If I could give them more than five stars, then I would! I am in a wedding this weekend, and as with most bridesmaid dresses, I had to order my dress about 9 months in advance. Since I ordered my dress, I have become pregnant. I called A Perfect Fit several weeks before the wedding and I was absolutely terrified that there was nothing they could do to make sure that my dress would fit my now pregnant body. I was told to come in the week of the wedding to ensure that it would fit my growing belly. I went to the shop on Monday morning and I received a call by Monday evening that the majority of the alterations to my dress had been completed. I went to try on my dress the very next day and I was nearly moved to tears by how well my dress fit. I was so nervous and worried about not fitting into my dress, and they completely eliminated all of my concerns. Being pregnant comes with many challenges, and the fact that they could make me feel comfortable and look good in a dress while I'm pregnant and almost constantly uncomfortable is a gift that I could not possibly thank them enough for. (I do not wish to be contacted and let anybody attempt to make this better because its way too late for that) So I was recommended to "a perfect fit" to make sure my wedding dress still fits with beginning to be pregnant. And I called them a couple days ago and explained twice to two women that this is a wedding dress, I am the bride, and I found out recently I am pregnant and need to come in to try it on and see what needs to be done to it. I was well aware they do not do wedding dresses and that this would be a more independent trip as far as not getting much help. I get there this morning and both women act clueless, and extremely negative towards me as if I never called. So I was understanding and thought maybe I talked to two other women and proceeded to ask them if I could at least try it on so I could see what I'm working with here. I was led to a dressing room by a mouthy older woman who kept telling me that I did not explain that it was a wedding dress and how wrong I was so I just ignored her and before shutting the door she raised her voice because i wasnt responding to her. so I just grabbed my stuff and said this was a waste of time and I know what I said to both of them and shame on them for treating me so poorly, then i walked to the front and got the two recommendations for wedding alterations and walked out of the establishment. What really turned me off was the arguing. I am an organized and well rounded young independent women. And I know exactly what I repeated to these women on the phone. So to be told that I didn't and then argued with about it as if the woman was 5 years old did not sit well with me. Super dissapointed in the way I was just treated. I am extremely nice to anybody who works in the customer service industry because that's literally all I have worked since I was 14. I am also a very understanding person and I remain calm until someone else isn't. I hope they have a better reputation with other people. Good luck to anyone else who tries them. read more
