean! Bonus they had a car wash attached, was able to clean car while waiting. Also if your hungry check out Papa's pizza... was delicious! Here for 4 months will update if issue was addressed and if I wash here again. read more

This is the nicest laundry I've ever been in. Reason prices, all supplies, credit cards can run the equipment, comfortable places to sit, even with a counter top if you want to write or study. Snacks available, clean restroom for patrons, spotless. The best ever. They also have big equipment for big items, comforters, sleeping bags, etc. read more

Not bad, I'd been meaning to head over to take advantage of the huge washers and dryers to run my comforter through before winter shows up. With our washing machine on the fritz I ended up running everything over. Some places can get a little tight with all the machines they have in here from single load sized to massive but overall the place is well laid out with change machines and soap\snack\drink vending machines always close by and plenty of room for folding. It's clean, well lit and they even have good TP in the bathroom. The machines take both in house cards, credit cards and they still even take quarters. I only saw 2 machines down, one partially disassembled, and a third one with it's CC reader in the shop. I think I even saw a micro internet cafe in one corner. This is a pretty nice place to do your own laundry or drop it off for them to take care of, certainly far nicer than some I've been to over the years. read more

Traveling for a week in Michigan, we stopped in at this laundry and were delighted with the facility and the friendliness of the staff. The laundry is clean, with modern washing machines, ample change machine and soap selections, and with a good result from the washing and drying. Free coffee was provided while we waited, and the proprietor made a point of saying hello and checking in with us. The Eastfield Laundromat proved to be a comfortable and efficient spot to clean our clothing and regroup for more exploration of beautiful Northern Michigan. Snack machines, Internet stations, and an arcade game are also available. Free soap is provided for members of the military. It's got my thumbs up! read more

We recently took our exclusively cloth diapered baby on vacation to Traverse City, and I was cringing at the idea of washing our diapers without our usual equipment. (No sprayer? No thank you.) On a whim, I decided to see if Traverse City has a cloth diaper service, and THEY DO! Eastfield Laundry provides an adorable, vintage-style diaper service with super-soft prefolds, hilarious plastic pants and actual diaper pins (we brought our own snappies and thirsties covers). They have FREE pick up and delivery, and they require NO RINSING. Good heavens, it seemed too good to be true. But it was true. They were so cute and cheerful on the phone. They set up special pricing just for us, since they didn't already have a one week only option. They even knocked down the price without me asking because it "seemed too expensive" (Is this real life?!?!). The diapers arrived on time and were pristine and, again, SO SOFT. They called to remind us of the pick up and came on time to collect the used diapers! We had plenty of diapers to use and even a few left over. I loved working with such a sweet team, and I loved the luxury of not washing our own diapers while still enjoying the benefits of cloth. This was truly a perfect experience. read more

I came into Eastfield Laundry for the first time today. I was immediately greeted by employee Becca. She was so very helpful and patient with explaining what washers and dryers were best for what I brought in. The place was very clean. Especially the bathroom! There were signs posted everywhere to inform you of how to use the washers and dryers. I especially love that you don't have to put quarters in the machines if you don't want to deal with getting change. You can swipe your credit/debit card. Awful, terrible, miserable incompetent. They don't use laundry soap. They use some water touted as a magical replacement for Tide. Terrible. Clothes come back having just taken a ride in their smelly washer. They overstuff washers so the clothes don't get clean. Don't bother. read more

Thisnis one of the better laundromats that I have been to. The previous review captures it pretty well. Many of the machines allow you to swipe a credit card rather than drop quarters. As an example, the largest dryers charge 25 cents for ten minutes. You enter the amount of time desired, then swipe your card. Time can also be added with quarters. The machines work very well and dry clothes quickly. read more
